About: I’ve grown up with a lot of different pets in the house. My current dog just turned 9 and he’s my baby, but he’s with my parents now. I’m a grad student who can’t have pets in my house, so I’d love to meet some sweet babies and make some money for school! I’m working part time in the mornings Monday-Thursday, so most afternoons or weekends I’m available! I can also be pretty flexible, whatever is needed works! My home has a fenced in yard. It is large and has plenty of new smells! Plenty of space for a pup to run and play or soak up the sun.

About: I have had pets since I was a child. We had dogs, chickens, bunnies, bees, and turkeys. I got my own dog in college (great idea, right?!) and haven’t turned back since. Currently we have 4 dogs; 13 year old Boxer/pit, 12 year old English sheepdog, 6 year old Aussie doodle, and a 2 year old Irish Wolfhound. I have taken care of puppies through elderly dogs. I have given medicine to the dog that takes it like a treat and the one you need to convince to eat it. I have taken care of small dogs - 150 lb dogs! My dogs have the best life and I’d love to give yours the best while you are away. I’m currently in school and out for the summer! I have plenty of time to stop by and check on your pets. I don’t mind a few trips as I know how much they miss company while you are away. I have lived places where I had to take my dogs for walks multiple times a day and also places with fenced in yards. I know the details of both lives. I also have dogs that are crated when I’m away and free. I know how to help a dog get in/out of the crate safely and happily. I enjoy walking dogs around the neighborhood, taking our time to be outside.

About: While I’m just getting started as a pet sitter/walker, I’ve always loved animals and have helped care for dogs and cats throughout my life. I’ve had two cats of my own and grew up around dogs, so I’m familiar with the daily care, and the importance of showing animals lots of love and patience. I may not have years of experience yet, but I make up for it with enthusiasm and reliability. I’m excited to gain more experience and give your pet the care and attention they deserve! As a full time college student, I have a flexible schedule and enjoy spending time with animals between classes and study breaks. I’m usually available in the afternoons and early evenings. I’m also looking to be more active, and walking dogs is the perfect motivation to get moving while doing something I love. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I’m excited to care for your pets like they’re my own! Right now, I’m wanting to focusing on dog walking and drop in visits. When I’m in a client’s home, I will make sure to follow all instructions carefully, respect their space, and keep things clean and secure. I pay close attention to each pet’s safety making sure gates are closed, leashes are secure, and their routines are followed. My goal is to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and cared for every time!

About: I cared for pets since I was 10 years old. If I see a dog out in public, I always have to ask their person if I can pet their dog. I have trained puppies with basic obedience and potty training. I believe that dogs need to be socialized if possible. I have also cared for elderly dogs and had to administer shots and pills. My little guy was a rescue that lived for 20 years. I don’t currently have a full time dog in my home. I just said goodbye to him in November 2024. I sometimes keep my girlfriend’s miniature labradoodle. He is about 30 lbs and is great with other dogs, kids and people. He has a fun personality and is a great playmate for other dogs. I work from home. I am a single father. It is just me and my teenage daughter. We are both very active and love animals. I am available to spend plenty of time with our furry friends. My little buddy passed away after 20 years in November 2024. So I do not currently have any pets in my home. I do watch my girlfriend’s dog from time to time. He is a great playmate for other dogs. He is friendly with all people and other dogs. He has quite a personality. He only weighs 30 lbs. I live in a quiet community with sidewalks and established trees. I have a fenced yard. I can let them out frequently. I also like to take them for walks at my home or your home.

About: I'm the go-to pet sitter for all my friends because they know I’m dependable, empathetic, and highly responsible. I manage my time well and always make pets my priority. I truly believe pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, respect, and attention I give to my own. I’m familiar with taking care of pets recovering from surgery as well as elderly dogs who just need a little extra care. Whether it's a playful puppy or a senior pet needing extra TLC, I’m here to give them the care they deserve. My job is remote and I our office hours are from 9-3, therefore I’m extremely flexible. I’m good with managing my time so I can make just about any schedule work. I have done Rover in the past and I have house sat many of those times(for 3 specific owners). I believe the pets are most comfortable at home and especially the ones who may need extra care. My apartment doesn’t allow pets but I’m more than happy to house sit.

I’m super respectful of the space and make sure everything stays clean and safe, especially when it comes to things like gates, doors, and anything a curious pet might get into. I pay close attention to their behavior and body language so I can make sure they’re feeling relaxed, happy, and well cared for.

About: Hi! I'm a pet mom currently without my own furbaby and would love to be your substitute pet parent! For however long your pet is in my care, I will love them and treat them as if they are my own. I have 20+ years of caring for dogs of various ages, sizes, breeds and personalities, including giving them medications/supplements. I have had one from puppy to doggie heaven, and several in between. I do not currently own one, so I would love the opportunity to hang out, cuddle, walk, and play with your furbaby! I give them the care and love they need and deserve. Up until recently, my dogs were my life. For the majority of the past 15 years, I've been used to having two larger dogs around, but now it's just me. I am currently unable to work a "normal" job at the moment and need dogs in my life! This is how I am able to earn income at the moment. Caring for them are as much of a benefit for me as they are for you and your furbaby! I am super flexible, so just because you're away doesn't mean their routine has to change. I aim to provide a home away from home for pups that stay with me. I care for them as if they were my own. Being away from home and/or from you, can be difficult so I do everything I can to make sure they are happy and comfortable. I am mindful of everything a dog could get into so do my best to provide a safe, clean, and dog friendly environment for them. My life right now consists of appointments and dogs! I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. It is on the first floor and has lots of space for a pup to still run and play.

About: I am an experienced pet sitter and caregiver with both basic and specialty care. I have experience with both household pets and some farm animals doing long-term in-house care, daily visits, walks, medication, post-surgery care, and both puppy/kitten and senior care! I have had pets my entire life (with 4 cats and 2 golden retrievers now) and will truly love your pet as my own! I recently graduated from JMU and began petsitting through Rover this summer.
