About: My name is Jess and I’m new(ish) to Broome County! I work for the county have my degree in Criminal Justice. I’ve previously worked with Rover in Denver, Colorado so this isn’t my first go-around! I've grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and now have 2 cats of my own! My mother was also a vet tech for several years and taught me how to properly interact with dogs and cats to make them feel safe and trusting in my care! It's also helpful to have her knowledge handy in case anything arises with your beloved pet that you or I may be concerned about. I also briefly worked as a secretary in a vets office in PA where i regularly handled distressed and anxious animals from cats and dogs to goats a horses! I'm comfortable walking, playing, brushing, and bathing your fur babies, whatever they may need! Expect lots of photo updates! I also have experience administering medications (injections and pills) I currently work for the county on a standard M-F 8-4 schedule. I’m awaiting a promotion that may, at times, require me to stay late if we’re in preparation for a trial but I’ll know well in advance if and when that time comes. I want to ensure you and your pet are as comfortable with my presence as possible! Please let me know of any and all rules/routines/ expectations so I can follow them accordingly!

“Hannah was AMAZING! She treated my dogs as if they were her own, even my small chihuahua mix who is scared of everyone and pretends to be a pit Bull. By the end of the second 30 minute visit they were on the same side of the doggy gate spending time together. She took tons of pictures which made us so happy to look at while we were gone. She even included pictures of the dogs food to show they ate and how much! (Our dogs only eat a little when we are gone, so refreshing to see they felt comfortable enough to eat with her). I recommend her a million percent she was extremely professional, easy to deal with, and again loved our dogs as if they were her own!”

About: My name is Michelle and I am a former teacher, now stay at home mom to two babies and one dog. I have always had dogs in my life. Growing up, I had a Sheltie and two rescue Beagle mixes. Currently, I have one sweet pup, a hound named Benjamin who is equal parts lazy, silly, and "follow the nose." As a former teacher, I know how busy life can get. I also know how hard it can be to find someone you trust to take care of your fur babies and I'd love to help. I'm currently available occasional boarding services (check my calendar for availability). I have a large, fenced in backyard. For boarding, dogs MUST be fully house broken, crate trained, and 100% good with children as I have two small children in the house. Not accepting puppies at this time. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play. I have one dog in my home, he is friendly and ready to play (or not play if your dog prefers, Ben's often a lazy boy, too)! I'm able to feed, walk, or crate your dog as requested. Dogs are allowed on the furniture.

About: I’ve raised and trained my dog for 9 years. I have also pet sit for people in my neighborhood. I have pet sit young puppy’s and older dogs and love them all. I am very good at reading dogs cues and adjusting to their needs accordingly. I enjoy catering to each dogs needs and building a walk routine that works for them individually. I am currently taking online asynchronous college courses so I have great flexibility in scheduling and am available Sun-Fri, morning, afternoon and night! I love taking walks and hiking with my dog, and I would love to provide this service for others. I am very attentive and notice dogs moods, needs and wants. About: I have had two cats all of my life, while also pet sitting my friends’ dogs when they went out of town. I am very familiar with both cats and dogs and I am happy to hang out with your pet when you cannot be there for them. I am taking a gap year from school so my schedule is fairly flexible. As long as there are set times that are clear I can make it work. Depending on whether you have cats or dogs will change the way I care for your pet in your home. With dogs, there will be more going in and out with walks and with cats I will stay in the home to make sure everything is up to your standards.

My cat can be shy when new people come over or if she feels likes something's up and will sometimes hide in those cases. She requires an inhaler due to a medical condition, so I worried this could be an issue if she hid. It turns out that I had nothing to worry about as I received many pictures of Josie in Lindsay's looking happy as can be. It means a lot to me to have a sitter that I trust that my cat also likes.”

I currently work full time, 4 days a week (6am-5pm) Tues-Fri. I have a very flexible schedule that will allow for local visits and walks during working hours in the Owego area. Outside of working hours I am available in the 15mi radius around Johnson City. Within working hours or near, I am available in the 15mi radius around Owego. I offer one on one attention to your animal providing meals, water and bathroom breaks. Also including plenty of play time, exercise, and local hikes.

I have a part-time career in social services, so Rover fits into the other hours of the day that I am free to work with your pet(s).
