“Brandy did a great job caring for my dogs, and ensuring that they were at ease. I also appreciated how she communicated via messages during this first visit, to find the best solutions for the dogs!”

“This was my first experience with the Rover service. It is easy to use! Once I saw the proiders in my area I chose Karissa for my pets(cats). She had so many positive reviews and a cat of her own! I met her ahead of my scheduled travel. She is astute and caring. I felt comfortable with her and her abilities to care for my pets/and observe my home while away. On return my pets and home were the same as I'd left them. One of my cats has history of urinary stones and Karissa was familiar with this health issue. Karissa is an excellent communicator, making the experience very reassuring. Me and my pets feel comforable with her excellent care and we've already scheduled more dates with her.”
“Ian was a super pet watcher for us he was very reliable and had great communication throughout a long day! I appreciate him very much. I could tell our pu ps were very quickly at ease with him and I did not feel stressed or worried myself. I would 100% utilize his services again!”

“Allison is an incredible pet sitter. I was very nervous to leave my babies for a few days, and they helped me feel at ease. Very communicative, and I really appreciated all the photos. Thank you!”

“Dawnlea is awesome with our dog and three cats. We have her do weekly drop-ins Monday through Friday. She has a calm and loving manner with our pets. She plays with and feeds them. The pictures she sends of our pets are very comforting to see them so well cared for.”

“Kayla was a patient and responsible carer for my two dogs. I felt confident of her ability to relate to the two very different personalities in an effective and kind way. Thank you so much, Kayla!”

“Monica was wonderful! This was our first time needing to hire a pet sitter and from the start of meeting her, I felt comfortable leaving for vacation with her taking care of my 3 cats. The updates were wonderful, any issues she had she contacted us instantly, and my cats seemed to like her a lot too! If I ever need this service again, I will definitely hire Monica!”

“Ashlee has been a wonderful help to me with dropping in to care for my rambunctious doggos! I really appreciate her scheduling flexibility, and patience with me being newer to the app. So glad I found you! Thank you for your help!! :)”

“Tia has been fantastic with my big girl Blaze! Always on time, provides pictures. She gives Blaze attention, play time, and potty time. I will continue to book Tia as long as I can. Highly recommend”

About: I have cared for every type of animal from childhood varying from dogs, cats, horses, and goats. I have cared for these animals from birth to end of life care while administering end of life medications. I’m currently available throughout the week and weekends while I’m in between jobs. I currently do not have any restrictions in my schedule for my availability. I do have a new baby at home and would like to be able to bring her to long stays if it is a good fitting for your family and pets. If not, I completely understand and have alternative arrangements for her. I have a (small) fenced yard and two small dogs (pugs) who can keep your dogs company. I can also crate if needed. The fence is not equipped for large dogs and is approximately four feet high.
About: I’ve had animals my entire life. I have also been taking care of pets for family members and neighbors for quite some time. I love meeting new furry friends and I hope to meet many more I am currently working full time, but I’m looking to move more into a caregiving job, working with animals more frequently. As of right now I can do morning and afternoon visits, as needed during business days I can come to a clients home and provide whatever care is needed, whether it’s taking a young pup on a long walk, or just hanging out with a senior pup in the backyard while they do their business and enjoy some sun. Or even playing with a kitty and some string in the living room.
“Chanse took excellent care of our two cats during drop-in visits and sent us pictures and updates of how the visits went each time. I would definitely recommend her, and will be booking her again.”

“She did an awesome job! Drop in visits right around the times we needed. Good pictures for updates while we were away. The animals had no issues with her and appeared to have a great time! We will use her again if we go on another out of town trip!”

I love all animals and would love to help yours be the happiest they can be. I'm available throughout the day to take care of your loved one. I can take care of a variety of needs including walking, feeding, socializing and more. Your trust in me with your pet is very important. And everyone's expectations with pet safety is different. About: I’ve been taking care of all kinds of dogs since I was just a wee one. We got our first dog when I was 2. I started taking in cats when I was a teenager. Animals just seem to gravitate towards me and we always become best friends. I am reliable, super friendly, and willing to go the extra mile for your fur babies. I work part time as a hairstylist, and hang out with doggies and kitties the other part of the time. Sometimes you might find my head in a book or on a fun diy project. I can be very accommodating to whatever your pets needs may be. I am willing to travel, take them to fun parks, and feel comfortable giving any medications to your furry little loved ones.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Anderson. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
