“Sadie has a cheerful personality and was very attentive towards our small dog. Very reliable; always came within our agreed time window and called 15 minutes before as promised. When some loose calves mashed down the dog enclosure in the backyard she put it back up so my wife could let Sweet Pea out during the day. Will definitely book Sadie again in future.”

About: I have experience with various different types of animals including cats, and dogs. I love how special and unique each animal is and I love to get to know them and getting to know their personalities. I am working full time and going to school I typically don't work mornings and a couple days during the week I am off and I can stop by and check on them throughout the week. I do anything and everything I can do to take the best care of them, and I always make their health top priority. And treat them like royalty and babies
“Samantha was great! Super easy to work with and flexible. We reached out with little notice and she was able to fit us in her schedule. She kept in great contact and was very responsive. Thank you again!”

About: My earliest memories are of playing with dogs. As an adult I love my kitties and will care for any furry, scaley or feathered friends. Every day I care for my dog and 4 cats. The trip to the nearby park is a routine where I find refuge. I have flexibility with my work schedule and can make most times fit. I have a fenced yard where pets can roam free without fear of antagonism or being set loose in the neighborhood. I give each memeber of the clan daily attention and individual care.
About: I have always loved dogs and taking care of my family dog or the dogs of extended family and friends. We got my family dog 10 years ago and I have loved to teach him tricks and take care of him ever since! I have worked with older dogs and dogs with special health needs and love learning what makes every dog unique. I am currently in between semesters at school and have a lot of free time during the day while my husband works. I can come check-in or take your pet out whenever works best for you! My husband and I aren't allowed to have any animals in our home due to our current housing contract but I love to have a furry friend to explore all of the outdoor adventures here in cache valley! I am happy to adjust to your pets needs whether your dog loves neighborhood paths or trails in the mountains!
About: I’ve been an animal lover since I could walk and have owned and cared for a wide variety of animals my whole life. I’m currently a stay at home mom to three daughters so my schedule is pretty open and I can make most times and days work, I’d be happy to work with your schedule! I currently own a dog, tortoise, hamster, snake and fish and work hard to meet their needs in every way while also teaching my daughters the importance of care and respect for pets. I’m the go to for a lot of my friends and family when it comes to pet care and have been hired to care for dogs, cats, birds, snakes and rabbits.

About: “Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Everyone who knows me knows how much I love them and how well I care for my own. I treat every pet like they’re part of my family — with patience, kindness, and genuine attention to what makes them feel safe and happy.” “Pet care fits easily into my day because it’s something I’m already doing! I start and end my day with animals — walks, feeding, playtime, and quiet time. I enjoy being around pets and giving them attention throughout the day, so adding a few more paws just makes it better.”I'm currently unemployed and so I have a lot of free time to spend with the thing I love most. I have a fence yard. When I feed my dogs their food I put extra additives to help promote their health and so they are not eating the same old thing everyday. I'm always giving fresh water to them. I just try to think if I was an animal what would I like. I want their short life to be good.

I love volunteering at the animal shelter while I'm unable to have pets due to my apartment. I can promise to give your pets almost as much love as you do! I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to play with and care for your dog or cat! If I have enough notice (around 3-5 days) ahead of time, I can make most arrangements work! You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
