About: I can’t imagine living a life without being a dog mom. I’ve had dogs since my childhood and practically my entire adult life. I’ve had heartbreak from losing them because they were so loved. I’m retired and home mostly except for when I travel. I’m available to walk dogs and to play with them in fenced yard. I have a soft spot for all animals. My dog Holly is mostly an inside dog but always has access to fenced backyard through doggie door. The same would apply for any dogs I care for.

I have a mixed breed rescue dog (all shots and healthy) and two rescue cats. My three amigos! I have always owned large dogs, and am experienced with larger breeds. But I also adore the teeny tiny ones as well! If your pet comes to my home, they must accept cats as I have two indoor kitties. I have a large Enclosed yard they can run and play in, all day if they want. a large crate of needed , and I’m home full time. I can do sleepovers in your home, if not frequent, or extended stays. My pets and husband might get jealous! 🤣 *PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT board cats in my home, only dogs and caged animals. Sorry. I work from home and have the flexibility of scheduling work around my fury friends! I am available to accept any pets starting at 8am on weekdays and weekends. We take 1-2 walks each day. Your pet is allowed on furniture, so my home will become their home comfortably. I have a large backyard that is fully enclosed. I have a lot of experience with taking care of your pets and making sure you can function without the thought of your pet being mistreated. I have been a dog lover all my life. I also have non-aggressive French bulldogs your family member can play and bond with. I'm available anytime time. I'm just a call away from dropping your family member/members off for a nice clean stay until you arrive home from work or vacation. A nice big fenced in backyard so they can run and rest and I have three French bulldogs of my own. So they will have friends to talk and play with 😂
About: My family had puppy dog named Hazel who we had for about 3 years. I used to play fetch with her in the backyard when I’d come home from school when I was around 10. I’d help with baths, walking her, my mom taught me how bring her inside when I was home alone doing homework, she behaved great and protected me well. A few years later, she passed from choking while eating something that I think had a bone in it and that was the first experience of heartbreak/loss. A few years after that, I adopted my current pet cat on my birthday, Ace, who I love so much. I’ve always loved animals and give pets to dogs whenever I have permission to, my best friend has many dogs so when I go over her house, I get all the cuddles and get drooled on, which I’m used to at this point. I love watching dog training videos and educating myself as I get older so when I finally get a dog again, as an adult, I want to be prepared and educated on how to protect their health, feed them properly and keep them safe with proper nutrition, exercise and training. I would personally love to get myself a Doberman or German Shepherd (Like Hazel was). I often go to my aunts house who has multiple chunky french bulldogs and help her in anyway I can, I enjoy how sweet dogs are and would love to help do any training techniques you’d love your little doggo to be working on while you are away. I am also in the process of my goal of losing 100lbs! So this helps me get the exercise I need while doing something I’m passionate about! Weekday and Weekends for now, preferably during the Morning & Afternoons on Weekdays and anytime as long as there is a day notice beforehand so I can clear my schedule just for your pet. Not currently doing pet sitting or boarding at my own home, maybe I will be more likely to in the future but I’m not sure yet.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
