About: I’ve been a dog trainer for 5 years and frequently work with animal behavior, loose leash walking, and puppy basics. I’ve also been a dog groomer and bather for 3 years and have worked at various boarding facilities, so I have a lot of hands on experience with animal care and all the everyday parts of caring for dogs. I’ve also worked on an AKC German Shepherd farm doing conformation showing and training, and I’ve fostered 6 puppies that I trained and prepared for their new families — they still keep in touch with me daily! I really enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood while they’re in my care. I work part time, so I have plenty of time to care for and play with your pups **(Me and a roomate in the home I will be the sole and only caretaker of your pet throughout the week.)**I live just a few steps from Reaney Park and visit there frequently, so walks and outdoor time are already a regular part of my routine. I have Sundays off every week and am happy to dedicate that day to extra time and attention with your pup. My home is dog proofed and set up to be a safe, comfortable place for your pup. I have two very friendly dogs who can interact with your dog if they’re comfortable with each other, or they can be put away if your dog prefers their own space. Both of my dogs are off-leash trained, but when a client’s dog is staying with me, the door does not open unless that dog is safely leashed. We’re 10 steps away from Reaney Park, where client dogs stay on a leash or long line the entire time. We also have a fenced balcony that your dog can enjoy with supervision if you’d like them to have access to it. Inside, there are plenty of appropriate toys to chew on and cords, surfaces, and other hazards are kept out of reach. Your dog will be supervised whenever they’re not safely crated. I love giving dogs as much freedom as they can safely handle, so please feel free to tell me your pup’s expectations, routines, and requirements. I’m happy to follow them and make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

About: I’ve taken care of puppies and kittens for a while, more recent for kittens. I grew up with so many dogs since I was young. I’m currently looking for a fulltime job, but for the time being my schedule is very clear to take care of your animals if that changes I’ll let you know! I do live in an apartment complex but I live on the bottom floor and have access to grass right outside my patio. If your dog is okay with a leash there will be no problem to take them potty. I do own a cat box inside my home as well.
About: I have taken care of dogs and other pets since I was a young child. I have an undergraduate degree in Ecology and Conservation Biology and recently finished a master's in Environmental Education and Science Communication. I am very passionate about animals, both domestic and wild. I recently graduated with my Masters of Natural Resources degree from the University of Idaho and just got my first full-time job here in Pullman! About: I have been caring for dogs from ages 6 weeks to 16 years old since I was 10. I am extremely passionate about animals and volunteer at local shelters as well as foster dogs and cats. I recently fostered a sick 12-week-old puppy where I had to administer medication multiple times a day. I potty trained her and leash trained her. After 2 amazing months, I found her a loving ome. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
