About: Hi! I'm Lydia. I'm a former zookeeper and animal trainer living in Panama City, FL. I have always loved animals and I've had pets my whole life. I currently have a cat and a parrot. I've cared for lots of different types of animals, from fur to feathers and beyond, so if you have other pets that need care while you're away, I'm your girl! I'm also comfortable caring for dogs that need medication or have special needs, blind, deaf, etc. I’m not able to provide boarding but I'm happy to stay with your pet in your home. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds. I wish I could have a pet of my own, but due to living in an apartment, it can get pretty expensive. I love having the opportunity through Rover to experience what it's like to be a pet parent again. I'm a stay-at-home mom who homeschools. I have a fairly flexible schedule outside of taking care of My 3 Children. My schedule is consistently kept up to date every day. I PROMISE: I will always be transparent and Always ask for permission. Follow care instructions, owner contact information, and emergency contact information for every stay. Always check fence gates before letting a dog outside. Always lock the doors. Walk through the area the dog will stay in and check that all trash can lids are locked, no food is on the counters, and that any gates or crates set up are secure. (100 times before I leave to be on the safe side lol)

About: I have two rescue dogs, Jarvis & Jumbo. They're both poodle mixes and get along very well with other dogs. We have a large, 6-8 ft privacy fenced in back yard with grass and plenty of safe romping room. I know how important it is to have peace of mind for your pets while you have to be away from them. If you are interested in booking a stay in our home, please make sure to provide the last date of vaccinations for your pet by sending a screenshot or photo in messages of their record. Please try to complete your profile as much as possible so that I can make an informed decision about working together for your pup/s. Thank you for considering hiring me to take great care of your pets. Please reach out with any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting you. We can work out the schedule that best suits your dog’s needs, based on my availability. My dogs use a doggie door and my in-laws come by to check on them if needed. We also have cameras to monitor them throughout in the event of an emergency while we’re not home. I have a large, completely privacy fenced back yard for exercise and play. They have access to all space inside our home as they would yours. If you'd like to have them crated, please bring the crate.

About: I’ve had animals of all kinds my whole life. I’ve volunteered at the humane society to walk big dogs and help get them adopted. My last dog was a bull terrier who lived to be 16 and he was my first baby. Bull terriers and Great Danes are a unique breed but so much fun and it brings me so much joy to be around animals and help them in anyway I’m a stay at home mom and a retired Marine veteran. I have nothing but time during the week to help out and possibly weekends depending on the date and time. I can crate them if need be, walk, play, feed, bathe and watch over your pet drop off at doggy day care or play at the dog park if they’re up for it! I’m experienced in large strong breeds as well as tiny little guys!

About: I am a fur mom to 7 dogs, 1 cat and fish. I have had animals in my life since I was a teenager. I had a dog sitting business years ago and loved it. I have senior dogs now and have even rescued senior dogs and they lived with me until the end. I have fostered for rescues and even been a foster failure and adopted. I currently work full-time but still can stay at your home to watch your babies. I love dogs, cats and fish. I have had animals since I was a teenager and had a pet sitting business in Alabama before I moved to FL. At one point I had over 20 dogs in my home lol. Now I prefer to stay at my clients home but can still keep your baby at mine if you need. I promise to give your baby the love and attention he/she needs and deserves because they are babies with fur coats and should be treated like it. I will do whatever needed in my clients home, check on your pets at your home or your pets can stay at my home. I have my own pack myself.

About: I've lived on a horse farm my entire life surrounded by animals. Keeping a schedule of stimulation and care daily. I work as a Wrangler giving children horse back riding tours through the mountains and care for 150 head of horses (off my property) on a regular basis. I grew up with multiple dogs large and small as well as cats, cows, chickens, turkeys, the works! I've cared for multiple litters of Cocker Spaniel puppies as a child, including bathing, trimming/grooming, and feeding. I have helped birth a litter of pups as well as a horses new born foal. I care for my friends pets when they go out of town all the time and really enjoy the company of a furry companion on my numerous hiking adventures around the county.
