About: I grew up training hunting dogs with my dad on the property. As I got older I was in charge of training any new family dogs we got. I am 100% guilty of stopping a conversation in its tracks because I see a dog in public and I have to go say hi to it. I have a 1 year old English cream named Cavill who is amazing with other dogs and is the most well behaved dog I have ever owned. Friday to Monday works best for boarding times but I can easily do drop ins and walks mid day because of my job. Most weekends I am at the house all day working on fixing things up or planning my wedding for 2026. I have a fenced in 1/4 acre back yard that Cavill loves to run around and play fetch in. I also have a doggy splash pool and wash area on the back deck for when things get muddy. No pets on furniture but there are multiple areas for dog beds and very comfy carpet upstairs.
About: Began working in animal hospitals when I was 12… love caring for fur-babies! I hold a doctorate in a public health field & a degree in animal sciences/pre-veterinary medicine (was accepted into multiple veterinary schools). I recently moved, & saw an opportunity to return to caring for animals. I provide what I looked for when I used sitters for my pets: reliability, responsiveness, & and animal lover. I’m happy to provide a more comfortable experience for your pets while you’re away than traditional boarding via housesitting, boarding, & drop-ins. I recently moved to the area so am in an apartment (and why boarding large dogs is a case-by-case basis), but also am a homeowner, so understand entrusting your home to a house-sitter. Safety & a good experience for your pet(s) is my priority.

This is my second time using Zora’s service, and I’m very happy with it. In this occasion, she was also very proactive—when she couldn’t reach me to open the garage, she even tried to see if the back door was open. Once she was finally able to get in touch with me, she went back to the house again to make sure everything was taken care of. Communication was great at all times—she always responded quickly and kept me updated with photos of my dog. She was responsible and punctual, always arriving within the time range we had agreed on. She did a great job taking care of my dog, and I would definitely hire her again.

Sydney was great with our cats! She sent pictures every day and stayed in frequent communication. When we thought we had a problem with our dog-sitter and that we might have to have him brought home while we were still out of town, Sydney offered to watch him as well. It worked out, and he stayed where he was, but it was such a relief knowing we could count on Sydney to take care of him, if needed. Highly recommend!
