About: I have had animals my entire life! Mostly dogs that have lived well into their teens, but also cats. Most recently I had my dog Bella for over 12 years and the last 3 we traveled the country try between Seattle and Miami by car. She unfortunately passed due to cancer and not ready to own an animal, but still love having them around . I am great at playing with animals to keep them engaged and teaching commands. I also can accommodate animals to their needs if they need medicine or special assistance. I work from home for an agency based in Canada. This means that your animal wouldn’t need to be locked up all day if they stay at my house my flexible schedule also also allows me to add walks in the day and play time so your dog isn’t in a crate all day. I also have a yard big enough for throwing sticks for added fun! I do have a fenced in yard that would allow for your dog to run around. I also wouldn’t mind going to someone’s house if I needed to as well as I am mobile.

“Isabella is fantastic! She wrote great daily updates and sent lots of photos of my 2 cats. It was great that she has had cats and understood how shy they can be and it was nice to see how they warmed up to her over my abscense! I would highly recommend her!”

“We booked Taylor again and plan to continue to book her when we need a sitter for our dogs. She is great with them and we appreciate her thorough updates. It’s hard to leave them behind when we’re out of town, but we know they are in good hands. Thank you (again), Taylor!”

“Leanne was great with our dogs. I was a first time Rover user and I was super nervous. Leanne took a lot of time to go over things with us and re assured us. I will 100% be using her services again. We didn’t know Leanne before this, but I’m going to give her credit where credit is due! Thanks LeAnne!”

About: As cliche as it sounds, taking care of pets isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. Since I was little, I’ve been surrounded by animals of all kinds – from snakes, hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens, and dogs of all sizes, to fish and cats, including elderly pets.🐶🐍🐰🐢🐱 I’ve been there for potty training, administering medication, grooming, scheduled feedings, and maintaining teeth hygiene. To me, animals are pure and down-to-earth, and deserve the same respect ❤️ I don’t do this just for the money – I do it because I genuinely care about animals. I’ve heard too many sad stories about boarding pets somewhere, not getting the care they deserve, and the excessive costs involved, and I want to change that. This home is as much theirs as it is mine. I offer a six-foot fully gated yard, big enough for several animals to bask in the sun or play with toys.🌤️ I have several dog beds (and furniture) with enough space to care for your babies. Even the smaller critters or pets that aren’t cats and dogs! I recently used Rover myself and was initially skeptical, worried, and just overall leery about the situation. 😅But it turned out to be a wonderful experience, and now I want others to have the same peace of mind and enjoyment. I want pet owners to feel confident that their animals are in good hands so they can truly relax and enjoy their own vacation, knowing their pets are having a great time too.☺️ And if I could, I’d give myself five out of five stars, rated highly by Forbes ⭐️for providing top notch safety and security to help ease your pet’s separation from you while you’re away. Don’t hesitate to text me on any questions, concerns, or just to chat about your pets. It’s a big decision to make who you can trust your animals with, and I am happy to help 🫶 The question is how do I fit pet care into my routine- but I don’t “fit it” into my routine. I follow my animals routine, and what they need to be their best self. I am make it a priority on managing potty breaks, feedings, treats, and everything in between. It especially helps that I am home most of my days, and wouldn’t mind more company ☺️ It’s not that I just want to “provide care.” I feel like anyone could do that, but it’s more of bonding with that animal. It’s learning their needs, routine, and having patience with them. My goal is for them to not view me as a complete stranger, and more as a good friend to have 💕With that being said- I would love to take your dog on a walk, feed them, grooming, playing, and giving all the love they deserve! If there is good communication and understanding, I would be happy to help with proper medication or medical needs as well 🩷

