About: I have taken care of animals since I was 10,family friends and neighbors have trusted me and I love animals I treat them just like big babys!! About: I’ve taken care of a verity of pets and owned anything from fish, Reptiles, Rodents, Cats, and Dogs. I can also do additional tasks such as cleaning and plant care. I am versatile and can stay at the house or commute. I am also experienced at giving medications to animals as well. Feel free to ask me any questions regarding the sitting or my experience related to pet sitting. I can let sit anytime before/after classes. I’m am currently attending Liberty University and am taking classes throughout the week. Feel free to ask any questions related to the schedule. I make sure that the animals are comfortable, fed, and refreshed before resting. If I am eating at the place I’m house sitting I make sure the animals are fed before I eat (also makes it easier to avoid prying eyes watching me while I eat). Before I end the day I make sure everything is done and that the house is secure. Before the owners come back I make sure to clean and wash everything (if the owners don’t mind me doing this).

About: i took care of my dog (and cat) as soon as i was old enough to! i would walk my dog daily, feed both my cat and dog, let them out for potty breaks, and clean my cats litter box! my uncle also employed me multiple times to house sit and watch his two >75lb (young) black labs! I’m currently working part time, so my availability to care for your furry friend is super high!! I am at your beck and call!! It would be my absolute pleasure to visit your furry friends, especially since I’m a college kid, and I can’t currently have any pets of my own! I am very comfortable using a crate and walking a dog on a leash!! I’m not easily intimidated and love love love big dogs! I am able to do well with the resources i’m given!!

I’ve cared for the tiniest Shih Tzus to elderly Terriers and even giant fluffy retrievers. With tricks like hiding pills in cheese to basic leash training tactics, I have lots of variable experience with the most stubborn of dogs. I’m a fresh high school graduate about to be college student at UTK, so I have all summer to care for your pets around the clock! Weekends, weekdays, morning or nights are all great times to hang out with furry friends. I work really hard the first time meeting an animal to establish trust, so tasks like baths, brushing, nail trimming, or medication giving aren’t so hard later. Additionally, I understand that sometimes our pets miss us or are afraid of the average garbage truck, and I do my best to give them extra love and affection during those hard times.

Growing up I helped my dad with training his rabbit dogs and attending to their needs while he was at work or etc. I am born and raised in Amherst, VA. I own my own townhouse in Madison Heights. Although, the area is not fenced in there is a nice big yard for your fur-baby to get plenty of exercise and exposure to the sun and fresh air!! There is sidewalks in the neighborhood that makes it easy for taking walks. I am here to care for your fur-baby as you would. I will pet, feed, walk, play, brush attend to your fur-baby's needs. You and your fur-baby will be happy with my services. I do work 40 hours a week from home which allows me to have more time at home to attend to your fur-baby. Your dog/cat will be able to roam freely in the house unless otherwise requested. I do not work weekends, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I can easily crate your dog as needed. All dogs are walked on leashes when we go for walks. I respect your wishes in my home and your home.

“Heather was awesome! My husband and I recently moved here and have a rescue that’s quite nervous of new people. Heather was patient and calm and met her a few times before sitting. She took her sensitivities in stride and gave her space the first few days. My rescue warmed up to her really quick!
