“Toni swooped in at the last minute when another Sitter backed out on me! During the meet and greet, she got right down on the floor with Pucca to meet her and play with her. Pucca absolutely loves her! I could tell by the way Pucca got majorly excited and happy when Toni came back for a visit today to pick up a couple of things that were accidentally left behind. Pucca was so happy to see her that I'm convinced she was treated well and with love and affection. I was away for 8 days. Toni arrived on time and I was able to get an early visit start so that I could make it to the airport on time. When my friend's truck broke down and I thought I may be later than expected arriving home, she had no problem with it. (I was on time though). She even said she didn't mind taking Pucca to my Vet to get her Citopoint shot and glands done. (I was going to get an appointment when I got home, now I don't have to). With my permission, she took Pucca along with her to her place when she went home to do laundry. When I asked for a Video Chat here and there, I was accommodated. It is my opinion that Pucca was well loved, cared for and looked after while I was away. ***NOTE*** Upon my return, I found a typwritten "Toni's Care Notes for Pucca" stating her eating habits, walk schedule & health. Nice touch.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that caring for animals has always been a normal part of my life. I grew up around animals and have experience caring for dogs of many ages and personalities, including energetic puppies and older dogs who need a slower pace and extra attention. I'm comfortable with the routines that come with good pet care: consistent feeding schedules, exercise, basic training reinforcement, and paying attention to changes in behavior that might mean a dog needs something. I have experience helping with puppy training basics life patience during walks, reinforcing commands, and keeping them mentally stimulated. I also understand that senior dogs sometimes need gentler exercise, more frequent bathroom breaks, and extra patience. In addition to dogs, I have experience working with animals in a farm environment, which taught me responsibility, consistency, and how important it is to pay attention to an animal's needs and body language. Because of that background, I'm calm, reliable, and comfortable around animals with different temperaments. Most importantly, I treat every pet like they're my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your animal with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. Pet care has always been a natural part of my daily life. I enjoy spending time outdoors walking dogs, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. As a college student, I plan my schedule carefully, which allows me to stay organized and consistent with feeding times, walks, and check-ins. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, and spending time with them is something I look forward to throughout the week. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I make sure pets are always supervised, comfortable, and kept in a calm environment where they feel secure. In a client's home, I carefully follow the pet's normal routine for feeding, walks, medications, and playtime so they experience as little disruption as possible. I also pay close attention to behavior and body language to make sure pets are feeling safe and happy. I respect my clients' homes and keep spaces clean, secure doors and gates, and communicate regularly with updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are being well cared for.

“Colton house sat and took care of our 2 dogs for 5 days while we were out of state. It was a very last minute booking and he was very flexible and prompt. I was very impressed with how willing he was to make things work and easier for us. He not only showed up on time for our meet and greet but was actually early! We had a change in our departure plans from the night before at 6p.m to instead the morning of at 5 a.m and he without any hesitation was ok with that and was here at the agreed time of 4a.m. We have 1 senior dog that needs medicine nightly and has major anxiety and our other dog who has IBD and allergic to so many things and also has a very strict diet. Even a crumb on the floor would set her into a major flare up if she got it so that was a concern for us. He was definitely very careful because she never once got sick. He clearly eased their anxiety with us being gone because there was no damage done by them in the house. He followed all the instructions/restrictions for them and did a fantastic job. Any questions he had he reached out to us which was great because there were a couple little things that I forgot to mention (like no dogs on the furniture) and he asked us first rather than just assuming. Not only did he take care of our house and dogs he even fed and gave water to the outside cat that has chosen to adopted us. Taking care of a cat wasn't in the booking but he did it anyway out of the goodness of his heart. He was very transparent with us, respectful and the communication was great. I was not exactly looking forward to having to clean the house after getting home from our trip and having 2 dogs that shed like no other. However I didn't have to because the house was COMPLETELY spotless! I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciated that on top of everything else! Colton is so awesome and next time we go on a trip without the dogs he will be the first person we reach out to!”
