“Meagan was wonderful! She took care of my 2 cats while I was gone for alittle over a week. She was responsive and easy to communicate with. I really enjoyed her! Will be booking again 😊”

“We really appreciate Allison's good care of our kitty, Figgy, while we were away for several days. It was Figgy's first time meeting Allison, and Allison was very patient with her, letting Figgy warm up to her at her own pace.”

About: As a pet lover and owner, I understand the level of care and security pet owners desire. I am patient with pets, understand their needs, and will give them plenty of exercise (as desired) and attention. Whether you need me to visit your pet's home or drop them off at mine, I am glad to help. If you would like me to house your pet, I have plenty of room as well as a fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run. There is also a bike trail nearby I would love to take your pet on if they enjoys walks. I currently have a small dog, but have owned other dogs before as well including a large dog, rabbits, a scorpion, and birds. I'm a quick at responding, so feel free to reach out whenever you may have a pet need. As a student, I have flexible hours and more availability than perhaps the average employee. I make it a point to take my own dog, Snickers on a walk at least once a day as well as playing fetch with her. I'd be happy to help keep your pet entertained as well. I have a comfortable home with plenty of indoor and outdoor space, and can make accomodations according to your pet's needs. I have a large basement in addition to a fenced in backyard, with plenty of room for them to run around. Have toys to provide as well to keep them entertained. I can provide a regular schedule for your pet to make sure they receive the care that works best for them. As a student, I can provide flexibility in regards to making home visits as well at providing care at my home if desired. I am just looking to help others with their pets. Please let me know any specifics or concerns you may have with what your pet may need.
“The absolute best sitter you could find!!! Michelle will always be our go to. She is so thoughtful, kind, and communicative. We love all of the thorough updates and beautiful pictures she sends us. We rest easy when we are out of town knowing she is taking such exceptional care of Oliver!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities since I was young. I grew up with dogs in my home and currently have two dogs of my own, so I know how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to find someone you can trust with them. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I truly love all fur babies and would be so excited to care for yours! 🐾❤️ I am currently a part time student at Anne Arundel community college. I also have a part time job. My weekends are available. Weekdays I have a lot of free time during the day between classes before I head to work at 2:30-5:30 (usual hours). Safety is my top priority when caring for your pets. I will always make sure they are supervised, secure, and comfortable, whether we are out on a walk, during a drop-in visit, or staying overnight. I follow each pet’s routine and any instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and anything else that helps them feel at home.
“Rebecca takes great care of our kitties when we’re gone. We get pics and updates each day, which I love. We’re repeat customers. Rebecca is reliable and flexible. Thank you!”

“Jazmin has been highly communicative, very proactive, and sent me a lot of photos of the fur babies, which put me at great ease. She’s also been very punctual and checked in with me during the visits. I so appreciate that kind of thoughtful support and strong communication! Will be reaching out to her for future pet care. Thank you, Jazmin!”

“Emma was WONDERFUL! I was very nervous about using Rover while we were away and Emma put us right at ease. She updated us every time she visited and our dog loved her. I will definitely be using her services again.”

“Rowan took such great care of Remi! In her drop ins she would be sure to let him out to potty, feed him, refresh his water as needed and give him some pets/ play time! She also made sure to put on a dog movie in the background for him to listen to since he enjoys background noise when no one is home. Remi definitely enjoyed Rowan’s company, and she was great to work with!”

“Sabine came on our pre-scheduled scheduled dates and took care of my three kitties. She sent me messages on their daily status and added lots of much appreciated pictures!”

“Jodie is absolutely amazing with my senior cat! She makes sure my cat is well loved and taken care of (and makes sure she gets her meds which is a challenge on its own). My cat loves her. I can’t say enough positive things about Jodie!”

About: I enjoy dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. As a pet owner I understand the desire to provide the best for them and the anxiety of worrying about them when I can't be with them. I am gentle with anxious, scared, or elderly pets. I am full of energy for pets that need exercise. I can come to your home before work, during lunch, and after work. My work schedule is flexible and can be adjusted based on your pet's needs. At my home I walk my dog every morning in the woods and in the neighborhood in the afternoon and evening. My pets keep me company while I work. I can work from your home with reliable wifi.
“Jessica did a great job checking in on our puppies while we are out of town. She was able to assist us with last minute request! Our pets love her and she provides timely updates and pictures on how they are doing. Jessica has become our go to provider for pet sitting and check ins.”

“From the moment Marley met our two cats for the first time I knew I could rest easy on our long trip away. My cat was just coming off a bad reaction to sedation and has hyperasthesia, and she handled his meds and a setback in symptoms effortlessly and with care. She kept us thoroughly updated daily, followed all the instructions and notes I left! and made sure everything was clean on her last day. Most importantly Marley was a caring, loving presence and caregiver for our kitties every day, and was a very kind, compassionate person in all our interactions.”

“Jessica was great! This is the second time we have booked with her. She was able to help us out and do drop ins for our dogs last minute. She communicates everything and is great about double checking details. Our pups were in great care!”

“Candice is AMAZING!!! She has a genuine love and heart for fur babies. Jace & Candice instantly connected during their 1st meet and greet 💙 She was very interested in understanding everything about Jace from his habits, the food and treats he likes most even his favorite toys! Such a comfort to know that our boy Jace would be in the care of such a loving sitter. Candice shared updates and photos while we were away and made sure that Jace was happy. Thank you sooooo much Candice, we cannot wait to have you care for Jace again. Welcome to the family 😊”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Arden on the Severn
Courtney did an amazing job of taking care of my cat while I was on vacation. Food, water, and litter were good to go the whole time. She even got him to come out of hiding and play around, sending multiple pictures for peace of mind. Overall 5/5, completely hassle free, if I need a pet sitter again she’ll be the first I ask.

Rowan was absolutely everything we were looking for and she definitely delivered!! We needed her to check in on our cat 2 days while we were away. She fed him, played with him using multiple methods and toys, gave him a ton of attention and mental stimulation and made sure to send us the cutest pictures ever! We highly recommend booking with her. You can depend on Rowan for high quality care!

Tim was one of only two people for whom my kitty emerged from hiding without prior acquaintance in her 11years. I suspect a testament to spending the time needed to convince her he came in peace… & with treats! He was also a real trooper watering plants & filling the bird bath. I was very pleased.
Jazmin is fantastic! Very communicative, prompt, honest, and always asks good questions. Finding a trusted pet sitter is difficult and Jazmin is just the best- can’t recommend her highly enough! I particularly appreciate all her updates and photos of the pets; makes it so much easier for me when I travel.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
