Ashley also thoughtfully brought in packages, took our garbage to the curb and back, and fed and watered our misanthropic hedgehog, Mister Bear.🤣 When our flight was rerouted Ashley stepped right up to add an extra visit for us with little notice. About: I have taken care of many different types of animals for 6 plus years for all my local friends and family with the utmost joy. I have a remote job which allows me to work from home so my schedule is very flexible to take care of animals whenever needed. About: I’ve had my knee replaced which has slowed me down a tad but also allows me be to home all the time. We recently lost our old boy (dog of 12 years) and while my cats have helped me to survive, I have so much more love to give! For now I want to spend time with others’ dogs to help fill the whole in my heart. I genuinely want to make every animal a friend of mine! I will always lead with love, care and respect. I work from home already which is usually stuff I take care of in the evenings anyway but I have the time, love and space to accommodate your furry family members. We have three lovable indoor cats. Two will stay away mostly and one will greet you at the door with friendly meows. We will spend the whole time snuggling on the couch or running around in our yard.
About: When I was growing up I had 6 dogs and 2 cats and one of my dogs had puppy’s. I also have a cat of my own and I used to work at Dogwood Pet Retreat for about 10 months and it was so much fun! I have two dogs at home and two cats I take care of with my boyfriend. We feed the dogs and take them out to play and get them bones and toys all the time! I will let the dogs out and feed them on time. They will get TONS of love and cuddles but I will also respect their boundaries. Treats that are approved with the owners will be given of course! About: I enjoy being around all types of pets. As I try to understand animals as well as making them feel understood in their own ways. I have been pet sitting for about 7 years, including drop in visits, walks and staying overnight. I currently work at Calvert Animal Hospital and have been there for 4 years. If your pet is in need of a medication administration there will be an additional charge. This price will depend on the medication, how much and how often. I currently work part time at Calvert Animal Hospital as well as am in community college full time. But I would like to stay in the animal field. Pet sitting is something I enjoy doing and enjoy helping people out. About: I was an owner of a 8yr old Cane Corso who has now passed away from bone cancer. She has had 2 litters whom I cared for. 7 puppies each litter for 8 weeks was such an amazing experience! We have 4 sons and she was always attached to our 3rd son’s hip. We also rescued a beautiful cat, Misaki, who is now 1 1/2. My youngest son begged us for her and she has claimed me. She is the most sweetest thing and loves to cuddle. She follows me everywhere which we should have named her Shadow. If I could bring all the animals into my home I truly would! Myself and my youngest boys ages 16 & 15 would love to care for your animals as we would our own! We now have Briahs grandson Deuce is now 1 1/2 and is huge and a ball of fun! I’m currently a homeschool mom for I’m very flexible. I work part time but I’m available at anytime. I will make sure your babies are well taken care of! I am available three times a day for services and anytime you need your babies needs met. If they need play time we can do that or even just a belly rub after dinner :)

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for friends and neighbors for the past 5 years. I absolutely love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own! 🐾❤️ Our family homeschools, so there’s almost always someone home. Your dog will be welcomed as part of our family, with plenty of attention, love, and companionship. They’ll rarely have to be home alone 😊 We have a Boston Terrier who is used to having other dogs around and does well sharing her space with them. I keep dogs on a leash when we go outside since we don’t have a fenced-in yard, and I take them out multiple times throughout the day for potty breaks and fresh air. When I need to leave the house, I crate the dogs for their safety and peace of mind. I want every pet staying with us to feel comfortable, cared for, and part of the family!

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
