About: I grew up in a household full of cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and fish. My first pet as a wee one was a Tarantula name Suzie. Since moving to Whidbey Island 11 years ago I have worked professionally to care for animals on a number of levels from Dog Runner to Veterinarian Technician. Though I don't have any fur-babies currently, my husband and I heartbreakingly lost our two beloved fur-kids to cancer since moving here - a Husky mix and a Pitbull mix, I still find joy in caring for others' pets. From cuddles & cookies (if diet allows) to exercise & basic training (if warranted and wanted) I am here for you and your beloved pet. I can also administer medications if needed. About: My mother has always been the friend that would take care of everyone's dog or cat ever since I was little. So, I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and learned how to take care of many different breeds, ages and personalities. Once I got my license, my friend's and family friend's entrusted me with taking care of their dogs at their home and had many experiences of house sitting with them. About: I have worked with shelter dogs for about six years and I have had quite a bit of training on dog behavior, handling, and socializing. My past shelter job required me to become SAFER certified in order to do behavior assessments on dogs coming in. I have worked with hundreds of dogs with a wide variety of behavior issues. As the dog care lead for my last shelter I oversaw the care of up to 120 dogs at a time. Part of the dogs care included medicating, I am familiar with many common health issues and medications and am comfortable administering all forms of medications. I have one small dog of my own, a neutered male that likes other dogs. Right now I am only looking for like sized dogs male or female (20 pounds and under) or very calm bigger dogs to babysit. I live on a small dahlia farm - about two acres, unfenced. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in bed but you can provide their bedding if you think they’d prefer it. While our house is being built we live in a 2 bedroom “mother in law”. It is small so not ideal for active bigger dogs right now. I only sit one dog at a time, unless the dogs come from the same household or they are known friends and okayed by both families. I have a small dahlia farm so I work from home! I have free range chickens and one senior dog. My typical day revolves around taking care of the animals and flowers. Right now our yard isn’t fenced but it’s a summer goal! I take the dogs for a walk in the morning and then out for potty breaks every couple hours after that.

My routine is easy-drop them off, and I'll handle the rest. I can even transport them if you need help with that. I have a large, dog park-sized yard that is fenced. If your dog isn't an escape artist, they will be fine here. Lot of room to run and play. :) I can always walk them or be with them when outside should you prefer that. I have a 6yo large dog who loves other dogs and will enjoy company. Dogs at my house can be on the furniture or the bed, or crated as you desire. About: Ive grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. I work a full time Monday- friday job but on my lunches I can stop by for check ins and walks and after work as well. Weekends are always open too. I have wide open availability. We provide dog walks, overnights, drop-ins, and all other services. We're available to do any length of time bookings as well! And are constantly available to meet your animals needs! We have a beautiful neighborhood that offers plenty of enjoyment and room to roam! We also have a neighborhood fully fenced dog park 5 minutes walking distance from our home. We are very outdoorsy as well and enjoy long dog walks to our local beach and park.

About: I have been taking care of dogs my whole life! I have experience working at a doggy daycare where I cared for dogs of all different sizes, energy levels, temperaments, and special care needs. Since then, I’ve regularly cared for pets for friends, family, and military coworkers. I am comfortable working with puppies, senior dogs, high energy breeds, and dogs that need a little extra patience. I have experience administering medications, following feeding schedules, and making sure every dogs gets plenty of exercise and attention. I also have experience looking after cats, hamsters, gerbils, and rats. I’m happy to follow detailed care instructions to make sure every pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I am currently a stay at home mom with a flexible schedule and plenty of free time! Your fur baby will receive plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks! I can stick to your dogs normal routine and of course provide updates and photos throughout their stay. Whether your pet is energetic or prefers a more relaxed environment, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. Nothing is more important to me than your pets safety and happiness. I have a fully fenced in backyard for safe playtime, and two friendly, well socialized dogs who love making new friends! I always supervise introductions, closely monitor playtime, and can separate pets if needed to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. I’ll follow your pets feeding schedule, and medication instructions, and of course any special care instructions to ensure they feel right at home! I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family!

“Sheena took great care of our 4-month old puppy and 4-year old Moodle. We did a meet and greet and our nervous puppy liked her immediately. During our trip, we got pictures and updates whenever we asked for them as Sheena responded quickly. When we picked them up, we got a full report of everything they did with a wonderful update on eating, playing, pooping, etc. Sheena is very experienced and provided dog and child socialization for our puppy in a safe and structured environment. The pups came home tired, well-behaved, and very happy. As a bonus, we paid Sheena to do a little nail trimming since she is a professional groomer as well. Highly recommend Sheena and we will certainly be back!”
“This was our first time using Rover to find a sitter for our dog, Apollo. Tyler was the best person we could have asked for. He was super communicative ahead of time, was sending us plenty of updates while we were gone, and sent lots of photos. He also took Apollo on plenty of walks in some nice areas in Bothell.
