About: I have had 3 dogs of my own! An Australian Cattle Dog Mix, a Basenji mix, and a working line large breed German Shepherd, which I helped train in obedience to be an SD. My dogs always had scheduled potty breaks and playtime. My job is to make sure your pet has the best time while keeping boundaries/respecting their space, ensuring their safety, and following your expectations of care. I am comfortable with any amount of shedding and the size of your pet. I can especially ease my interaction with pets that are scared and anxious, as through training my own dog, I am better at picking up the dog’s body language and only engage in physical contact if the pet’s body language consents. If you have an aggressive pet, please notify me beforehand. I do not guarantee I will agree to care for them, but I am interested in scheduling a first meeting if possible. Note: I do not drink/smoke, so your loved one will never be affected by second-hand smoke or inappropriate behavior. I am very available on the weekends and by the afternoon on weekdays. If you need morning care, please reach out and I will see if I can accommodate! My pets are routinely groomed and freshened. Everytime they come inside after heavy play, I clean their body from head to toe with pet friendly wipes. I use a brush that helps with shedding and smoothing out hair. Their teeth gets brushed every 2 weeks. I check their ears for dirt routinely and the inside of their paws for any injuries or cracking from dryness.

About: I have taken care of dogs all my life. I have looked after dogs of all sizes. I thoroughly enjoy the presence of puppies and have had the pleasure of training puppies, caring for elder dogs, and everything in between Currently, I am conducting research at the University of Buffalo til the end of July. I am working a typical 9-5 but have all time around that flexible. I can work nights are even early in the morning as well, but lunch time check ins will be difficult for me.