About: I have experience with deaf, senior and reactive dogs as well as cats. I fostered and trained for Blue River Pet Rescue and have taken dog safety courses with Nebraska Humane Society. I know what it's like to have a scared or sick dog and I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for them when you can't. I am no stranger to a special needs dog and I want to be that person for you and your pet when you need me. My own dog, who passed in April 2025, had CHF and I could barely stand to let him out of my sight. I was lucky that the people who fostered him offered to watch him when needed. Without them, I'm not sure how I would've found someone I could really trust to be patient and kind to him. Now that he's gone, I want to be able to be that person for others. I work completely remote, so I am always home, giving me a great opportunity to care for special needs animals or just animals in general. I work Mon-Fri, 12-8 and weekends are usually free. I live close to a dog park that I took my previous foster to every day and have a nice neighborhood for walks. I have a yard (not fully fenced in) with a tie out leash, though I go outside often and would never leave your pet alone. I got the tie out recently for my foster to help her with separation anxiety but would walk around the yard and area with my own dog for a few minutes every hour or so. I have lots of toys and keep a pet water fountain running at all times. I keep a couple of dog beds throughout the house, so there is always somewhere soft and comfortable to lay down, whether they want to stay close by or would prefer some space. My house is their house while they're here. Besides the trash cans, they are welcome to explore.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm so I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and I absolutely adore them! I have tons of animal experience outside of growing up on a farm such as dog sitting, kennel work, and veterinary assisting. I’m currently a full-time student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln but with my schedule I should have plenty of time in the afternoons to check in on your pets. I’m also free on most weekends to stop by whenever you need. I can easily adapt to whatever rules and/or expectations you have. I can crate or kennels dogs, take them outside, take them on walks, play with them, feed and water them, etc.

About: My love of animals led me to start volunteering at a veterinarian‘s office giving baths and cleaning cages when I was 15. I have fostered dogs (of all ages, sizes and breeds) and cats (mostly kittens) for animal rescues. I volunteered at a large animal rescue helping with horses, goats, donkeys, and cows. I have a passion for animals! Personally, I have had Guinea pigs, chickens, cats, dogs, fish, and a horse. Currently I have a pug, a cat, and a very lazy guinea pig. I have a nice big fenced in backyard for off leash playtime and a good neighborhood/trails for longer walks. I have two children who have grown up around all manner of animals and enjoy interacting and playing with dogs and cats in particular. I work a 8-5 job Monday through Thursday. Fridays are a short day for me so I’m able to take boarders starting Thursday evenings. Friday they’d be alone for 6 hours at the longest. Saturday and Sunday they would only be left for a couple hours at the most as I am home during the weekends. I have a large fenced yard with a tall fence. My cat is acclimated to dogs and does well with other cats. My kids have always had animals in their life and know how to interact with new animals appropriately.

“Mikaela had stepped in and helped me with letting my two dogs out when I lost my regular person. We had a meet and greet at the dog park before the service began and another one at the house. She is very responsible and reliable, plus the pups love her.”

About: I have taken care of animals since i was a little kid. I grew up on a farm so have been around animals my whole life. Now as I have gotten older, I am a certified dog mom :) I currently have 2 labs of my own, Johnny and June. We love being outside and running off energy. This could include playing in the big fenced in back yard, going to the dog park or even swimming out at the lake. Since I have no children of my own, my dogs are my children and are treated as such. They pretty much rule the house and what they want usually goes. They have more toys than they know what to do with and know by just giving me the puppy eyes they can get a treat. They love having their furry friends come over to play or to spend the night. I do have experience in caring for dogs from puppies all the way up to senior age. My last lab was 13 years old when he passed away last summer and needed a lot of extra care and patience to ensure that he was comfortable. I currently do work full-time but have a pretty flexible schedule. I am able to work from home at least 1 day a week and those days I am not at home, I am able to come home to give potty breaks and to run off some energy. While I am at work my dogs are in their kennels with lots of toys and their special blankets. They are both puppies still so free roam hasnt happened quite yet, despite our attempts. Too many things to get into and chew on while mom is gone :) On the weekends, 9 times out of 10 they are spent just being at home and spending time with the dogs. If it is nice we may go on little adventures but there is very little kennel time. I am looking to provide care for pets in my home. I have a very large fenced-in backyard that my two enjoy playing in. When I am home, most of their time is spent outside. I do have a bunch of toys for them to play with and also a baby pool to swim in when it is hot. When I am gone I do kennel my dogs and would prefer to be able to kennel visitors as well.

“Kelsey was awesome! She came over to meet everyone before the day we were gone, which helped us feel better about leaving them. She sent us pictures and let us know how it went. Our pets were in good hands and we will definitely use her again!”

About: I have met so many dogs with many different personalities and have yet to find one I don’t like. Big, small, energetic, lazy… you name it and i’ve worked with them all. I go on walks daily, so Rover allows me to enjoy these walks with a fellow companion! My schedule is irregular due to being a D1 athlete, but I prioritize fitting this into my days. My goal is to meet all of the dogs needs and make sure the pet feels as comfortable as possible. I’m very patient with new dogs and understand they are unfamiliar with me.
