“Serria was wonderful and took exceptional care of our baby girl. We were concerned about how Zhuri would do with other animals, especially cats, but she got along well with Serria’s two dogs and cat. Serria sent daily photos of Zhuri bonding and relaxing with her eldest dog. One picture showed Zhuri outside in her spacious, fenced yard, where they had plenty of room to run and play. It was clear Zhuri felt comfortable in her home. Serria cared for our sweet girl as if she were her own. She was kind, responsive, and made the entire experience stress-free. Zhuri was in excellent hands with someone who clearly loves animals, and we truly appreciated the care and attention she received. Highly recommend!”

We also offer Drop offs as early as 7am and pick up as late as 9pm. I am a stay at home mom. My husband works from home and my son and daughter are home schooled. So someone is always home! About: •Dog walking: I have two energetic Labrador Retrievers . Saying so I have great patience with being pulled to smell plants or even the excitement of seeing other people being pulled. So while away you can be comforted knowing your dog isn’t being jerked or punished for just being a dog. They’ll have enough time to get some of that crazy or little energy they do have. So when you arrive home you can smile knowing they got a little adventure out of their day. •Dog sitting/Check-ins: It’s nerve wrecking trusting someone with your best friend. Having my own two dogs I would treat your baby with highest quality of care. Plenty of bathroom breaks, with time to get a breath of fresh air from being inside. Time devoted for playtime to keep your best friend busy so there will be little time for any accidents. I am currently work from home full-time with extra time in-between my schedule. I have plenty of time to do drop in visits to give your fur babies the care they need. So your time apart is less stressful on you and as well as them while missing you. Care in client home: You are trusting me to come into your home and take care of your loved one. I will give your pet the upmost respect and love you’d give. I know personally how stressful it can be wondering if someone is giving your pet enough water or being fed properly. I want to make this time apart easy on the both of you. I have such a high expectation for those who watch my dogs so i want to give your pets the best care possible. In my home care: While not being in your pets comfort zone away in a different spot. I can promise they will get plenty of love and comfort. I allow my dogs on my couch where they get plenty of cuddles as well as in my bed. They do sleep with me off and on. I know it can be a little hesitant with a little one around. But I make sure my daughter respects pets boundaries and does not crawl all over them or put them into an uneasy situation.
About: Hello and welcome! I'm Heather, but I go by Xel (pronounced •zel•) and it's nice to meet you! I have owned more dogs and cats (as well as a ferret, lizard, fish, and a spider and have handled various others) than I can count through the years (I'm almost 40 and we've had a LOT!). Everything from domestic shorthair to Bengal-mix and Schnauzers to German Shepherds. I have house-sat for both friends and family for many years (short and extended!) and I have administered medicine in pill form, as well as inhaler (would be willing to learn injections if necessary). Our oldest cats have lived 18 years, and I currently own four cats (all rescues, aged 2 to 16). Our oldest dogs have lived 15+ I believe, but it's been a long time since owning one (my parents are disabled). I have done a bit of training with dogs and cats alike, but I am not a professional. This includes overnights, emergencies, and short/extended stays. As long as there is clear communication, I'll do my best to aid in any situation, even if it's within the hour! ♡ For our own cats, our oldest, Max, has to be fed separately from the others, as he needs a higher calorie diet than the others. All of the cats are treated with flea medication and I clean multiple litter boxes several times a week. For friends and family, I have had feeding schedules for both dogs and cats, ranging from custom mixed and weighed portions to simply making sure the auto-feeders/fountains are kept clean and filled. My best friend's dog gets playtime and outside time (he has a runner and a ton of toys to play fetch with). My Aunt's cat would need constant watch, as he needed an inhaler if he walked too far or his anxiety flared. I'm also open to doing light chores, so feel free to reach out with any and all questions! I have run a kennel of up to qw5 dogs by myself, supervised at doggy daycare, trained as a vet tech assistant for almost a year, and am a trained groomer. The wellbeing of all fur babies is my passion. Days I don't work there will be tons of play time, 3 potty breaks, and cuddle time. Workdays they will gst their morning walk and breakfast then stay wherever you like in your home. For cats: I understand cats aren't small dogs — they need something completely different. I give them a safe, quiet space to settle in at their own pace, no forcing interaction. I read their cues — whether they want lap time, window watching, or just a calm human nearby. Litter box hygiene is spotless and non-negotiable. I'm very careful about doors, windows, and escape points so your indoor cat stays safely indoors. For all pets: I monitor eating and behavior closely and flag anything off straight away. You'll get regular photo and video updates — as many or as few as you'd like. I've been caring for pets for over 10 years for people who trust me like family, and I take that trust seriously. My goal is simple: your baby comes home calm, happy, and exactly themselves. I do have a fenced yard but do not allow dogs to go out alone unsupervised. I enjoy walking dogs and will keep the routine that you have with your dog. I only take cats and dogs at the same time from the same family. “Elisabeth and Forrest are amazing! From the moment I brought Pixie over for a meet-and-greet, I could feel the positive energy in their home and knew they would be a great fit for her. One of the biggest signs was Pixie’s behavior during our visit—rather than running to the nearest hiding spot, she came out of her carrier, explored the house, and plopped down on the floor as if she were already at home. During Pixie’s stay, she unexpectedly developed conjunctivitis and needed an emergency vet visit. Elisabeth and Forrest handled the situation quickly, professionally, and with genuine care. They kept me informed every step of the way, which gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. By the time I picked Pixie up, her eye was almost completely healed. This was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving Pixie with a sitter, so I was naturally a little nervous.
