“Casie was wonderful! We felt comfortable leaving our two active boys with her and she took such great care of them! We have one very anxious dog while the other is more wild and playful, and both seemed to be happy and content while Casie stayed at our home and cared for them. She was a great communicator and send pics and updates so that we were able to relax while we were away. She left the house very clean, was willing to get the mail and paper, and was patient with us when we checked in for updates and while we were explaining the dogs' routines, feeding schedules and medications. Casie even brought in and then took the garbage can back out to the curb so it was ready for pick up on the day we came home which was very kind! We hope Casie will be willing and available to stay in our home and with our dogs again soon! Thank you so much for taking such good care of the boys!”

About: I've cared for various kinds of pets over my whole life and at one point was able to become an AKC trained dog trainer! I've since changed jobs to a patient sitter at a nearby hospital and miss the new animals being in my life. I'd love to get a chance to meet your pets and help care for them! I work 3 inconsistent days from either 630am-pm or 630pm-am throughout the week but can make changes as needed to work up to 3 days a week for a client outside of that! I feel that all pets have a wide range of personalities and needs but the important thing is to work with them to achieve their physical and emotional needs! I have 2 cats with vastly different attitudes and I make sure to tailor my care for them in specific ways like being a safety person for my cat while she's eating or training my partners cat to ask for attention and treats more politely. When it comes to dogs I have a training in positive reinforcement and dog behaviors and will try to engage with breed specific enrichment on top of whatever schedule the pet parents have for their dog.

About: I was born into a family with a dog and have had a dog in my life ever since! Now I have a 7 year old pittie mix who is my whole world. I trained her and continue to do so to help her acquire new skills or just for mental stimulation. While I was a late-in-life cat lover, I now have 2 cats of my own who i cant imagine life without. Over the years I’ve had many friends, family, and coworkers trust me with their fur babies whether it was for a single walk, a feeding and play time, or stay overs while they were gone. I even have experience administering medicine to special needs animals. I have a flexible schedule and can adapt to your needs. Usually I am free in the mornings and afternoons. Evenings are tougher for me, but we can make something work! I will always want to do a meet and greet before caring for your animal whether I’m providing a walk or a staying with your fur baby over night. I want to make sure I’m the best fit and that you feel comfortable with your pet in my hands. I will defer to you in terms of safety and care (beyond the basics) as you know your pet best. As I get to know your pet, I’ll understand their preferences and triggers which will allow me to provide them with the best care.

About: I've taken care of dogs of all ages/breeds for friends, family, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I have experience with specific dietary restrictions and oral medications as well. I am currently between travel contracts (I am a travel occupational therapist) so I have open availability until my next start date. I have a cat of my own that requires oral meds in the evening, but I can be flexible with times. I am very open to what you/your pet may need! I've put dogs on runs in the yard, leashes, or harnesses, as well as keeping them away from interacting with other dogs throughout their walks if needed. Their comfort and safety are top priority.

I am currently home from college for the summer and am willing to work any day and time during the months of June, July and August.
