I've always groomed my own pets and I can also give any medications or shots they may need for medical conditions. I'd love to take your dog for a walk or play some fetch in the yard! I'll make sure they feel loved and cared for while you're away. I'm a stay at home mom of 2 little boys! My schedule is pretty flexible as my husband works from home and can take over being with the boys while I tend to your pets. I can play with your pet in your yard or take them for walks! About: My name is Jess and I’m new(ish) to Broome County! I work for the county have my degree in Criminal Justice. I’ve previously worked with Rover in Denver, Colorado so this isn’t my first go-around! I've grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and now have 2 cats of my own! My mother was also a vet tech for several years and taught me how to properly interact with dogs and cats to make them feel safe and trusting in my care! It's also helpful to have her knowledge handy in case anything arises with your beloved pet that you or I may be concerned about. I also briefly worked as a secretary in a vets office in PA where i regularly handled distressed and anxious animals from cats and dogs to goats a horses! I'm comfortable walking, playing, brushing, and bathing your fur babies, whatever they may need! Expect lots of photo updates! I also have experience administering medications (injections and pills) I currently work for the county on a standard M-F 8-4 schedule. I’m awaiting a promotion that may, at times, require me to stay late if we’re in preparation for a trial but I’ll know well in advance if and when that time comes. About: My name is Michelle and I am a former teacher, now stay at home mom to two babies and one dog. I have always had dogs in my life. Growing up, I had a Sheltie and two rescue Beagle mixes. Currently, I have one sweet pup, a hound named Benjamin who is equal parts lazy, silly, and "follow the nose." As a former teacher, I know how busy life can get. I also know how hard it can be to find someone you trust to take care of your fur babies and I'd love to help. For boarding, dogs MUST be fully house broken, crate trained, and 100% good with children as I have two small children in the house. Not accepting puppies at this time. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play. I have one dog in my home, he is friendly and ready to play (or not play if your dog prefers, Ben's often a lazy boy, too)! I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. And the other is a young puppy and they did not have an issue with the "puppy behaviors". I worked a very long day and I was so happy to have them be able to watch them. About: Animals (especially dogs!) are my greatest passion in life. I have two dogs of my own that I’ve raised since they were 8 weeks old. They are my entire world! I am knowledgeable in basic dog training and obedience, and very observant and understanding of animal behavior. Nothing brings me more joy and happiness in life than being surrounded by the love and purity of animals. My dream in life is to open a sanctuary for stray dogs. I recently rescued a stray puppy in Puerto Rico and found her a forever loving home in the states, many more rescuing to come! I currently have open availability. I love hanging out with your pups and providing them with quality, love and care while you are away! I am a perfectionist and I give out the same level of thorough care that I would want for my own dogs! About: I've always taken care of my family pets, and have dog-sat for family friends! I kept up with meds, food, play, and anything else the dogs needed or wanted. Anyone I've asked said that they were more than satisfied with my care. Over the summer, I'll be taking online classes and have a part-time job, so I'll be pretty flexible when it comes to stopping by or walking dogs! About: I’ve taken care of and loved my own animals growing up, I have my own dog and two cats who I love dearly and work at the local Humane Society where I take care of 50+ dogs and cats on a daily basis!! I’m very experienced with behavior, giving medicine, you name it! I’m currently working full time, 4 10hr days so my availabilities are Thursday-Saturday for dog walking. About: If you are looking for someone to either check in on your animal while you are away or want them to stay at my home, I can provide the best, loving, and exciting atmosphere that will keep your animal happy and thriving. I have experience with animals my whole life. I have sat multiple times through friends and family. I have an apartment so not too big but I offer toys, a bed, and multiple rooms for them to explore. I will accompany your dog during their stay. I have had animals that needed medication such as insulin so that is no problem with me. If you need someone to walk your pooch, keep your cats company or need a few days of boarding I might be a perfect match. I am sure to help out the best way I can!
