About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, mostly dogs. I’ve owned my own dogs since I was 12, and I currently own a German shepherd and a Coton De Tulear. I consider myself a true animal enthusiast and I believe that caring for them is more than a chore, but something you need to be passionate about to give them the best care they deserve. I’m returning to college to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and I’d love to not only give your pets the care they deserve, but to add to my experience for the furbabies in the future! Caring for pets in my clients home will all depend on what I have access to. I am more than comfortable with taking dogs outside/on walks, crating them, and feeding/treating them.

Not only was Erica responsive to our initial needs but she was extremely accommodating as circumstances changed throughout the week. They’re usually skittish with anyone but those who live in the house but they just love when she’s around. “As a fur momma of 2 (was 3) fur babies, I can’t boast enough about Maggie. Not to mention having dogs with health issues. I have one epileptic dog and (did) have one diabetic dog and Maggie was one of two people I’d ever trust taking care of my dogs. She’s reliable, and present the whole time, sending updates and pictures. Shes allowed for me to feel at ease when I’m away. Most importantly, during situations where an incident, like a seizure, occurred Maggie was prepared, knowledgeable, and eager to help in the best way possible. I also want to mention on multiple occasions while we were away we have had home issue, like our basement flooding. This is obviously not ideal for her, yet she handled it with professionalism and ease. As someone who is always worried about her dog babies/health concerns, I truly couldn’t be more thankful to have found Maggie. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. About: I have been around animals my whole life. My range of experience goes from new born puppies and up. I have been dog sitting for my neighbor and some family friends for about 2 years now. I work 2 overnights a week at my job Sunday night and Tuesday night but would still be able to help out at night before going in and in the morning after I get out. I can make any accommodations for any of your animals needs whether that’s needing to only go out on a leash or following specific training plans.

About: I started longer-term overnight dog sitting about three years ago. I do frequent daytime potty breaks for friends when they are out of town. I have watched cats as well. I worked as a veterinary assistant for two years and I enjoy both cat and dog snuggles. Not currently working much, schedule is flexible which is ideal for your puppies that may need potty breaks while you are at work during the day or away on weekends. Unfortunately, I will only go to the clients home. I will not bring other animals into my house. I do own a cat and this is something my husband and I have agreed on.

“Hi there! This was my very first time using Rover and I was certainly very nervous to entrust my little guy with a new sitter since our recent move! However, Alex was fabulous ! He is everything you could want and more from a sitter and from a caregiver to your furry friends/family. Alex is extremely responsive, he arranged for at least 2 visits to meet my cat Oliver and to review schedule, questions, concerns, diet etc. Before actually starting the pet sitting. “Mariana has really helped with taking care of our dog. Mariana has many clients, but is very good about giving her time to each client when they are scheduled. She helped us with a drop-in visit for this stay, which allowed us to attend an all-day event that would have been very difficult to make without Mariana’s help. Additionally, given our dog’s difficult behavior when other people enter our home, the drop-in visit was very beneficial for learning what we needed to do to help our dog learn better habits when people enter our home. Mariana is very adept at understanding dog language and was quickly able to help us understand how he really needs gentle, but firm and consistent correcting when people enter. We have been able to employ what we have learned from Mariana because it is practical and doable advice. We are amazed that we have been able to learn to read subtle physical signs our dog was displaying to prevent his energy from escalating and although he still wants to exhibit high energy or bossy behaviors at times around new people, we are able to observe and correct him quickly and lead him to the desired behavior. He really is a happier dog because he is able to remain much calmer in situations that were making him nervous or over-excited and we are enjoying him so much more! Thank you, Mariana!”
