About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 3 years now. I can do various things including walking and bathing almost any dog. Taking care of dogs is my job and I love it! My work schedule is pretty flexible so I am able to do walks/drop ins pretty frequently throughout any day of the week. My best times would be before 12 and after 7 but I can typically do times in between as well with enough notice I would care for your pet in any way necessary by following any instructions you can give me. With my experience, I know how to keep dogs safe and happy!

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was 6 and I’ve had a pup of my own for almost 10 years! I’m here for all your dogs needs including walks, playtime, cuddles, meals, medications (if needed) and, of course, love! I want your dogs to feel safe and comfortable while you’re away and I don’t want YOU to miss a thing which is why I’ll send plenty of pictures of your fur-babies! I’m a graduate student on summer break so I have plenty of time to play, cuddle, and check-in on your furry friends! I want to work around YOUR schedule and offer my services when you need them most! I want to learn all about what your animals love! From your dogs favorite chew toy to your cats favorite sunny nap spot. I have a senior dog, Ginger, that I’ve had since she was 6 months and a 2 year old cat so I am super familiar and comfortable with dogs and cats alike especially their needs, habits, and personalities. I will follow any schedules/instructions you provide me including meal plans, playtime, medications (if needed), walks, etc. I will also keep the space as clean as I found it so you don’t have to worry about messes or any other stress when you return!

About: Hi! I’m a dependable and caring animal lover with years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I grew up with two dogs and have been consistently walking and caring for pets from middle school through college. I also worked at a doggy daycare, where I gained experience handling multiple dogs, maintaining routines, and making sure every pet felt safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m patient, hardworking, and reliable, and I truly love spending time with animals. I have a very flexible schedule and can usually accommodate a variety of days and times throughout the week. I enjoy spending time with animals and make pet care a priority in my routine, whether that means feeding, playtime, walks, check-ins, or overnight care. I’m dependable, responsive, and committed to making sure your pets get plenty of attention and care while you’re away. I always focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. I understand that every animal has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to make them feel secure and cared for. Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, I’ll follow all routines and instructions closely and make sure they receive lots of attention, patience, and love.

About: As someone who was raised on a fully functioning farm, animal husbandry has been a part of my daily routine since I could walk! I have experience with almost every domestic animal under the sun, but dogs and cats have always been very personal to me. I worked at doggie daycares/boarding facilities for 3 years, and am an assistant at a competitive showing kennel. I attended CATCH canine trainers academy as well. I would love to extend my love for pets to you and your fur family by caring for them as I would my own. I work part time at a private kennel, but have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. Caring for dogs has been my full time job for 4 years! Working with dogs as much as I have, I feel like I have seen it all! I care deeply about the health, safety, and mental well-being of your dog, and will do my best to give them an amazing time while you are away.

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I’ve grown up with — and cared for — pets of all shapes and sizes, from dogs and cats to fish, birds, horses, rodents, and even reptiles. No matter who your furry (or scaly!) family member is, I’m excited to give them the same love and attention I give my own. Pet care is already a natural part of my day. I take care of my cat every morning and evening—making sure she has fresh water, the right amount of food, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime. Since I’m already in a daily rhythm of caring for pets, adding walks or drop-ins fits easily and naturally into my routine. At home, my kitten is always the first one to greet me at the door, so I make sure she gets attention and reassurance right away. I keep her routine consistent—fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and lots of playtime and affection. When caring for a client’s pets, I’m very mindful of their established routines. I follow feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions exactly as given. I want every pet to feel comfortable and secure, so I do my best to maintain the rhythm they’re used to. Whether it’s my home or yours, my priority is making sure pets feel safe, understood, and well cared for.

About: I have six years of experience caring for dogs, including my own and pets belonging to friends and family. I’m dependable, patient, and comfortable following each dog’s individual routine. I can provide walks, feeding, playtime, bathroom breaks, and plenty of attention while keeping owners updated with photos. My background in behavior has also taught me to remain calm, observant, and consistent with every pet. I work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., so I’m available for evening visits during the week and have more flexible availability on weekends. I’ll always confirm timing in advance to ensure your pet receives dependable, unrushed care. I will follow your cat’s normal routine and all care instructions closely. I’ll keep doors and windows secure, refresh food and water, clean the litter box, provide playtime or quiet companionship, and send regular photo updates after each visit.

About: Animals have always been a central part of my life. As a pet owner myself, I understand that our pets are family members, not just animals. My personal dogs receive the same love, attention, and care that I would want for any pet entrusted to me. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have more than 15 years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats, including owning and operating a nonprofit animal rescue for five years. Through my rescue work, I cared for hundreds of dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including puppies, seniors, special-needs pets, and dogs recovering from illness or surgery. I am experienced with administering medications, monitoring health concerns, and recognizing when a pet may need extra attention or veterinary care. I know that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I will care for them as if they were my own. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide attentive care and accommodate a variety of pet care needs. Because I spend a significant amount of time at home, your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and potty breaks throughout the day. I understand the importance of maintaining routines and will work with you to ensure your pet’s schedule, feeding times, medications, and preferences are followed closely. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a quieter environment, I can provide the level of care and attention they need. Safety is always my top priority. My experience running an animal rescue taught me how to properly introduce dogs, recognize signs of stress, manage different personalities, and provide a safe environment for pets with varying needs. I have a securely fenced yard and closely supervise outdoor time. I can also accommodate medications, special feeding instructions, crate training, and senior pet care.

I will board your dogs or cats, or I can make daily check-ins at your home. I am currently retired and only work some part-time jobs. I am pretty flexible and will work with families to take care of your precious pets. I have a large farm and home and will crate your dogs as needed. They will love the open space for walks and play. About: I stand out because I combine years of hands‑on pet care with formal training in progress. At home I care for a playful 9‑month‑old pup, a tiny 18‑year‑old chihuahua, plus beetles and bearded dragons—so I’m experienced with both energetic puppies and delicate seniors, as well as exotic pets. My dedication to animals has led me to pursue a future in the pet care service field. I have earned many certificates for animal care such as certification for Working with Dogs and Pet First Aid / CPR. I’m available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. -5 p.m. for dog walks, and during those hours I’m fully devoted to caring for your pets. While I balance family life with a child at home, pet care is truly part of my everyday routine—24/7 with my own animals—so giving reliable, loving attention to yours fits naturally into my schedule. I am a very “by the book” person who values safety, respect, and trust above all else. If I enter a client’s home, I make sure to only do what I am hired to do, treating both your pets and your space with the utmost care. My years of experience as a housekeeper taught me how important it is to be trustworthy and respectful of others’ belongings, and I carry those same standards into pet care. Loving animals is one of my core morals, and I would never jeopardize my family, my work, or your trust.

About: I love animals of all kinds and have many years of experience caring for animals in both my personal and professional life. I currently own a wonderful dog and have owned cats, a bunny and a guinea pig. :) I don't know how people live without pets and always enjoy any opportunity to hang with a furry friend! I am comfortable caring for dogs and animals of all ages and with various care needs including giving medicine, baths, and picking up after accidents. I am always up for outdoor adventures and am comfortable going on lengthy hikes or just chilling and keeping your pet company. I currently work part time with a flexible schedule so I can be available during the day on weekdays as well as the weekend. I am also available for early morning check-ins and walks if that is what your dog/pet needs. I have pet-sat many times and am comfortable with all levels of care needed-from just stopping by to check-in to staying overnight and any amount of care in-between. Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Concord. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Concord.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
