About: My mother has always been the friend that would take care of everyone's dog or cat ever since I was little. So, I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and learned how to take care of many different breeds, ages and personalities. Once I got my license, my friend's and family friend's entrusted me with taking care of their dogs at their home and had many experiences of house sitting with them. Before joining Rover, I was an employee through the Fetch! dog walking and pet care agency over the summer of 2025. I had my own clientele for which I would walk their dogs' multiple times a week. I also provided extended stays for house sitting in which I frequently took care of multiple dogs at once. About: I have worked with shelter dogs for about six years and I have had quite a bit of training on dog behavior, handling, and socializing. My past shelter job required me to become SAFER certified in order to do behavior assessments on dogs coming in. I have worked with hundreds of dogs with a wide variety of behavior issues. As the dog care lead for my last shelter I oversaw the care of up to 120 dogs at a time. Part of the dogs care included medicating, I am familiar with many common health issues and medications and am comfortable administering all forms of medications. I have one small dog of my own, a neutered male that likes other dogs. Right now I am only looking for like sized dogs male or female (20 pounds and under) or very calm bigger dogs to babysit. I live on a small dahlia farm - about two acres, unfenced. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in bed but you can provide their bedding if you think they’d prefer it. While our house is being built we live in a 2 bedroom “mother in law”. It is small so not ideal for active bigger dogs right now. I only sit one dog at a time, unless the dogs come from the same household or they are known friends and okayed by both families. I have a small dahlia farm so I work from home! I have free range chickens and one senior dog. My typical day revolves around taking care of the animals and flowers. Right now our yard isn’t fenced but it’s a summer goal! I take the dogs for a walk in the morning and then out for potty breaks every couple hours after that.

I have excellent dog training skills, having trained my dogs over the years. I've also cared for senior dogs with special needs. Here for you and your babies and will make sure they get all the love and attention. 😍 I'm currently working PT from home, so I'll be able to keep your pet safe and will be home for them all day (unless I need to run an errand or something). My routine is easy-drop them off, and I'll handle the rest. I can even transport them if you need help with that. I have a large, dog park-sized yard that is fenced. If your dog isn't an escape artist, they will be fine here. Lot of room to run and play. :) I can always walk them or be with them when outside should you prefer that. I have a 6yo large dog who loves other dogs and will enjoy company. Dogs at my house can be on the furniture or the bed, or crated as you desire. I know what it is like to leave your baby, so I am happy to care for them in any way you'd like. About: I have taken care of my own pets and those of friends and family when they go on vacation etc. i have all sorts of expiration e from sick animals to healthy ones and old dogs to puppies. I also love cats and kittens. I find it relaxing to play with animals! I currently have two cars and a dog of my own! About: Ive grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. I work a full time Monday- friday job but on my lunches I can stop by for check ins and walks and after work as well. Weekends are always open too. “We absolutely adore Micheal, and our pup was so happy either her 3 day stay. Not only did she have plenty of outdoor time, but she was treated like a princess indoors too. She got plenty of play with other dogs and came back totally worn out (in a good way). Mushka is a pretty anxious dog overall and we typically give her trazodone when traveling or boarding her, however during her stay with Michael she didn’t need it at all. We are looking forward to her next “vacation” and I’m sure she is too!”

“Cooper had his first visit with Izzy yesterday and it was a success. Cooper is a bit of a momma/daddies boy and typically does take kindly to other people taking his leash and walking away from us. I had some trepidation about how that would go. But Izzy is a professional and it was very no nonsense. The exchange was quick and it was done before Cooper really knew what was happening. That it made it so much easier for me to drive away knowing he wasn't in distress. She sent us several pictures throughout the day to show us that he was fine and having a good time. That made my day so much more enjoyable.”
“Katie cared for out terrier-mix overnight. Her report was that he was looking for us for an hour post our leaving But then Kate's children started playing with Teddy and his mind switched to having fun. I like that there was a lot of human to dog interaction. Katie sent some photos of Teddy. She did a good job of caring for Teddy.”
