About: When I was in middle school, my science teacher went to the Philippines for the whole summer. I took care of her mices, dogs, guinea pigs and more. Growing up in Iowa, I have been around many animals including dogs. Also I have had friends who traveled to Europe and they had to leave their poodles, black labs and many more and trusted their dogs in my care at their home for a month or two weeks if needed when I lived in Washington state before moving to Honeoye Falls. When I dog sat, I made sure I gave medicine as instructed to the dogs as needed. I played with them, took them hiking, the beach, cuddled on the couch and learned about what they liked and don’t like and what makes them happy. I made sure that their owners were happy as well. When I was asked to come and dog sit again, the dogs would be waiting at the window waiting for my arrival. These dogs were sure happy to see me when I came back to dog sit them! I have lots of experience with dogs of almost every single breed, temperament, and size. I am also very experienced in basic first aid, and totally comfortable working with special needs animals. I am currently in school with pretty open availability during the weekdays, and full availability on weekends/all nights. Starting in May, I will have 100% availability for dog sitting! I have a large unfenced yard, as well as many close walking trails. There are currently no other animals in the home, and there is a safe private room available for emergencies in addition to full range of the house. There are stairs in my home, but I have gates to install if there are any senior animals who don’t do well with stairs!

I even helped my grandmas dog birth 11 healthy pups and raised them for 3 months!! “Emma is my son's girlfriend and has spent a lot of time in our home. We had a dog and two cats and then she and my son got a puppy Nala. Emma is loving, caring, and responsible with people and pets. She will drop what she's doing to help. I could always count her when I went out of town to take care of the animals. She trained Nala almost all on her own. She also was with Nala when she delivered her 11 puppies. She cared for Nala and the puppies the entire time and ensured the puppies all went to good homes. She bathes Nala, which is not easy, and has become really good at clipping her nails, also not easy. She had a key to our home because she is very trustworthy and honest. Lights were always off, doors were always locked. Anyone would be blessed to have Emma care for their animals. You would not have to worry about a thing.”
