About: My name is Jess and I’m new(ish) to Broome County! I work for the county have my degree in Criminal Justice. I’ve previously worked with Rover in Denver, Colorado so this isn’t my first go-around! I've grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and now have 2 cats of my own! My mother was also a vet tech for several years and taught me how to properly interact with dogs and cats to make them feel safe and trusting in my care! It's also helpful to have her knowledge handy in case anything arises with your beloved pet that you or I may be concerned about. I also briefly worked as a secretary in a vets office in PA where i regularly handled distressed and anxious animals from cats and dogs to goats a horses! I also have experience administering medications (injections and pills) I currently work for the county on a standard M-F 8-4 schedule. I’m awaiting a promotion that may, at times, require me to stay late if we’re in preparation for a trial but I’ll know well in advance if and when that time comes. He did a great job practicing administration, asking questions, and getting used to the words we use to announce actions to our cat. For the drop in visits he was on time, communicated clearly, and properly scooped the litterbox. He also played with her appropriately (proper "cat" play, not pushing the toy in her face). Vincent in general seems to be a kind soul who wants to do a good job, and we look forward to booking his services as his schedule allows.”

About: My name is Michelle and I am a former teacher, now stay at home mom to two babies and one dog. I have always had dogs in my life. Growing up, I had a Sheltie and two rescue Beagle mixes. Currently, I have one sweet pup, a hound named Benjamin who is equal parts lazy, silly, and "follow the nose." As a former teacher, I know how busy life can get. For boarding, dogs MUST be fully house broken, crate trained, and 100% good with children as I have two small children in the house. Not accepting puppies at this time. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play. I have one dog in my home, he is friendly and ready to play (or not play if your dog prefers, Ben's often a lazy boy, too)! I'm able to feed, walk, or crate your dog as requested. Dogs are allowed on the furniture.

About: I have had pets most of my life. I quit my job and started a non-profit, St. Lewis Foundation, which didnt work out, so all the animals in my care became my pets. They were mostly senior and unwanted animals, which is where my heart is. I am unemployed right now, looking for remote work . So I am home all day. I have the time to let your pup out as many times as he/she wants. If they are a little dog I will be right by their side. I am up 6a - 9p. I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. All my dogs have passed and I am missing a dog so much but cant commit right now. So let me love on your pup!

I work a lot from home only gone a few hours at a time if I do need to go out for any jobs or errands... About: I've always taken care of my family pets, and have dog-sat for family friends! I kept up with meds, food, play, and anything else the dogs needed or wanted. Anyone I've asked said that they were more than satisfied with my care. Over the summer, I'll be taking online classes and have a part-time job, so I'll be pretty flexible when it comes to stopping by or walking dogs! I unfortunately will not be able to offer services at my own home. I have dogs where that type of activity just wouldn't suite them.

About: My name is Jess and I’m new(ish) to Broome County! I work for the county have my degree in Criminal Justice. I’ve previously worked with Rover in Denver, Colorado so this isn’t my first go-around! I've grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and now have 2 cats of my own! My mother was also a vet tech for several years and taught me how to properly interact with dogs and cats to make them feel safe and trusting in my care! It's also helpful to have her knowledge handy in case anything arises with your beloved pet that you or I may be concerned about. I also briefly worked as a secretary in a vets office in PA where i regularly handled distressed and anxious animals from cats and dogs to goats a horses! I'm comfortable walking, playing, brushing, and bathing your fur babies, whatever they may need! Expect lots of photo updates! I also have experience administering medications (injections and pills) I currently work for the county on a standard M-F 8-4 schedule. I’m awaiting a promotion that may, at times, require me to stay late if we’re in preparation for a trial but I’ll know well in advance if and when that time comes. About: I have had two cats all of my life, while also pet sitting my friends’ dogs when they went out of town. I am very familiar with both cats and dogs and I am happy to hang out with your pet when you cannot be there for them. I am taking a gap year from school so my schedule is fairly flexible. As long as there are set times that are clear I can make it work. Depending on whether you have cats or dogs will change the way I care for your pet in your home. With dogs, there will be more going in and out with walks and with cats I will stay in the home to make sure everything is up to your standards.

