“Remi is an anxious dog, but after this boarding experience, I noticed a big difference. He was much calmer when I picked him up, and it did not take him days to de stress like usual. When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”

Growing up in Iowa, I have been around many animals including dogs. Also I have had friends who traveled to Europe and they had to leave their poodles, black labs and many more and trusted their dogs in my care at their home for a month or two weeks if needed when I lived in Washington state before moving to Honeoye Falls. About: I’m a 33 year old retired dog groomer and ran large grooming salons in the Pittsburgh area as well as here in New York for a total of 10 years. Was also a kennel boarding assistant as well as a vet assistant for a mobile vaccine clinic serving Niagara Falls, Watertown, Rochester and other areas. I have had everything from chihuahuas to Rottweilers and pit bulls. I treat pets like my children and love all shapes and sizes and able to provide medication as well as any other special need requests. I know basic first aid but I do not have pet CPR certification. I also have plenty of references and client feedback if needed to ensure you get the care your pet needs and deserves. I have an open schedule so if you need times outside of my availability please message me and I may be able to work with your schedule! I treat all pets as if they're my own so plenty of love and attention any special requests will also be taken seriously. I'll make sure your pets receive the best care possible!

He recognizes the age and stage of my dog and adapts to keep him entertained, and rested. He updates me without asking, and includes daily photos/videos of their activities - including bacon bubbles🙂 Jeffery even takes the time to leave you with a "report card". Brief notes to let you know how your pet did with eating, potty breaks, playing with others and so on. Just a nice extra touch. We'll be back!”

About: I grew up with a great dane, and then my family adopted 3 dogs of different sizes after that. I’ve been surrounded by, and taken care of dogs my entire life growing up in Rochester. I have worked for local dog daycare and boarding facilities as well. My location provides a good place to socialize with other dogs as well if needed, just minutes from several parks and open land. A fIexible schedule allows me to work with people to meet their specific needs, and take the necessary time to be thorough. I enjoy the process of working with dogs and understanding their personality. I use positive reinforcement techniques to reward behavior and maximize dog comfort. I currently work afternoons, and am a night owl. I spend my mornings drinking coffee or walking dogs, and evenings helping friends with pet care who work late nights in health care, law enforcement, etc. While I cannot board dogs overnight in my apartment building, I have experience boarding within owners homes. I know the stress of finding a private care provider, and offer meet and greet beforehand to make sure pet parents feel at ease. I also provide normal drop in walking/care while owner is away.
