About: Hi there! I have loved dogs since I was a toddler. My experience ranges from owning my own dog, fostering a fear-aggressive rescue, working as a veterinary assistant/kennel attendant, working at an animal shelter and walking/boarding/babysitting many furry friends. I am also a KPA-CTP trainer. Check out my reviews from past clients! I am always happy to meet up before hand to introduce myself and my own pup to your friend before any services. During all of my services, I make sure enrichment, training, safety and, of course, fun, are key components. Reach out, I’d love to meet your four-legged family member :) I am currently on sabbatical from my job working at an animal shelter for the summer. I am available every day and have a very flexible schedule. I am experienced with dogs and cats of all temperaments. Stranger danger, reactivity, and other behavioral problems are something I’ve dealt with regularly. My top priority is always safety and making sure the animal experiences as little stress as possible.

“Christen was flexible/accommodating when the timing of our plans changes slightly. She was communicative with updates during her visits and our dog was clearly well taken care of and enjoyed her time with Christen. She was completely calm/at ease when we returned home. We'd definitely have Christen back to look after Claire again.”

“Robin is a true dog mom, she is great with knowing just what my pups would or wouldn’t do. Like Jaxx being old and not wanting to go outside at night, he just want to lay around in the window to people watch. I highly recommend you utilizing Robin’s services she is a total professional, very responsive when I have a question or needed her assistance while she was with my pups.”

“Very sweet and my dog loved her! She was very receptive to my dogs needs because he is blind and also a senior. I highly recommend her if you live in the area!”

About: I grew up with golden retriever's and will care for your dog like it’s my own. I am flexible with times, reliable, responsible and a true dog lover. I’m a physician with a break before starting my new job in September, and I’d love to spend this time doing something that brings me joy—being around dogs! I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and I’m available and flexible to help with walking, playing, or just keeping your pup company when you need an extra hand. I always ask my clients to walk me through where their dog’s essentials are—food, medications, leashes, and other supplies—so I never have to go through their space without permission. I also make sure to get a detailed run-through of their dog’s specific needs, routines, and unique personality traits to provide the best, most comfortable care possible.

“Sophia was prompt, communicative, followed our instructions, and most important, great with our pup!”

About: I have volunteered at an animal shelter for 8 months, taking care of cats, dogs, bunnies, and anything that came through those doors. I have dealt with waste, scratches (thankfully not bites). I love to get outside and move and pets are a great way to do that, however, I don’t have any of my own right now so I’m excited at the chance to walk and interact with others! I work 7am-3:30pm Saturday - Wednesday. Therefore I am free in the early afternoons and on Thursday and Friday. I love to get exercise so I will walk as long or as little as your fur baby needs. I am good at following instructions. I can not have pets where I am so I can only do at home care. With that being said, I will ensure to follow any/ everything your fur baby needs.

“We had such a great experience using Meghan to sit our cat while we were away on vacation. We were hesitant being this was our 1st time using rover.com, but Meghan took the time to come meet us before taking care of our little Winnie. She was very professional and her genuine love for animals was apparent. She answered all our questions and listened as we told her all about our cat. She really showed great concern and care for our cat and communicated daily by detailed texts/emails and photos. I wouldn't want anyone but Meghan to care for our pets in the future!”

“Kaila was amazing! I had concerns setting up a sitter for Simba for the first time and she made it easy. She was quick on her responses as well as sent picks on her visits. Definitely will use service again in future and hope Kaila is available.”

About: I’ve lived with dogs most of my life! Your dog will be well cared for and treated like family. I only host one dog at a time (along with my own dog) for overnights so that I can best provide a calm environment and give individualized attention. For daycare I can take up to two dogs. I work on basic training with positive reinforcement for good behavior. Your dog will enjoy walks around the neighborhood and plenty of play/sniffing time in the yard. Dogs that are under 45 pounds and have moderate to low energy and appreciate quiet moments/some naps will do best at my house. Dogs with high or excessive energy might not be the best fit here as I do work from home. I currently work from home full time and have a large fenced yard. We typically take a walk around the quiet neighborhood in the morning and afternoon. Unless your dog enjoys/ does best crated, your dog will be trusted to be free in the house. Safety is a priority so I never leave outside unsupervised. I can administer medication as needed and can guarantee your dog will get plenty of exercise and attention. Dogs are allowed on furniture and we also have a few dog beds. For everyone’s safety, I only take dogs who are up to date on vaccinations and are on some form of flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.
