“Aaron is amazing!! Our girls loved being with him and his family. He went above and beyond by providing super detailed info about their walk breaks and if they peeped or pooped. But the absolute BEST part was his super artistic photos of the girls!!! Works of art!!”

About: My name is Alexandria, and I absolutely love all the pups! I would love to care for your fur baby and get all the cuddles while you enjoy your time away! I’ve got 8+ years experience being a kennel tech and would be better accommodated if I could do it remotely. I haven’t met an animal yet that I didn’t love caring for! I work for Bay District Schools so I am off for the summer and have plenty of free time and am accommodated to sit small breed dogs. I have a 3 month old miniature schnauzer and a 5 month old plott hound beagle mix that are the light of my life aside from being a mom! I sit for family and friends but am looking to expand. I can care for pets in-home, and can be available for house visits. I’m very experienced in nail trimming and bathing. I do not offer grooming services but will if necessary.
“I felt quite at ease entrusting Chico to Cranesha’s family due to her extensive background and experience, as well as the positive reviews on Rover. However, I had some apprehension as Chico had never been in a house with other pets before. Despite being a bit spoiled and craving attention, especially from people, I was unsure of how he would behave. He is very energetic. Cranesha sent me a few pic and text messages, and upon checking the app, I discovered even more photos showing that Chico had a wonderful time. It appears that both the family and the other dogs enjoyed his company, and he had a great time with them. I will definitely choose Cranesha again when I am in the area.”

“Oh my goodness. I can not say enough good things about Patience and her husband. They were so great to my little guy. I was so nervous to leave my little guy. I had never left him before but we were vacation and my daughter wanted to go snorkeling. Not a service dog friendly activity. Patience put us at ease from the second we walked up to her door. She was super friendly and just loved my Ewok. She sent me tons of pictures throughout his stay to show me how he was doing. It made this mommy heart happy! It helped me focus on my two legged kiddo knowing my 4 legged kiddo was safe and being well cared for. Thank you so much!”

About: I love theater. I love any kind of animal and I will treat them like as if they are my own. I used to have pets but they passed away recently. I’m only available to pet sit at your own place! My apartment does not allow pets. However I can pets it anywhere else. I am available in Panama City, Panama City Beach, Southport, and 30a! I also work at Home Depot from 6 to 10 AM so my availability is after 10 AM. I am also 22 years old and I have very little experience pet sitting my own pets. But I have experience volunteering at the Humane Society of Bay County. I will make your pet a very very happy. Can’t wait to meet everyone. It helps me pay my rent and other bills I have to pay. Plus my work has been cutting my hours so I could definitely use the extra help. I do not have a fenced in area nor am I allowed to have dogs in my house so I can only petsit in your home.
“I highly recommend Valerie. This was my first time using Rover and was apprehensive about leaving our fur baby with someone I didn't know. Not only did she take wonderful care of Brea but she sent multiple pictures showing us how her day was going. When you meet Valerie you can see how passionate she is with the animals she cares for. Valerie is very welcoming, and after meeting her you will feel like shes a good friend you have had most of your life.”

“Natalie did a fantastic job of taking care of Pippin! I think the best endorsement was offered by Pippin herself. When dropping Pippin off for the second time, she went straight up to Natalie, and when I wasn’t quick enough to leave, win right up to Natalie‘s door as if to say, “We’re good, and you can go.“. Natalie did a fantastic job of communicating during the visit and providing feedback at pick up. She also takes great pictures. ? I heartily endorse Natalie.”

“Excellent care taken for my Great Dane puppy. Ashley was patient with potty training and crate training. She was kind and sent frequent updates and videos so this nervous dog mom didn't have terrible separation anxiety lol. Thank you!”

“Susan and her family kept our two dogs for us all day, and they had a blast! She was so sweet to send photos and updates. It was so helpful and put us at ease to know they were in good hands all day :)”

“Our puppy enjoyed her time with Destini! This is our first time leaving her in care and Destini made sure to communicate with us and send pictures. We couldn't be more happy! Destini is kind and made the experience so easy. Definitely coming back in the future!”

About: I’ve cared for and have loved animals of all sizes and kinds since I can remember. I grew up taking care of 20+ horses on a farm and always having multiple dogs. I spent over 2 years working at a dog boarding & day care facility and believe I have allot of experience with fur babies of all kinds and find so much joy in caring for them! I'm a stay at home mama and work evenings at a day care 4-8pm 4 days a week. I can be available for as many let outs and cuddles your pup may need! About: Hi! My name is Alessandra! I’m a passionate dog lover and dedicated pet sitter. With years of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, I understand the importance of providing a safe and nurturing environment for your dog. I have two friendly Goldendoodles, including my 1 1/2-year-old Milo, who loves to adventure and play with EVERY dog he meets! We enjoy lots of activities, play dates, and fun treats. When we’re not out exploring or in the yard, we love cozying up at home for some cuddle time and a good movie. I also have experience with training so I can do some mini refreshers as well! I’m currently working from home so your dog will get lots of attention! Our day usually starts with a morning walk around 7/730am, breakfast. Around noon, we’ll go on another walk/potty break and play time outside. The third walk will be around 5/530 and last one around 930/10. To be honest, they end up playing most of the day and love to be in the yard (always supervised). If you’re pup has energy, this is a perfect fit. I live in a dog-friendly home with a spacious yard, perfect for pups to stretch their legs and enjoy outdoor playtime. I have two friendly Goldendoodles, so your dog will always have a built-in playmate if they enjoy socializing! We spend time playing in the yard, going on walks, and occasionally meeting other dog owners for play dates. I typically go on four walks a day and can tailor the walks to your dog’s needs, whether it’s together with my doodles or separately. Inside, it’s a clean and cozy space where pups are welcome on the sofa and bed (but don’t worry, I enforce basic training like no counter surfing or chewing on furniture). I keep the house pet-safe, so nothing dangerous or tempting is left out. Your dog will be in a safe and loving environment, receiving plenty of attention, pampering, and care.
“Aurora was the absolute best! I was pretty nervous as this was the first time to leave my 5 1/2 month old puppy with anyone. Aurora made me feel comfortable immediately. She sent updates with pictures all throughout each day. Shelby had a blast and looked so happy when we picked her up. Looking forward to her next stay!”

“Katrina was wonderful! She took such great care of my dog and kept me updated the whole time. I could tell my dog was happy and well cared for. Highly recommend her! 💕”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
