“Be ready for your dogs to like Joni more than you! My dogs love when she comes to visit. She brings treats, plays and even does some training. She gives detailed (and hilarious) updates with each visit. We just love her!”

“This was our first time with Breana, and she did a phenomenal job! She is professional, great with communication, and most importantly took wonderful care of our fur babies while we were gone. We are so glad to have found her to be our new kitty sitter since moving to this area. Highly recommend!”

“Ashley was incredibly friendly and took excellent care of our cats while we were away. She provided great communication, sending frequent updates and wonderful pictures that showed how much our pets were enjoying her visits. We returned home to happy, calm, and well-cared-for pets. Highly recommended!”

“I have two foster cats that last minute needed medical care while I was gone for a trip. I also have one cat who is acting up lately. BreeAna was awesome and was able to cover it last minute so I could relax for a few days and not worry about them. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Aubrey is an excellent sitter, she went above and beyond. She took amazing care of my cats, cleaning liter perfectly and giving them their wet food. She is a quick responder and really helped me feel my cats were super safe!”

“Sheri was fantastic! She was in constant contact, sent pictures and left no room for worry. In fact, we just rebooked with her for this next week!! She will be our go to anytime our fur babies need taken care of!”

“Denise has been patient with Willow Moon’s “work for my trust” attitude. She finally gave her the belly. I’ve been waiting for that moment. I definitely trust her with my baby, she is Willow Approved, and that’s not an easy approval to get.”

About: I have always had pets! I have helped a dog give birth before. As well as trained several different breeds of dogs! I have also trained one cat to sit. I don't have a job right now so I'm available with little notice on weekdays and moderate notice on weekends! I will try to answer to everyone promptly I clean my cats litter boxes every other day and take my leash trained cat on a walk at least once a day! I can clean accidents, and litter boxes. I have no trouble following a feeding schedule or administering medication, I've given both dogs and my cats medicine in the past.

“Lisa was an amazing - we were gone a few days, this was the first time I had ever left my kitten with someone that wasn’t family. I would leave him a month with Lisa! She sent pictures morning and night, left everything spotless and made the kitties feel safe. Highly reccomend her for all your animal needs. Would book her 100x over!!!”

“Angela was very communicative while checking on my cat and even went so far as to bring in packages when my mail hold didn't take! Lovely sitter and I'll definitely be using her again.”

“Cranesha did very well with following specific instructions. I could tell my dog felt at ease with her. We rested well knowing our dog was well cared for. I hope to use her in the future. Thank you. 😊”

“She was very good with my fur baby today was super hot so my callie didn't get it long, walked, but she took her out for a little walk, but the fact that she was concerned that she was getting overheated really touches me because my husband worries about that all the time, we will definitely be using her again”

“Katherine was incredible while we were away! She was so detailed in the care of our cats, played with them and ensured their litter areas were cleaned. Her communication was excellent and we loved all of the photos she provided. We will absolutely use her again!”

About: I am a fur mom to 7 dogs, 1 cat and fish. I have had animals in my life since I was a teenager. I had a dog sitting business years ago and loved it. I have senior dogs now and have even rescued senior dogs and they lived with me until the end. I have fostered for rescues and even been a foster failure and adopted. I currently work full-time but still can stay at your home to watch your babies. I love dogs, cats and fish. I have had animals since I was a teenager and had a pet sitting business in Alabama before I moved to FL. At one point I had over 20 dogs in my home lol. Now I prefer to stay at my clients home but can still keep your baby at mine if you need. I promise to give your baby the love and attention he/she needs and deserves because they are babies with fur coats and should be treated like it. I will do whatever needed in my clients home, check on your pets at your home or your pets can stay at my home. I have my own pack myself.
About: Hi! I'm Lydia. I'm a former zookeeper and animal trainer living in Panama City, FL. I have always loved animals and I've had pets my whole life. I currently have a cat and a parrot. I've cared for lots of different types of animals, from fur to feathers and beyond, so if you have other pets that need care while you're away, I'm your girl! I'm also comfortable caring for dogs that need medication or have special needs, blind, deaf, etc. I’m not able to provide boarding but I'm happy to stay with your pet in your home. I promise I will take great care of your fur babies while you're away. Lots of love is guaranteed! I’m currently between jobs so my schedule is flexible. If and when that changes, my updated availability will be reflected in the app. Thank you for understanding. Establishing trust between myself, the dog, and the owner is critical, which is why I require a meet and greet before accepting any new clients. It’s important for me to understand your dog’s routine and environment so I can provide quality, consistent care to them while you’re away.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Baker
This was our first time using this type of service and it was really great. It gave us great piece of mind while we were gone to know the such a great and caring person was dropping in and taking care of our 3 cats. Ashley really did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend Ashley and will definitely request her services in the future!!!

Rebecca is absolutely amazing!!! This is the third time I’ve booked with her and I will continue to do so! The love she has for my fur babies absolutely shows and she is so good with them. Especially with my specifically shy kitty, she has been so patient with her that she now comes out to see her, she only does that with me! She also goes above and beyond in doing things I didn’t request, such as taking out trash, sweeping/vaccuuming, washing the kitty bowls. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tiffany was amazing with our pets! She was super flexible, easy to work with, and went above and beyond to care for our senior animals. It’s not easy trusting someone with older pets, but she treated them with so much patience and kindness. We’re incredibly grateful and would absolutely use her again!

Hannah is awesome! This was our second time booking her for cat drop-ins, and she did a wonderful job. She was dependable, communicated clearly, and took great care of our cats throughout our trip. We felt completely at ease and will absolutely be using her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Baker. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