About: Overview: I have always grown up with animals of all sorts, mainly small dogs, and now live with a cat and tortoise. It is named after the fact that he lives in a glass tank and sometimes forgets the glass is a wall. Also I set him free often to wander, and he's an adrenaline junky that loves to try to climb, drop, and crash into various objects and walls! - I raised salt water fish in my childhood home from lion fish to banana eels to pufferfish and idols and tangs! - My biggest dream is to have dog, cats, bunnies, ducks, and horses on my own homestead! pigs, goats, and any other animal would be fun too :) Experience (Personal, Pets, and Personality): Since moving to the city part time, my dogs and I have become very used to handling the hustle and bustle of the streets, especially Central Park. I volunteer at the Broome Animal Shelter to walk their dogs occasionally with friends. As a disabled person myself with pets who have had various issues throughout their and my life with some experience in basic healthcare, and lots of experience in first aid and crisis- any medical procedure needed to be done at home from syringes to needles to gauzes to bandaids, or even just hiding a pill in cheese- I am your guy! As a Filipino, I grew up with a very large family which includes having lots of animals around. But even in my own home, I grew up with a golden retriever, a havanese, and a poodle. Then two Havanese, and their cousin the Italian greyhound and.. another Havanese and... another poodle. I was the kid who memorized every dog breed, and wanted to visit the kennel and beg my parents for another dog. Our house was known as the place to house sit if a loved one was to go on vacation or anything. As an adult, I have lived with a cat each year that I could. Though these pets were pretty small in breed, it's actually my dream to get a dane or a similar sized and mannered big friendly giant. I spent a lot of my time at shelters, in nature camp, and at the nature center when I was a kid keeping all the animals safe. I have been that friend who pets immediately bond with when visiting someone's place for the first time. I was even such a frequent guest at the nature center, I even named one of the corn snakes "Bracelet" since she would hang around my wrist as I went to walk around the Greenberg Nature Center to greet, feed, clean, and care for the other reptiles. I have been an honorary member of the staff since I was 5 years old! I am a full time graduate student now working in Providence for 2 months. Since my work can be flexible and I'm located in the heart of the city, I can be available anytime! I have 5 repeat dog clients right now, and live with a cat and tortoise right now so I'm always surrounded by pets and happy to meet more. I will return to Binghamton August 2, and will be open again for house sitting then. When I am home in New York, I am available full weekends and holidays. I will be curious and courteous about whatever tailored needs your pet has so I can best respect and take care of your pet. For dogs- On walks, I don't just walk alongside a dog but I pay attention to their body, queues, and interests. During house visits, I'd love to keep them engaged by playing with them, keeping them active, and of course letting them rest. I am extremely well organized and I would ensure they get fed and taken out at requested times. For cats- I would make sure that they get what they need and want. From alone time to pets to cuddles to carrying. I would be on time with food, medicine, or any other duties. I would keep a good eye on your cat and ensure they get into minimal trouble, while also letting them roam and explore. For any other animals- I would just be honored to hangout with your pet, as an exotic pet owner myself. I would ensure I am well educated in the handling and care of your animal!
About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. Many different kinds, including dogs, cats, ferrets, rats, etc. I will treat your pet with love and kindness. I have a job where I make my own schedule. If you decide to board your pet with me, I will be on premises at all times. For boarding, I have a decent size fenced in back yard. I do have a 7 year old husky that has gone to daycare. He's been around a lot of different dogs. If your dog needs to be crated, I can do that as well. I am available to come feed your animal in your home. I can let them out and walk them if needed.

About: Taking care of pets has always been part of my life. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. As for walks, I have to active kids who are always willing to take a walk around. I currently work at the local school just minutes from my home. I come home middle of the day. I am home during the summer and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and one dog who is a big baby. About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway).
