“I’m so excited that my dog sitter, Charish, is finally on Rover.com! My pug, Stormy, absolutely loves Charish! In fact, Stormy gets so excited when we pull up to her townhouse that I can barely hold on to the leash as she rushes to the front door. Charish’s townhouse community has a private park and Stormy loves to go for walks in the park, chase the ducks, and pose for the pictures that Charish sends me during the day!”

About: Hi, I’m Alora! I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, rabbits, goats, pigs and chickens! I’m certified in Cat & Dog First Aid (Red Cross) and have cared for senior pets, those with special needs, and energetic puppies. I’m a stay at home mom to two boys (Bond & Sawyer) and two sweet pups (Baloo & Akela). Your pet will be treated like family, with love, attention, and snuggles. Our backyard is partially fenced (soon fully enclosed!), and I offer safe, supervised outdoor time or walks around our quiet neighborhood. Whether it’s a drop-in, walk, or boarding stay, I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes every step of the way! I’m home full-time with my two young boys, so I’m able to give plenty of love and attention to every pet I care for. From morning potty breaks and walks to evening snuggles, your pup is part of our daily routine. We go on neighborhood walks, enjoy playtime, and keep you updated with photos along the way. Your pet will feel like part of the family while you’re away! 🐾 In my home: Pets are part of the family! I provide lots of love, playtime, walks, and regular potty breaks. I keep their routines as close to home as possible. In my client’s home: I follow all care instructions carefully feeding, walks, medications, and plenty of attention so your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away.

“Linlin took great care of our puppy! He came back so tired and just wanted to sleep. She was very responsive and we know our little guy was well taken care of and played non stop with her! Would definitely recommend her!!”

About: I have a comfortable home with a large fenced-in back yard, and I provide full or part-time daycare and/or boarding. I can accommodate any work or vacation schedule. I have a 7 year old small, happy male dog who would love to have some company. He would love to share his above ground pool. I work hard to provide a safe, warm, and fun environment for your loved one. Please call to have a free trial play date to see if Zane and I would be a good fit for your family. My biggest requests are that you provide a copy of up-to-date shot records, proof of monthly flea and tick treatment, that he or she is potty-trained and can go up and down steps. My dog has all of the above. For emergencies and fun, my quiet neighborhood is located between 2 great full service animal hospitals and 2 lakes. I have my own dog, and I am a full-time pet sitter. All dogs will get round-the-clock attention and play time in my home. I have the same expectation when someone keeps my dog. I keep a fun, clean, safe environment for your dog. I use playpens with pillows for comfort, and I have food bowls. You only need to bring a supply of dog food and up-to-date shot records.

About: I’m a neonatal and critical care kitten and puppy foster mama and the founder of a rescue (Your Local Fur Mama). I board out of my home to help with some of the costs I incur from rescue life. I only take a very limited amount of dogs at one time (usually 2 or 3 tops) because it’s important to me that they feel at home. My husband and I both WFH and all our boarders get to hang out with us around the house, sit on the couch and snuggle, etc. rather than the typical boarding scenario where they are kenneled a majority of the time. Our kitty boarders get their own private room equipped with window perches, cozy beds, a litter box, food and water bowls, and lots of toys. Each room has feliway diffusers and a white noise machine to help with any stress and anxiety from being in a new place. I also have extensive vet med experience and am well versed in medication administration both oral and injectables. If that seems like it might be a good fit, I’d be more than happy to chat! Both my husband and I work from home with very flexible jobs which allows us to spend quality time and give individualized care to all of our boarders. My husband and I both WFH and all our boarders get to hang out with us around the house, sit on the couch and snuggle, etc. rather than the typical boarding scenario where they are kenneled a majority of the time. We have a fully fenced in backyard.

“Our Corgi just LOVES staying and playing with Elaina! She can't wait to get into the house when we arrive to drop her off. Elaina is so flexible and understanding when we need to book on short notice or drop-off/pick-up outside of the booked times. Hannah comes home exhausted (good thing!) and we feel very comfortable leaving her in Elaina's care! Already re-booked twice and will be booking again in the near future!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats and farm animals for the past 6 years for other people, and have had many animals of my own. I currently only work a few hours a week, so I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies any time of day! I take them out for potty breaks, feed, and play with according to their schedule throughout the day. On a leash, since I do not have a fence at my home.

