About: For me, caring for animals has never felt like simply “pet sitting.” They are family—and when someone is trusting me with a member of theirs, I take that responsibility to heart. I’ve been caring for pets since I was 13 years old, and today I help care for my family’s lively crew of four dogs and two cats. Lots of love. My goal is simple: while you’re away, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, cared for, and loved—and I want you to feel at ease knowing someone is genuinely looking after them. I work from home, with either a daytime schedule of 10 a.m.–6 p.m. or an evening schedule of 4–11 p.m. This allows me to build pet care into my daily routine and make time for meals, bathroom breaks, play, and companionship. Being home is only part of it; paying attention matters just as much. Pets can’t tell us what they need in words, so I take time to notice their habits, body language, and little requests for attention. Whether that means a nudge for a bathroom break, an invitation to play, or wanting someone nearby, I care about learning how your pet communicates. I do have focused work periods, so we’ll discuss your pet’s routine and care needs before booking to make sure my availability is a good fit. This is especially important for older pets who may need more frequent check-ins or a particular schedule. I want to understand what a comfortable day looks like for your pet and how I can help keep it that way while you’re away. I start by learning the little things that matter to your pet: their familiar routines, favorite activities, where they like to rest, and how they let you know they need something. I follow your instructions for meals, walks, bathroom breaks, litter care, and rest, with time for play and affection on their terms. In your home, I keep your pet’s routine as familiar as possible and treat your space with care and respect. I let your pet get comfortable with me at their own pace, whether they’re ready to play right away or prefer a quieter introduction. Senior pets are especially close to my heart. About: Over the years I have had experience with dogs, rabbits, fish, cats, pigs, cows, chickens. I grew up on a farm with cows, pigs, and chickens. As an adult I have owned a rottweiler (2011-2019) and labradoodle(2016-2020) that I absolutely loved and made me fall in love with dogs. They are now angels watching over me. I currently have five kitties rocky (17yrs), Simba (7yrs), Gracie (2yrs), Penny (2yrs), and Bella (1yr). During COVID I had pet and food rabbits and chickens for meat and eggs. I work fulltime during the day usually Monday through Friday 5am-4pm. I work part time on the weekends for a DJ which is usually just Saturdays 3pm to 11pm depending on the event. I enjoy my down time caring for my furrbabies and making sure they have food and water and clean litter boxes. I am always trying to find new ways to make them live a better and happier life. I have a split foyer with 5 cute and lovable kitties. I have a temporary catio on my deck for them to safely enjoy the outdoors. I live in a semi quiet neighborhood that I enjoy taking longs walks around. I make sure that the animal is comfortable with me and not scared as stress is not good for an animal. I love getting outside and going for walks so if your animal needs a walk, it will just make my heart happier to have company. About: I've taken care of a Cane Corse mastiff since I was 7, and I've taken care of French bulldogs since I was 7 as well. I can take care of big dogs or small dogs I currently work part time. I'm able to take your pets on walks, make time for playtime, feeding, and pay plenty attention to your pets. I care for your pets by making they feel safe, comfortable and loved while they're loved ones are away, following there normal feeding schedule and bathrooms schedules, especially on walks or runs.

About: I have been around animals for nearly all of my life, and have made it my life mission to assure the care and comfort of as many of them that come into my path as possible. As a former senior level kennel worker at a doggy daycare, a previous small animal specialist at various retail stores, and with animal shelter volunteer hours under my belt, I am surely qualified and would be elated to take care of your babies when you’re either away or have other priorities to focus on. As of a few months ago, I was working full time at a doggy daycare in Hughesville, where I fed, bathed, walked, and played with clients dogs all day. For over 2 years I was one of our two Senior staff members, meaning that I was also responsible for running the daily staff and assuring the safety and security of the pets at the facility. My additional duties included keeping track of feeding schedules, medication, and potty breaks to ensure the health of the animals as well. I love animals with all of my heart, as it is my life mission to assure each animal that crosses my path gets the maximum amount of care and love that I can give them (even if that’s just a head pat for a baby passing by!!) I currently do not work full time at the moment, as my priorities have shifted toward finishing my college degree at UMD, most of which is online, giving me more than enough time in my schedule to care for animals that I would be responsible for, whether that be feeding, walking, petting, or all of the above! I also am comfortable with house-sitting with the animals, and have had plenty of experience doing so. I typically very early mornings, and am awake until around 11, but that can always be adjusted per need request. Personally, my dog always came to my work with me where he was able to be around me for the majority of the day. When we are home, he is walked before my morning coffee, and every 4 hours after that. I have a pretty decent sized yard, and he loves playing fetch with any ball when we aren’t on walks. My baby only likes to eat at nighttime, so that’s when he is fed, as he is a small boy who would prefer to leave his food alone during the day. Understanding each individual dog, not only what nutrients they require, but how exactly they should eat as well, is very important. When we are not walking on a leash or playing in the yard, he is inside my home where we play with his favorite plushie toys! Come afternoon time, he gets one, out of a selection of delicious treats to assure his happiness and comfort throughout the day. Whatever way that the client prefers, I would assure the same level of happiness and comfort with their dog too!
