“Hannah was an AMAZING sitter. I was hesitant initially but she provided such good communication which made me comfortable. She also left the cutest toy and report card on my dog’s care. I will definitely be working with her again. 10/10”

“Shin took great care of our kitty! She is a cat mom herself and know how to go the extra mile. She kept the litter clean and even disposed of it off site to keep our place smelling fresh. We received dsily pics our kitty assuring us she was doing well. I would recommend Shin to anyone who wants the very best care!”

“Louise did a marvelous job of taking care of my skittish cat and helping him feel safe and comfortable around her while we were out of town. She went above and beyond to meet him where he was at and gave us honest, entertaining, and thorough updates. We’ll definitely book with her again and recommend that you do the same!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I currently have 2 large dogs, a bird, and 2 horses. Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their pets whether it’s walking, bathing or stopping in to feed. I have service trained one of my dogs, and am in the process with the other. Animals have always been a large part of my life and my love is always growing. I currently am in college and attend University of North Carolina Charlotte. I have a fairly open schedule currently while picking up jobs on the side. I tend to take care of my dogs by letting them out and feeding in the morning, and in the afternoon I take them on walks. I have a large fenced in yard that my dogs love to run around, and I love playing with them or tossing toys. If it’s raining outside I like to do some stimulation by working on training or giving them a toy that they can play with inside.
“Sara took great care of my cat Charlie and was a great communicator! We had a short meet up prior to her drop ins and she was lovely and I felt confident with my cat in her care. Thank you Sara”

“Elizabeth is a real life saver. We had gone out of town and left our pets with a sitter, but the sitter wasn’t able to give our elder cat our heart medicine. We reached out to Elizabeth and she was able to go and give the medicine without any issues and spent some time with our pets to make sure they weren’t lonely while our sitter was in school. We’ll definitely be reaching out to her again in the future when we go out of town!”

About: From taking care of my neighbors pets, to taking care of cows, I have years of experience caring for pets. I have great communication, integrity, and compassion for pets and have always loved them. Animals bring me joy and I love to help people. Being in college has made me miss my pets and so I hope to take care of some soon! Your pets are in trusted hands! I am currently at UNC Charlotte studying Civil Engineering and I do not have a part time job so I have plenty of free time on my hands. Any weekend event you’re gone for, you call me and I’ll be there! Back at home, I have a big fenced yard and comfortable beds through the house. I also have a semi strict routine. I have taken great care of my pets, two dogs and one cat, that if one is sick, vet appointments are made immediately. As far as clients, I am very adaptive and flexible with the routine and requirements for pet care. I don’t skip steps and I put the pets care first. I make sure to accommodate to the pet and what it needs for the best quality care. I enjoy every second of pets sitting because I am confident with my work ethic.
“Mati has been incredibly attentive and caring with my pup, and I truly appreciate her efforts. Her dedication and kindness have been a tremendous help to me, and I am so grateful for the positive impact she has had on both my life and my furry friend’s well being. Thank you, Mati, for everything you do!”

About: I have had all kinds of pets throughout my entire life. Every time we got a new dog, I always trained them the basics and they all have been great dogs. When my parents friends need someone to care for their animals while they’re gone, they always call me. I am a full-time student at UNC Charlotte with a flexible schedule to help out those in need! I love meeting new pets and caring for them before and after classes, which since I am graduating this spring is not many. I care for pets in the home as they are my own. I love interacting, cuddling, and talking to them like they can converse back, although they think I am crazy. I like to follow personal preferences and think no request or routine is crazy when it comes to your fur baby!
“Sarah helped us out in a pinch over the Thanksgiving holiday, providing drop-in visits for our dog for several days. She did a great job—always punctual and provided helpful updates and photos throughout. Without a doubt, we’d trust her to care for our dog again. Thanks Sarah!”

Your pets wellbeing is my absolute priority and i will do the most to bring the best possible care. I have leash trained my dog to stop pulling and to walk calmly around other people and other dogs. I have a ton of experience with larger dogs that weigh in at about 60-80 lbs.

University City South pet parents share their Rover experiences
Destiny did an excellent job with drop-in visits for our 2 cats!! She left cute notes about what she did with them each day that really captured their personalities, and she took great pictures. It was so much easier to enjoy our vacation knowing they were so well taken care of. She also sent extra videos of the cute things they did!

Jordan is our regular sitter. On our most recent trip, a snowstorm came through our home while we were away. We never had to worry about our babies. Jordan was very accommodating and communicated very well. She brings us peace of mind every time we book her!

This was our first time using Rover and Teo made it such an easy experience. He offered a meet and greet ahead of time, was accommodating when I needed to add an additional day of care, and truly eased so much anxiety I felt leaving my pet at home during travel with his great communication skills. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing care for their pet!