About: H! I am an RN who works from home with a very flexible schedule. I’m a single mom to two teenage girls. They will be helping me out at times with the animals in our home, but they have been fully responsible for their own pets (from hamsters to their own cat and dogs). We all absolutely love animals and have cared for dogs from tiny (2 pounds as adults) Chihuahuas to Malinois to almost 300 pound Mastiffs. I’ve taken in and found homes for nearly 100 dogs and cats over the years and I am taking classes to become a professional dog trainer. I love my job as an RN but animas are my other passion. Our animals are not owned by us, they are our family. We are their guardians. When you come to our home, you will know animals live here. That is not because of the smell (we keep our home very clean), but because everything is set up for their unique needs. I specialize in tiny dogs as we have 6 chihuahuas from 2 pounds to about 5 pounds… then our big guy who is 10 pounds. 😜 I am very in tune to our dogs and have made it my mission to create the most enriching life possible for them. Our home is set up for tiny dog safety. We are careful and aware at all times of where they are. And we know how to meet their unique needs. Although my own dogs are tiny, I have had plenty of bigger dog experience in the past. I care for several of my friends’ dogs (Doberman, Malinois, Corgi, Boxer, Great Pyrenees, Mastiff, etc.) when they are out of town. I prefer to take in smaller dogs simply because our home is not large enough to accommodate a large dog well, although I may make an win a case by case basis. We do also have a cat and I feed the neighborhood strays, but my cat experience is less extensive. When you bring your pet to us, they will be treated like family. They will be a part of our day to day lives. They will sit with us on the couch (if you are okay with this) during movie nights, go on walks with us every morning and evening (and more as needed), they will go in car rides if they like them and you approve, and more. I’m available 24/7/365 as I work from home. I am a nurse with many years of experience working with several types of animals. Regular potty breaks and lots of snuggles will be available around the clock. I have a good sized back yard and your pet is welcome inside or out according to preference. I live in a neighborhood with safe walking areas for daily and more stimulating exercise. I enjoy trail running and there are many nearby trails for dogs with higher energy. I work from home and have several dogs of my own so your fury family member won’t be lonely.

About: I am a stay at home mom. Our beloved dog cocoa passed away after 13 years with us. We have four children (9,7,5,3) they love helping me care for dogs we watch. They mostly help with giving lots of love and hugs. We have been helping folks through Rover for over a year and enjoy having many repeat dog watching requests. I am a stay at home and homeschooling mom. Your pet would have many loving arms to be loved with. Our family loves caring for pets. We plan on owning a pet of our own in the future. I have a fenced-in large yard to accommodate for outdoor time and close to dog park for walking. I feel comfortable around larger dogs and know how to make them feel comfortable.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 16. Friends and family have relied on me to take care of there for a baby whether it be Just daycare, boarding , or to just give their pet a bath or feed them I’m currently on break from nursing school so I have plenty of time to care for your fur baby! I can provide walks , playtime , or boarding. I have a huge back yard for your fur baby to play and I have a labradoodle to keep your baby company. If your baby needs to be crated at any time I can provide that as well

Katelyn S.
“Kate watched my two dogs, a German shepherd and Labrador and my two cats AND a bunch of chickens in October 2024! She did a great job, every body was healthy and happy when we got home. I ran out of dog food while we were gone and she reached out to us about it. She went out and got food for them ( we paid her), she made sure every thing was taken care of and clean for us when we got back. She had access to the inside of my home to hang out with my dogs and cats and everything was exactly how we left it. She is very trustworthy and knows how to handle animals. We kept in contact with each-other often and I never felt uneasy while she was watching my pets. I got lots of happy pics of my doggies from her! We will use her again in the future!”

Joyce L.
“Joyce has always taken really good care of her dogs. They’ve always been part of her family. More than just food and water, she’s always made sure they get enough exercise, have ways to stay intellectually stimulated, and are regularly groomed. Any dog-lover would feel comfortable knowing their companion is being well cared for in all ways!”
