About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, I have a cat currently and family members have always had dogs and cats. I volunteered at the Humane Society throughout high school and have lots of experience pet sitting! 😻 I also used to foster kittens which I loved doing. I love being around animals and caring for them. I am a student working part time, so that gives me plenty of free time to check in on your furry friends throughout the day, take them on walks, and spend the night with them! About: I have loved animals since I was a little girl. Having grown up around dogs of all sizes, I’m committed to taking the best care of your fur baby. About: I’ve been in a constant home of taking care of animals from a young age. I’ve trained over 6 dogs for basic training and have homed three cats. I’m versatile when it comes to new puppies as well as senior dogs. I’m a part time student so I’m mostly free in the evenings on weekdays and the weekends. For stop-bys and walks, I’m also free anytime before 9 am. In my own home I’ve got a lot of land for my own pets to roam within our land boundaries. Walking is a big part of giving pets time for exercise as well as calmer inside moments along with breakfast and dinner. Taking animals on rides to introduce them to different aspects of our world (exposure- therapy).

Growing up I helped my dad with training his rabbit dogs and attending to their needs while he was at work or etc. I am born and raised in Amherst, VA. I own my own townhouse in Madison Heights. Although, the area is not fenced in there is a nice big yard for your fur-baby to get plenty of exercise and exposure to the sun and fresh air!! There is sidewalks in the neighborhood that makes it easy for taking walks. I am here to care for your fur-baby as you would. I will pet, feed, walk, play, brush attend to your fur-baby's needs. You and your fur-baby will be happy with my services. I do work 40 hours a week from home which allows me to have more time at home to attend to your fur-baby. Your dog/cat will be able to roam freely in the house unless otherwise requested. I do not work weekends, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I can easily crate your dog as needed. All dogs are walked on leashes when we go for walks. I respect your wishes in my home and your home.

About: My husband and I have grown up with dogs and taken care of them from a young age! We have experience with small dogs and large dogs, as well as puppies and senior dogs. My husband has a flexible work schedule that allows him to come home frequently and when needed for pet care. I am home midday in between working that allows time for walks, potty breaks, etc. For boarding services, we prefer small to medium sized dogs as this best fits our home size! We have plenty of space for walks at our apartment complex. We are happy to house-sit as well, if preferred!

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, horses, and rodents for more than a decade. I am very passionate and experienced with their personalities, needs, and care. I have also taken care of animals of all ages, even senior pets who need a little extra love and attention. I am happy to work with special needs pets as long as the owner works with me to establish a care plan. I am currently looking for full-time employment, so I will have lots of time to spend with your furry friend! About: i took care of my dog (and cat) as soon as i was old enough to! i would walk my dog daily, feed both my cat and dog, let them out for potty breaks, and clean my cats litter box! my uncle also employed me multiple times to house sit and watch his two >75lb (young) black labs! About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I am very relaxed and careful with pets so they know I am a friend and not an enemy like the mail man. I understand how important your pet because I have pets at home and they mean the world to me!! I love giving dogs and cats the attention they desire and all the petting they could ever want! I also enjoy walking and exploring new places. I have helped raising puppies 4 times with my family. I also know how to treat older dogs as I’ve had quite a few in my day. I have never had an issue with any dog I have came across! Never been bitting by a dog, not scarred of big dogs! I currently work full time from 8am to 5pm M-T, Fridays I work 8am-12. Steph my fiancé works 7:30 am to 3:30-4 she’s a high school teacher so it can vary. I wake up around 7 am to let our dogs outside and make sure all of them have clean water and a cup of food. I typically leave Mando outside as he prefers to run around in our fenced in yard than stay inside all day. When I get home I let the dogs out and feed again. Then it’s just play time!

I've had animals my entire life, and growing up I was the primary caregiver for all the family pets from a young age. I have experience raising cats, dogs, and birds. I love pure breeds and support responsible breeding, but I personally love to rescue dogs. My husband and I have made a lot of progress with our rescues, building confidence and obedience training. They've developed good habits through our work and are well socialized with dogs of all sizes, cats, and children (although we don't have children ourselves.) We use primarily positive reinforcement for training, never more than a stern "no" in response to negative behavior. The closest thing to "punishment" that we practice is gently isolating the dog long enough to calm him down if he gets too riled up and stops listening. I am not a trained professional, but if you have any behavioral issues you would like to work on I would be happy to help based on my own experiences! I occasionally ask my husband to accompany me on visits for safety or an extra hand, especially if it's a new client or multiple dogs. I am currently not working and am self employed part time, so I will have plenty of time to care for and play with your dog and/or cat! I have a leash tied to our porch rails for any dogs that I watch, or go outside with them on the leash to make sure they are safe. They are safe and comfortable in the house with lots of spaces to relax and play in, 4 bedrooms total.
