About: I’ve grown up my whole life around animals, we had 2 Great Pyrenees and 2 Pitbull/Mastiff Mixes. I absolutely loved caring for them and playing with them. I dog sat all throughout highschool into college and now that I’m settled down in my own house I’ve realized how much I miss it! About: My husband and I both grew up in homes with several animals. We have been dog sitting together since we first got married. We love dogs and have our own Great Pyrenees, Anatolian shepherd, and black lab. Our children have grown up with dogs and absolutely adore them. I am a stay at home mom with a flexible schedule. I typically am only gone from the house for a couple hours at a time. We are available on most weekdays and weekends. We have multiple fenced in pastures where your dog can explore. There is plenty of fenced in areas to choose from for outdoor play. We also have a wonderful area for a walks on the bluff. I love a good running buddy. We have a small homestead with chickens sheep pigs cows and our own dog and cats.

About: I have taken care of dogs for 40 years on and off as people need me. I started with friends for free! I've volunteered at a local animal shelter. I've adopted dogs and 2 cats from local shelters. I took in my uncle's dog after he could no longer care for him. I've rescued dogs off the streets and taken them to local low-kill shelters! I actually love dogs and will greet them on the street before ever saying hi to their owners. I need to do better at that. Your dog will be cared for and looked after. I let them out 6-8 times a day in the fenced-in backyard Saturday-Monday. I am at work 4 days a week for 4 hours each day. So that is the longest they are left in the house. I have a housemate who loves dogs and helps take them outside as well. I enjoy them hanging around with me. If your pet needs to be in a crate at night, no problem. I have a large crate so you don't have to lug one around. If they don't need a crate, they are welcome to join my dog and me in my bed. If I have more than 2 visiting dogs, we all sleep on my 3 couches. Everyone gets their own space, even me! I also sit for friends, and most of my clients are by word of mouth, so they won't be listed on my Rover calendar. For example: Summer 2026: I've watched 5 visiting guest dogs. I'm getting 2 more in October. I have one dog of my own. I have one pretty mellow dog and one cat that likes dogs. My dog gets treats when I leave the house once or twice a day. Water bowls are always full. Dogs hang out wherever I am. If I am in my bedroom, the door is always open, they can come in. If I'm in the kitchen or living room or out back in the fenced yard, they are always welcome to be where I am. I have a secure, fenced-in backyard. I let the dogs go out as long as they want to be out. Usually, they don't want to come right in. I sit with them sometimes, or play ball and brush them. They are kept inside the house at night and most of the day, except for potty breaks. We are more careful in the summer heat, even though they seem to like being out there.

About: I ABSOLUTELY love dogs. I actually love all animals, I do not discriminate. I have been around pets my whole life. I am very patient and understanding with them. I get along with them more than people. I can provide a fun safe environment while I care for your fur baby. My yard is pretty spacious and we are slowly trying to turn it into a small farm . I do prefer to play and keep them in the house for security purposes, that way they’re never unsupervised. While you are away, your fur baby will not be missing any cuddles or treats. Staying at my house is not like a traditional boarding place, it gives your pup an opportunity to be a part of my family while you are away. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
