“Jazmin has been highly communicative, very proactive, and sent me a lot of photos of the fur babies, which put me at great ease. She’s also been very punctual and checked in with me during the visits. I so appreciate that kind of thoughtful support and strong communication! Will be reaching out to her for future pet care. Thank you, Jazmin!”

“Emma was WONDERFUL! I was very nervous about using Rover while we were away and Emma put us right at ease. She updated us every time she visited and our dog loved her. I will definitely be using her services again.”

“This was my second time using Meagan and she was amazing again!! Took care of my two kitties wonderfully. Water, food, and litter boxes were perfect upon arriving home. Even my plants are doing well and she took care of the house too. I will definitely be using her care again if we ever need it. 10/10 we love Meagan!”

“Allison was great and took extra special care with our 2 cats. We unfortunately booked and were away during a snow storm but Allison was able to make all appointments and even used our snow shovel and ice melt to clear our steps which is above and beyond.”

About: I've grown up surrounded by animals, from little chihuahuas to big dobermans, and from your grumpiest cats to your sweetest ones. My mother loves to tell people I talked to animals before I talked to people. I am able to read and adapt well to your pets needs, providing the proper love and care to satisfy both you and your furbaby! I am a full-time high school student, and will be able to drop by after 3 pm on weekdays and at any time on weekends. I also do have a part-time job for a couple days out of the week but I make sure I'm able to stop by in between school and work to let them out and feed them! I am very good at reading animals, and will give them as much love or space as they want me to! I am very flexible and will provide whatever care you need me to while abiding by the boundaries you and your pet set for me.
“Completely enjoyed having Maria drop in and help my senior cats Ginger and Stella. House was neat and both cats were calm and satisfied when I got back. Maria also gave some detailed reviews with each visit which was very reassuring. We’ll be happy to have her back next trip!”

“Heather was super responsive via texts when needed. She came at the promised time, spent the promised time with our cat, and did everything that was asked of her. She also included several photos with each update. I would have liked a bit more written update, but that's not critical. She was fantastic and will definitely use again!”

“Rowan was absolutely everything we were looking for and she definitely delivered!! We needed her to check in on our cat 2 days while we were away. She fed him, played with him using multiple methods and toys, gave him a ton of attention and mental stimulation and made sure to send us the cutest pictures ever! We highly recommend booking with her. You can depend on Rowan for high quality care!”

“Was really appreciative for the pretty last minute care of Chip, and I could tell from his demeanor when I got back that he got plenty of exercise and attention! Also got such cute photos - thank you so much!!”

About: Hi! I’m Julia 😊☀️ For as long as I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by dogs. Growing up, I had all kinds—from dachshunds and pit bulls to Australian Shepherds and lovable mutts—and I’ve fallen in love with each and every one. I’ve previously worked at a veterinary hospital as well as a pet boarding facility, gaining hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I’m now a stay-at-home mom to two beautiful, animal-loving girls who may occasionally join me. I truly believe dogs are best friends and should be treated as such. You can trust that I will care for your dog as if they were my own. I’m at home every day with my two daughters so I have a wide open schedule. I took a 3 year break from rover to raise my babies and now I’m looking to get back to dog walking! I have a lot of availability and love to be outdoors- rain or shine. I live on a 6 acre farm that has some areas fenced and lots of room for my 2 dogs to run and explore. I love to let any dogs that I watch get out some energy by running and getting to sniff & explore everything in sight.
“Nicole took amazing care of our senior pups. I usually worry so much when I have to leave them but felt very comfortable that she would take good care of them. She was on time for all of the drop ins we had scheduled, sent us pictures and took good care of my girls. I will definitely use Nicole again and would recommend her to others.”

“Kayla did a great job with Chip, and I was super appreciative of her last minute availability! Chip seemed happy and tuckered out when I got home, so it seems like they had a fun time. Thanks Kayla!”

“Marley was absolutely fantastic with our 5-month-old puppy, Goose! He’s definitely a handful, but everything went incredibly smoothly. Her quick and consistent communication before, during, and after her visit gave me complete confidence that he was in great hands. I also loved the pictures she shared and appreciated the updates throughout her time with him. I would happily have Marley watch Goose again and highly recommend her!”

“Jodie is wonderful!! From her initial pet meet-and-greet, to her check-ins while you’re gone, and her follow through after you return- everything is perfect! Thank you, Jodie, for going out of your way to make my fur child so happy while I’m gone! Jodie deserves more than 5 stars!”

“Jessica was great even though Chuck was a bit timid and unhappy that I was not home … she did a great job giving him his pills and making sure he was ok … highly recommend !! Thanks so much”

Courtney did an amazing job of taking care of my cat while I was on vacation. Food, water, and litter were good to go the whole time. She even got him to come out of hiding and play around, sending multiple pictures for peace of mind. Overall 5/5, completely hassle free, if I need a pet sitter again she’ll be the first I ask.

Tim was one of only two people for whom my kitty emerged from hiding without prior acquaintance in her 11years. I suspect a testament to spending the time needed to convince her he came in peace… & with treats! He was also a real trooper watering plants & filling the bird bath. I was very pleased.
Jazmin is fantastic! Very communicative, prompt, honest, and always asks good questions. Finding a trusted pet sitter is difficult and Jazmin is just the best- can’t recommend her highly enough! I particularly appreciate all her updates and photos of the pets; makes it so much easier for me when I travel.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
