“Lexy was able to get close (physically) to my very shy calico cat during her first visit. I don't believe she was able to touch her but just getting within 2 feet sometimes takes a long time. Lexy is very gentle and takes her time which is very much needed. Of course food and water and clean-up was handled well. I recommend Lexy of course, just don't keep her busy when I need her- ha!”

About: Hello! I am an online Spanish teacher and am able to be pretty near anywhere as long as there is wifi! I have been watching all kinds of animals for several years. I grew up on a farm and I am used to early mornings and routines. Getting outside and being active is a must in my life. As well as cuddling and having a calm evening of pets and loves. I am a big time animal lover and work hard to create a positive bond with every animal I am caring for. It is important for them to feel loved and safe when their human is away. Important details to keep in mind is my partner (Sam) and bonus kiddo (Marcus 9) will be staying with me at times if I am in-house pet sitting and during the school year I will have early morning drop offs and evening pick ups every other week (: the other important detail is houses with inside cameras will need to be disabled for profesional and personal privacy! Currently I have a seasonal plant vendor job in the summer for 2-4 days a week in the mornings which will require me to be away for 3-5 hours depending on the work load. I look forward to meeting and greeting you and your fur babies! I work from home, light mornings and heavy evening schedule. I simply need wifi to teach my classes and have a flexible schedule when needed. I will take care of the tasks asked of me and can use my own expertise on taking care of a situation that may not have been covered. Open communication is important and necessary -feeding schedules -exercise needs -an abundance of cuddles -photo check ins to ease your mind as well

Over the years my family and I have had numerous dogs, rats, hamsters, cats fish goats and chickens I work full time but have time before and after work to feed, walk, play or just sit and hang out with your animals. I can also come and visit during my lunch breaks. I'm half to stay overnight in your home or have your fur baby stay with me! I have a ½ acre that is completely fenced out in the country. lots of room for your dog to run. I can also stay at your home if that's where your animals are most comfortable. About: Hi! I’ve had dogs nearly all my life. I have a chihuahua named Mae who I rescued as a 6-week-old puppy. Taking care of her for the past 7 years has been the greatest joy of my life. I love all animals and I’m very excited to take care of other dogs in need of care. I am gentle, attentive, perceptive, and extremely detailed and thorough. I won’t miss a thing! I’ve unfortunately had to help my pup through several health crises due to her chronic health conditions and I’m very familiar with emergency care. Being a rescue with behavioral issues, I am also very skilled at managing difficult behaviors such as food aggression. I look forward to supporting your fur baby! I am currently available for pet care any day, any time. I am new to Portland and still searching for full-time work. My only other priority is caring for my own dog as well. I am happy to care for your pets in your home, whether it’s a drop-in visit, a few hours, or an overnight stay. About: my entire life I've grew up with animals that I have loved and taken care of. I'd be so excited to take care of someone else's pets. I have a schedule that is not consistent, I have a full time job. I always work weekends. But that doesn't mean I cant stop by and check on them throughout the day but I won't be able to spend full days with them unless I'm off. but I can be there as much as I'm needed through the night. unfortunately I can not board any pets in my home. The other residents wouldnt appreciate that including the territorial cat and bulldogs who like to guard the house

As an adult now, with many of my own animals, I am now offering my services again. I rarely go anywhere because I do not like being away from home and my animals. It's already stressful for them, and for you too, so make it easier with someone who talks to them and makes sure that they feel special. I live at home with my hubby and he adored by every animal that meets him. He even stole my main doggy daycare client! Know when animals are here, they're cherished by both of us. I have my own small businesses that I can work on anytime I feel like it from home, which gives me great flexibility. I am available to take care of critters in the Ruch area almost any day, minus some appointments that I have sometimes. In my home: To protect my own cats and dogs, for day care, I need to ensure that your dog is friendly with my animals, vaccinated, and protected from fleas and ticks. Outside is fenced in with no climb fencing and acreage for roaming around our house, they get to let me know when they want to go outside, or come inside. My dogs knock on the door and tell me what they want (in or out). I'm sure they will teach your dog to do the same. When inside, we read, nap, cuddle on the couch, floor, in front of the wood stove, or in a crate if your dog desires. Outside, there are a couple of acres to run and explore. I spend all day tending to my dogs and can do this for yours too. For pet-sitting, where I come to your home, I would like to meet your pets ahead of time. I feel that it is important for them to meet me before you go away somewhere. I will follow your typical routine with feeding, potty breaks, play and cuddle time.

About: I have been caring for animals of ALL kinds since I was a small child. Animals seem to always gravitate towards me. I am a stay at home mom so I am almost always at home. I have taken care of older ill dogs, so am more than capable of administering medications or even therapeutic massage. I never use any toxic chemicals in or around my home as I have two small children and am extremely health conscious. I hike a lot so if you have an energetic dog, they would surely fit in around here :) I currently am a stay at home mom so caretaking comes very naturally for me. Both my children are HUGE animal lovers as well and they have always had a dog in their lives so from an early age they learned the proper ways to care for and respect animals. Your pet would get lots of attention here without overwhelming the animal as there is complete respect of for space one needs at any given time. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of leg room. I have an extremely friendly borderdoodle and a playful kitty that I share space with. I love to walk in the woods, go to parks, and even walk around the neighborhood often. There is a park walkable distance so I frequently go there to let Bruno off leash so he can chase a ball. I maintain a clean home with only natural non toxic products and good old fashion vinegar water . I always have a huge stock of naturally healthy dog treats on deck as well. I currently work from home and stay home with my youngest daughter. So your pet will always be with someone and will have access to the yard at any time they need to go out. As well having a huge basket of dog toys to explore :) I have a fenced in yard and have 2 fur babies. One being canine the other a friendly feline. They are both extremely friendly. The animals are always allowed to roam freely throughout the house and backyard.
