About: Animal care has always been second hand nature to me. I have had dogs as little as a snow white Maltese Puddle and a brown and black yorkie to something as big a red nose Pitbull and a German Sheperd Pharaoh Hound mix. I have 4 years of on the job animal care experience from when I was employed with Cobb County Police Department (Animal Control Unit) and an abundance of personal experience. Currently I work as a Security Enforcement Agent and have been thinking about animal care again. I hope to be able to be able to assist you and your animal soon. Currently I work fulltime as a Security Enforcement Agent and would like to get into animal care again without leaving my current job fully. I am technically a contractor so adjusting and or changes to my schedules are normal for me and won't be hard to do. The way I care for my dog is probably not gonna be the same for you. But my dog sleeps with me, is allowed on the couch and usually gets multiple walks on my off days and longer walks on work days. I let her free feed, one scoop in the morning that she is free to snack on throughout the day. If its finished before 5/6pm she gets a half scoop. I also give her daily vitamins, dental bones and treats. Lots of love and spoiling. But when it comes to in the clients home there rules for the pet(s) are my rules for the pet(s)

About: Hello and welcome! I'm Heather, but I go by Xel (pronounced •zel•) and it's nice to meet you! I have owned more dogs and cats (as well as a ferret, lizard, fish, and a spider and have handled various others) than I can count through the years (I'm almost 40 and we've had a LOT!). Everything from domestic shorthair to Bengal-mix and Schnauzers to German Shepherds. I have house-sat for both friends and family for many years (short and extended!) and I have administered medicine in pill form, as well as inhaler (would be willing to learn injections if necessary). Our oldest cats have lived 18 years, and I currently own four cats (all rescues, aged 2 to 16). Our oldest dogs have lived 15+ I believe, but it's been a long time since owning one (my parents are disabled). I have done a bit of training with dogs and cats alike, but I am not a professional. I'm HIGHLY flexible, so if you would like to know more, feel free to reach out! If you've made it this far, have a lovely day! ♡ I'm available at a moments' notice the majority of the time! This includes overnights, emergencies, and short/extended stays. As long as there is clear communication, I'll do my best to aid in any situation, even if it's within the hour! ♡ For our own cats, our oldest, Max, has to be fed separately from the others, as he needs a higher calorie diet than the others. All of the cats are treated with flea medication and I clean multiple litter boxes several times a week. For friends and family, I have had feeding schedules for both dogs and cats, ranging from custom mixed and weighed portions to simply making sure the auto-feeders/fountains are kept clean and filled. My best friend's dog gets playtime and outside time (he has a runner and a ton of toys to play fetch with). My Aunt's cat would need constant watch, as he needed an inhaler if he walked too far or his anxiety flared. I'm also open to doing light chores, so feel free to reach out with any and all questions! Together, we’d be happy to treat your pet with the same love, attention, and care as our own. I work from home and homeschool my daughter so we will have plenty of time to care for your pet full time. Long walks along the beltline or local park is part of our daily routine. I provide a calm, safe, and clean environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed. I follow their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, and any special instructions. Pets get plenty of attention, supervision, and playtime throughout the day so they feel engaged and cared for, not stressed or alone. I make sure they always have fresh water, a comfortable resting space, and a low-stress atmosphere. I also limit exposure to any hazards and keep a close eye on behavior and wellbeing. My goal is for every pet to feel like they’re staying in a second home, not just being watched.

About: I am a stay at home mom with my 9 year old daughter and 13 year old son. I began grooming when I was 22. After a couple of years I started my own grooming salon. I also did pet sitting and boarding for many of my clients. When my son was born ten years later I sold my grooming business to devote more time to him.
