Hanna does really well with my dog. She’s very patient with his high energy. She does tricks and commands with him to earn treats. I will definitely be using her again to walk my dog

About: I've taken care of all sorts of different dogs and cats throughout my life. I've had experience with large reactive dogs, dogs who like their space, cats who don't like to be touched, dogs who have endless energy, cats who love all the snuggles, dogs who only selectively like other dogs and the friendliest of pups! I've worked at a kennel for 3 years in the past and have all the patience in the world to make sure you AND your pet is comfortable with me. I’m available all day during summer vacation! I have a ton of flexibility to be able to cater to your schedule. Send me a message to see what I have available! I have the ability to crate and a little senior lady who loves to snuggle with all types of dogs and cats! We will take lots of walks (with permission) and get lots of outside / play time!

My dog is pretty anxious when it comes to new people/being around people when I’m not present, but Jasmine is so great with him! She was able to meet him prior to becoming his dog walker and he loved her instantly.

Ricardo is amazing! First time using Rover and I absolutely picked the right person. He scheduled a meet-and-greet to introduce himself and get to know my dog. They were completely at ease with each other. Ricardo’s a proactive communicator, provided regular updates, and was always friendly and punctual. I highly recommend.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life as well as fostering both for six years. I have experience with puppies, kittens, seniors, reactive dogs, and medication administration! I’m just looking for something fun to do between classes during the week and on my off days! It also allows me some much needed time with dogs as I unfortunately don’t have any since moving from Northern Michigan! I would treat them as if they were my own pet follow the owners instructions and be respectful of their home. I’m comfortable administering medications and working with reactive animals.

About: Hi! I’m Ashleigh 😊 I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and have a few years of dog-sitting experience, caring for both my own pets and my neighbors’ dogs. I’m comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, and I always make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I offer drop-in visits and dog walking, and I’m available during the afternoon (sometimes early morning)and on most holidays. I currently work during the day, but I’m happy to help on my days off and when my schedule allows. I’m comfortable with puppies and senior dogs, and I can care for multiple pets at once. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs and routines, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or just some extra companionship. You can expect regular updates and photos so you always know your pet is in good hands 🐾 Feel free to reach out—I’d love to meet you and your pet! I currently work during the day, so I offer pet care mainly on my days off and when I have daytime availability. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m an animal lover and enjoy spending time with dogs. I make sure to plan my schedule so each pet gets enough attention, whether that’s walks, drop-in visits, feeding, or playtime. I keep my availability realistic so I can provide reliable, consistent care for every booking. I care for pets in my client’s home by following their usual routine as closely as possible to help the pet feel comfortable and secure. I make sure to follow all instructions for feeding, walks, medication, and any specific care needs. I also spend time giving attention, play, and companionship so they don’t feel alone while their owner is away. I pay close attention to safety, making sure doors, leashes, and environments are secure during visits and walks. I also keep the home tidy and respect the client’s space. I provide updates and photos after visits so owners can feel confident their pet is happy and well cared for 🐾

Thank you! Lillie was able to come by with very little notice and arrived right on time. She was easy to communicate with and very patient with Squidward, who is shy and nervous around new people. They went for a walk, and when the heat became too much for him, she appropriately brought him back early. I had a good first experience and will likely book with her again so Squidward can continue getting comfortable with her.

About: I am a retired Special Education Teacher. Your pet will get spoiled in my home or yours! I am a compassionate, caring person. I have been providing care for dogs for 4 years. I have plenty of references to back up any recommendation that you made need. My last pet was a puppy named Bella that I provided care for. I watch her 30 hours a week and helped potty train her. I loved her as if she was my own. I was Gramma Lisa to her and we formed a special bond which I do with all the pets I watch. I have had dogs in my life since I was young. I tell my friends that I will know I am heaven when I see my past dogs around me.

About: I've been around cats and critters my whole life. Right now I have my sweet Torti Twix and Noche, my mama's boy. I recently lost my soul kitty, Bronson, and would love to be surrounded by more kitties again. I used to have a leopard gecko named Pedro, so bring on your scaled friends as well. Rats, buns, whatever you have! I accept ALL dog breeds! Find me on Facebook at Lor's Pet Sitting! I also volunteer at a no-kill shelter called Focus on Ferals. I have experience humanely administering pills/oral medication. *Trained in feline first aid* A drop-in includes: feeding, potty time/litterbox cleaning, playtime, love & cuddles, enrichment activities, medication administration (if needed), light housework (sweeping, trash, counters, etc), and daily updates with photos/videos. Rover is my full-time gig, which means I'm flexible with my schedule. I'm available mainly for overnight cat boarding and cat/dog drop-ins. I'd also love to walk your dog, whether they're big or small (I love them all)! Please inquire about services provided. I accept ALL dog breeds! My specialty is working with shy or skittish kitties. I'm patient enough to get on their level, approach slowly, earn their trust, and let them know I'm a safe person. It's incredibly rewarding work. I'm also a sucker for the elderly pets.

About: I have been with rover, dog bording, since 2018. I love animals, they are my favorite. I pet every dog I see. I have also been around animals my whole life. When I was younger I had a dog named rocky, he was a cocker spaniel and a beagle mix, I had him for 13 years. When we had to put him down part of my soul left, he was my best friend. I know what its like to love your beautiful animals, through hard times they are always there for us. They are all created with beautiful souls, we are so lucky to have something like that by our sides. With that being said, I would love to take in your pet as if it were my own. Thank you for reading. Ps.I do NOT have cats or any animals. For some reason it says I have cats. 🤷‍♀️ I currently am a stay at home mom so I am able to be with your pups all day! I am able to get to know your dog and they dont think im a stranger when they come back! I have a lot of space to take your dog for a walk. We walk in the morning and I take them for a long walk before bed, and to crate if needed.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Ballards Corners. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

  • 98% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
