When I was in high school, I used to pet sit for anyone that needed assistance with their pets. I worked on a farm for four years during which time I took care of the horses, chickens, dogs, and cats. I worked at a pet store for a year and a half in college during which time I gained experience with reptiles, birds, small animals, and fish. I was a single pet parent for six years to two cats and for the last two years, my pup Olive. I raised Olive mostly on my own and trained her by myself. Whenever friends ask me to care for their pets, I take care of them like I’m taking care of my own pets. I have a huge passion for animals, they make the world a better place. My dog has anxiety around people so I have experience handling her quirks. I have worked with a specialist to manage symptoms and made the commitment in September 2024 to put her onto Prozac which has really helped.
