About: I grew up with a dog when I was really little. Growing up I dog sat and walked for my neighbors many times. Led me to be an all around animal lover, which is why I am an environmental studies major at VCU. Currently as college student at VCU(one class everyday Monday-Thursday), my weekends are usually open all day. I am used to waking up early but also very flexible. I like to take note of small habit and dos and don’ts to look back and be thorough in pet care. I am well versed in what dangerous for pets as I grew up with pets and have lived with both cats and dogs.
About: Hi! I’m Gabby! I have been pet sitting since my elementary school days, but I have also consistently grown up in a home with both cats and dogs! I have a very flexible schedule making it easy to stay on your pups/kitties routines! I love all animals big and small, and have confidence in being a suitable sitter for you! I am a college student and am off for the summer, but typically take most of my classes on line. Because of this, I am very flexible and have lots of free time during the week! My schedule can easily be worked around your pets schedule/needs! As i have 5 dogs and 4 cats in my home, I do not offer services in my home. About: I have had a dog around my house ever since I was a child. I have been trusted to watch family friends dogs for years and have also spent a year and a half working at a dog daycare. I am used to watching puppies as well and I also have a little experience training dogs to sit and do other basic commands. I currently work fully remote at my apartment. I am able to take your dog out multiple times a day and even have parks near by that I would be able to take them to to get some energy out. They have my full attention throughout the day! I have 1 super friendly lab that loves play time with other pups. So, if your pup comes over to stay, I am sure they would become best friends! If need be, I would be happy to watch your pup in your home as well! I am quite experience in house/dog sitting and have done it for quite some time.
About: I’ve taken care of friends’ dogs for years! I love meeting new dogs and creating bonds with them. At home, I have a senior dog who requires some extra care so am able to provide the same for your dog. I’m currently applying for jobs, so I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets! Aside from the basics of caring for your pet (feeding, water, walks, etc), I will spend some extra time playing and petting as needed to make sure they feel safe and happy!

About: I've owned dogs, cats & horses my entire life. I currently have 2 rescue dogs, 2 cats and a horse that are all treated like human children. I'm familiar with both young and elderly animals that require medical assistance. I work from home in Glen Allen. I have a flexible schedule and can check on your pet during the day and before/after work. I am comfortable with walking all dogs, crating dogs, working on commands and especially providing love and treats if desired! Happy to also prepare lick mats or other stimulation while you're away.

Eddie is a Godsend and drops by to see my dog 3 times a week. He's not only reliable, but I've also found that my dog behaves differently with me now that I let her in and out the back door. Eddie is well-versed in working with dogs, and his expectations for her behavior show up in my daily interactions with her. She's very high-energy (and a complete spazz), but I have noticed her behavior improve when I let her in and out to do her business in the backyard. She's consistent now and will sit for me after she comes back in. I can tell he's been working with her, and I'm very grateful for the help, including letting her out to use the restroom (which I needed and asked for).
Erin is so great with my animals. She does the full 30 min I ask for, is attentive to all needs, and is very responsive to messages. She has a good knowledge of pets in general and this puts me at ease knowing my pets are in her care. When I cannot respond as I cant always get to my phone when she has questions, she makes good judgment calls. I feel comfortable with her in my home and thats has been a huge blessing to my schedule and work schedule. Hire this girl!!
She is amazing with my Doberman and Shepard mix girl. They love her to death, which my two can be a bit picky. Krista goes above and beyond “just” walking the dog. She has brought in a few packages for me and even cleaned up a poo in the house they were so nice to leave. I never doubt for a second when she’s with them that they are happy and healthy. Plus to have someone trustworthy come in your home means the world. Highly recommend.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
