“Serria was wonderful and took exceptional care of our baby girl. We were concerned about how Zhuri would do with other animals, especially cats, but she got along well with Serria’s two dogs and cat. Serria sent daily photos of Zhuri bonding and relaxing with her eldest dog. One picture showed Zhuri outside in her spacious, fenced yard, where they had plenty of room to run and play. It was clear Zhuri felt comfortable in her home. Serria cared for our sweet girl as if she were her own. She was kind, responsive, and made the entire experience stress-free. I have owned more dogs and cats (as well as a ferret, lizard, fish, and a spider and have handled various others) than I can count through the years (I'm almost 40 and we've had a LOT!). Everything from domestic shorthair to Bengal-mix and Schnauzers to German Shepherds. I have house-sat for both friends and family for many years (short and extended!) and I have administered medicine in pill form, as well as inhaler (would be willing to learn injections if necessary). Our oldest cats have lived 18 years, and I currently own four cats (all rescues, aged 2 to 16). Our oldest dogs have lived 15+ I believe, but it's been a long time since owning one (my parents are disabled). I have done a bit of training with dogs and cats alike, but I am not a professional. All of the cats are treated with flea medication and I clean multiple litter boxes several times a week. For friends and family, I have had feeding schedules for both dogs and cats, ranging from custom mixed and weighed portions to simply making sure the auto-feeders/fountains are kept clean and filled. My best friend's dog gets playtime and outside time (he has a runner and a ton of toys to play fetch with). My Aunt's cat would need constant watch, as he needed an inhaler if he walked too far or his anxiety flared. I'm also open to doing light chores, so feel free to reach out with any and all questions! We were concerned about how Zhuri would do with other animals, especially cats, but she got along well with Serria’s two dogs and cat. Serria sent daily photos of Zhuri bonding and relaxing with her eldest dog. One picture showed Zhuri outside in her spacious, fenced yard, where they had plenty of room to run and play. It was clear Zhuri felt comfortable in her home. Serria cared for our sweet girl as if she were her own. She was kind, responsive, and made the entire experience stress-free. “Elisabeth and Forrest are amazing! From the moment I brought Pixie over for a meet-and-greet, I could feel the positive energy in their home and knew they would be a great fit for her. One of the biggest signs was Pixie’s behavior during our visit—rather than running to the nearest hiding spot, she came out of her carrier, explored the house, and plopped down on the floor as if she were already at home. During Pixie’s stay, she unexpectedly developed conjunctivitis and needed an emergency vet visit. Elisabeth and Forrest handled the situation quickly, professionally, and with genuine care. They kept me informed every step of the way, which gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. By the time I picked Pixie up, her eye was almost completely healed. This was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving Pixie with a sitter, so I was naturally a little nervous. Despite the unexpected health issue, I truly believe Pixie enjoyed her stay and was well cared for. I highly recommend Elisabeth and Forrest and would absolutely trust them with Pixie again.”
