About: I currently work with a local rescue and have worked with rescues for two years now due to my love for animals! I foster dogs of any age as well. I am currently a stay at home mom so I would be able to spend endless amounts of time with your babies!! I have two small children as well who are well versed with dogs and are used to being around them. I have one furry baby of my own and almost always have a foster dog in my home as well. Your pet is welcome to stay in our home the same as they do in yours, whether that’s crated at night, on their dog bed, etc.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs both full time and part time since I was around 14. I was the sole caregiver for my previous dog (American Staffy) for 4 years as well as pet sitting for family. I’m currently home from college and work from home, so I am able to give your pets plenty of attention and care. I’m also an active person who loves outside. I have a fenced in backyard as well as a very walkable neighborhood with ponds and trails. If needed, I also have a crate available.

We’re attentive, patient, and committed to following your pet’s routine the best we can to make them feel comfortable, just like at home My wife Sore works from home, so she’s here most days. You can be at peace knowing your pet(s) will get lots of attention, cuddles, potty breaks, and playtime! We have a big fenced yard for security and a nice deck for sunbathing! There’s plenty of room for exercise, if your pup enjoys the outdoors.

About: I have over three years experience of volunteering at a pet clinic, as well as owning everything from a Standard poodle to tea cup Chihuahua! I am a stay at home wife, working primarily from home within Odenville AL. Therefore my schedule is always flexible and open! This also means I will always be with your pup or cat during boarding! Cassandra was responsive, communicative, and sent great photo updates, which gave me total peace of mind. I highly recommend her for any pet-sitting needs in the Birmingham area especially if you’re traveling between Birmingham and Talladega. Great experience all around!”

About: I've taken care of pets for friends and family when needed and have experience giving medication to elderly and sick dogs. We have three female dogs of our own (pug & pug mix) and they would love to have friends over to play ball. I look forward to helping you with all your boarding and care needs. We love our fur babies and yours will be treated like another member of our family. I currently work 8am to 4:30pm during the weekday but my wife is home all day & can take care of your pets. For house-sitting requests, my wife will be the one staying over and we require a meet & greet prior to accepting. I have a fenced backyard for potty breaks and play time. My dogs will be fed separately from guest dogs. Clients will have full access to water and toys all the time. We have a medium kennel suited with small pillow and blankets that are washed before and after. I will ensure that at all times your pet is on a leash. I would prefer you bring a harness of your own, but we do have extra small sized ones here. If your dog needs special food or medication; I would like a detailed list of instructions of the times and types of medication needed. I will also do daily photos of your dog sent through text messages if requested.

About: I'm from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and I graduated from Pinson Valley high. I attend Lawson State Community college, where I'm currently majoring in Veterinary Medicine. While participating in the Agricultural Science program at Tuscaloosa Career and Technology Center, I gained experience in fish reproduction and animal handling. A lifelong pet lover, I have raised ten animals since childhood. My part-time schedule ensures I have ample time to provide attentive care for your pets I'm energetic, vigilant, and playful, so we’re bound to have tons of fun together! About: We love dogs! But right now with 7 kids in the throws of school and all the extracurriculars, it’s just not the right time for us to have our own furry family member, so let us love on yours! My husband and I each had dogs growing up and we had a family dog until he passed away a few years ago. We have been boarding, walking, and doing drop-ins since that time. From puppies to senior dogs, we can take care of them all. I am a stay-at-home mom who homeschools my 7 children, so we’re home the majority of the time and will be able to fit in your dog’s regular schedule into our every day routine. When pets stay at our house we do our best to keep the same schedule and expectations the dogs have come to know at their homes. I enjoy going for walks at the park and visiting the dog park with dogs who are accustomed to it. We do not have a fenced yard, so I make sure each pet gets adequate exercise each day on a leash. When I come to your home, I will follow your directions exactly as you desire and provide pictures and GPS “walking time cards” via Rover so you can be assured your pet is receiving the high quality care you paid for!

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I enjoy taking care of them and they always cling to me as if I were there only caregiver. I love creating those deep bonds with my pets. We now care for a small farm with chickens, ducks, rabbits, goats and pigs! We love our animals and we will love yours too! I am a stay at home parent, so I get the joy of spending a lot of one on one time with my 4 year old Labradoodle “Arrow” 1 year old Maltese “Molly” and my old cat “Raggy.” I have a 23 acre fenced in farm where the dogs loves to run and play, lots of shade trees and farm animals to play with. Our pets get their exercise and run time in the secured back yard and therefore you do not have to worry about running out in the street or getting off the leash. Our pets get fed twice a day, breakfast and dinner and treats for obedience. Your pet will be fed as you require. Our pets are truly part of our family and yours will be loved and treated the same.

About: I’ve had and cared for my own dogs most of my life, and now that I’m retired and live alone, I truly enjoy meeting and spending time with new pups. I love getting to know all their unique personalities—it’s one of the best parts of what I do! Their company and the feeling of being needed keep me young, and I genuinely enjoy having someone to care for. I’ve been with Rover on and off for over 5 years, occasionally taking breaks due to health reasons, but my love and passion for animals has never changed. I’m always happy to send updates and photos while you’re away, if you’d like. I do have a small chiweenie named Bella who is also a senior citizen. She’s sweet, quiet, and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her chunky little body. She’s never had any issues with other dogs—even larger ones—and is happy to share her space. Rest assured, I’ll care for your baby as if they were my own. 🐾❤️ I’m available full-time and very flexible with scheduling, since I no longer work. I’m happy to provide care at whatever time or date works best for you—just give me about three days’ notice so I can plan accordingly. From time to time, I do watch my son’s three grand-pups, but I always try to block those dates out in advance so there’s no overlap or confusion. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priority! I do want to be fully transparent—I live in a trailer in a quiet trailer park, which unfortunately isn’t an option to select on Rover (they only allow “home,” “apartment,” or “farm”). While my neighborhood might seem a little rough around the edges, I promise it’s much friendlier than it looks. All of my neighbors are senior citizens and truly some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. My best friend lives next door and helps keep an eye on my little one if I ever need to step out for errands or groceries, so your dog will always be safe and looked after. I also have a fully fenced-in backyard and typically leave the back door open so dogs can go in and out as they please. That said, if you prefer your pup stays inside and is only let out for potty breaks, I’m more than happy to follow your routine. Your dog’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. 🐾❤️
