“Deirdra is a great communicator. She's got a calm and cheerful demeanor and our two black labs (mother & son) were very content in her care. Though never intrusive, she kept us abreast of their goings on while we were away for two weeks in Hawaii. She sent photos of their trips to the beach, play time with her mature Aussie shepherd and photos of my garden (since it was in peak Spring bloom). I would heartily recommend her to anyone seeking responsible, communicative, competent care for their pets. She's a delight!”

“April was awesome! She was very thoughtful in cleaning behind herself, and even what as far as washing her sheets and making the bed so that we wouldn't have to when we got home from our trip. SO nice! Our pups were happy we were home, and they weren't anxious from lack of activity or stimulation. It was obvious April kept them entertained and loved on during our absence. We will definitely be using her again in the future...actually, next weekend. :)”

“Katie stepped in on very short notice to care for Petunia for three days, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. It's clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. I would definitely book with Katie again and highly recommend her to other pet parents!”
“First time doing a house sitter for our cat and Alexis was so great!! Very communicative, sent lots of photo/video, asked very appropriate questions to help with the house that we didn’t think to ask about. Very helpful in upkeeping the house in addition to caring for our cat. Would book again!!”

“Bonnie took excellent care of my cat Fish! It's clear she has lots of love and patience for cats. She was able to get Fish to warm up to her after a couples days and even got some snuggles towards the end of the sit, which says of a lot since Fish is pretty shy with new people. I came home to a very happy kitty and clean home. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out again the next time I need pet care.”

“Caitlin was wonderful ! Very responsive and responsible with our two viszla’s that need a lot of love! House looked amazing as well! We loved Caitlin and will employ her again.”
“We were so lucky to find Sayvanna! Our dogs took to her right away and even our cats came out of hiding to socialize with her. Everything went perfectly and we returned home to very happy animals. Hope to use Sayvanna again in the future when the time arises! Thank you so much.”

About: I have had dogs my entire life and can't imagine life without them! Most of mine were rescues but I have a heart for all (also including cats, horses, donkeys, chickens). My 14-year-old hound mix Charlie crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few years and while he took a little bit of my heart with him, I really miss being with and caring for animals again. I have filled this need with pet sitting and volunteering at equine rescues and equine-assisted therapy non profits. If you want your big and little ones treated and loved just as you would do, I’m here. I’m a baby-on-the-sofa, next-to-me-in-bed kind of pet carer — and I’m happy to follow your rules if that means floors and crates (there’s still plenty of opportunity for love and affection). We will walk, play, snuggle and be as active as your pet needs. We can do car rides and doggy parks, visit friends, have play dates, go for puppucinos. I’m flexible, open, and want only for your pets to be as happy with me as they are when you’re home. I’m what I always looked for in my extensive use of pet sitters: dependable, committed, at home most of the time, and a true animal lover. I’m happy to administer meds as needed, have cared for my own senior dogs with limitations (deaf, dementia, physical limitations, hospice). I will not only care for your fur family as I would my own (which means a whole lotta of love, interaction, play, and attention), but I will care for your home in the same manner. I’m all grown up, mature, responsible, and reliable and have been a homeowner for years. Your home will be clean and maintained, ready for your return, and your pets will be cared for and happy to see you. I have been fortunate to have had at-home pet sitters who were superb. That’s what I wish to offer to someone else and their fur babies. Peace of mind, certainty that all is well, and confidence that their pets are safe, sound, and happy. I am retired from Emory University, so I am readily available. What Susan would like to know about your pet? Please let me know feeding habits, amounts, times. Normal bed/wake-up times. In and out times. Walking preferences, favorite toys, favorite activities. If there’s anything that scares or worries your pet, tell me. Medical history, let me know. Additional Skills Oral Medication Administration Special Needs Dog Experience Senior Dog Experience Cat care-also chickens and birds Can provide daily exercise. I am soon to be retired, work at home part-time and am finally fulfilling my passions-pet sitting, equine rescue volunteering and just bumming around. What could be better-dogs, horses and retirement? Your pet’s usual day is my day. Sleep late or not. Go for multiple brisk or leisurely (sniffing time!) walks. Lounge around at home or go for rides or to the doggy park. I’m flexible, open, and want only to make your little ones as happy as they can be without you.
About: I’ve had two different dogs in my family since I was born. I have been responsible for feeding and cleaning up after my most recent dog. I graduated from the University of Denver and have spent 2+ months in the last year staying overnight to care for clients’ pets and homes. I am young and in fairly good shape, so I can run with dogs if requested! I have experience walking not only my dog, but various friends’ dogs. I get along well with all kinds of animals, but I am most familiar with dogs. Both of my family’s pets have been medium sized dogs, but I have done some dog sitting for both larger and smaller breeds. These span from Shih Tzu to Pitbulls to full sized Poodles. I can’t wait to meet your four legged friends!! I am looking for a furry friend to join me on my after class walks! I typically walk 1.5-3 miles, so hopefully your pup will be tired out I make sure when I come in that there is enough water and/or food in the bowl, then promptly take them outside. I will make sure all doors are completely shut before leaving those sneaky dogs alone!
“My puppy was well cared for and even got to enjoy some awesome extra adventures at parks! Laura understood my puppy’s needs as she works on her reactivity to other dogs and was understanding and accommodating!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for a long time! I’ve taken care of small dogs, BIG dogs, moody cats, and dogs with medical care needs. I’m currently enrolled at UW for graduate school (go Huskies!) My program is classified as a “professional” program so most of my courses will take place in the evenings. I’m free during the day to help out with your pet needs! My cats are royalty at home. They both drink out of a water fountain, have a chip activated feeder, and eat food that is, frankly, bankrupting me. I only want the best for my fur-babies and I will treat your pets as if they were my own.
“I have a very shy and nervous dog, and Kayleen had wonderful instincts with her. Within a couple hours (after I'd left), Mags was snuggling up with her and after a few days they were best buds. I will have her over again!”

About: My love for animals started when I was a little girl. Animals have always been my go to for happiness comfort and love. Meeting new animals always brings me joy. I understand the trust and responsibility that comes with taking care of someone's fur babies. I'm an open book I'm currently going to school online so I have a completely flexible schedule and can't wait for this new venture in my life I prefer not to care for animals in my own home. I have an older relative that's very particular about his house and doesn't allow pets

About: Since being on my own, I have had some fur baby in my life. Both puppies and elders will be well loved here. We have a deep relationship with our own animals. All are fully vaccinated and attend their annual health checks. We also love on them when they ask us to, meeting their mental health needs as well. Husband is still working from home with no return to the office in sight. And we are a currently a multi-generational home. There will always be some human here to care for your furry family member. We have a huge, secure, fenced backyard and two dogs of our own. Your pup will be well exercised here and will come home exhausted (and maybe a little dirty). We also love cuddling with our fur babies, and will welcome any (reasonably sized) dogs onto our bed if that is where they feel comfortable, or we have room for a crate or any dog bed you want to bring. We feed our pooches 3x a day. But we find that most guests have a 2x per day routine, and will continue to hold your home routine. We also give oral medication to one of our pups, once a day.
