I’m an animal lover and aspiring vet in the Lynn Haven with a medium-sized mixed-breed dog at home and a toddler who is great with animals. Growing up, my family called me Doctor Doolittle because I started bringing animals home and caring for them from a young age. I’ve been pet sitting and walking dogs since I was 10, starting with neighbors and later expanding to Craigslist before joining Rover. About: I’ve worked with aggressive dogs in the past and have trained my golden retriever out of both food aggression, toy aggression, and resource guarding. I’m used to distributing medication orally if necessary as my own dogs have needed it before. I frequently groom Dizzy myself as he is a high maintenance golden retriever so I am available for that as well if needed. I am finishing my senior year from home so I am with my dogs 24/7. I feed them myself, I give them water myself, and I train them myself. I train my dogs for at a minimum of 5 minutes every day and work a variety of skills into their training, such as crate training, patience during meals, not snatching things, such as toys or treats, when I give it to them, settling when in the house, and I also socialize them to different sounds such as knocking on doors, babies crying, fire alarms, etc so they are set up for success no matter what happens. I want nothing but the best for my babies and I want you to know I want nothing but the best for your pets as well! My dogs have an acre of land to roam around in. They have full access to water 24/7 and get fed twice a day, once in the morning and once in the late evening before the sun sets. I work on training them for a minimum of 5 minutes a day to keep their skills and learned tricks in tact and I usually take them to our nearby park to hang out and meet new people!

About: I've grown up with dogs almost my entire life, and I have nearly a decade of experience as a kennel worker at a pet resort. As a dog owner, pet care is a part of my daily routine. For me, it's almost instinct. Family isn't a question of blood or legal relation; it's who you live and grow up with. If you have only one animal, you probably have a reason; I can keep them away from other animals(domestic or wild) if required. I know that pets need constant supervision, like a toddler, but with better hair. I will make sure they get breakfast and dinner(and lunch, if they get lunch), potty time every couple hours, and exercise(walks and play). I will also clean up after them, and hide meds in food if necessary.

Jessie had the sweetest countenance, as soon as she opened her front door, I knew my pup was in good hands. We were in a last minute, out of town situation and she readily accepted our request, welcomed us with open arms even though she had a house full already! She’s very good at what she does. Mav was nervous at first being that we were in a different city and traveling can be hard on him but he ended up playing all day with the other dogs and it was just comforting to have found a star sitter with such a kind heart in a somewhat foreign place!
