About: As someone who was raised on a fully functioning farm, animal husbandry has been a part of my daily routine since I could walk! I have experience with almost every domestic animal under the sun, but dogs and cats have always been very personal to me. I would love to extend my love for pets to you and your fur family by caring for them as I would my own. Caring for pets is my full time job! I am highly flexible and usually able to accommodate whatever you and your furbabies need. When house sitting, I will need to leave at least once a day to check in at my house, but otherwise your pets have my full attention. I want your pets to be safe and happy. I am willing to take on whatever routine you have established to make your time away as easy on your pets as possible. Safety and fun are my top priorities!

I am a college student with plenty of time in my class schedule to pet sit at peoples houses and regularly walk dogs or check in for letting the out I am happy taking dogs for walks or runs depending on what type of exercise they need. I am good with putting them in crates if they need that. If they need company for longer of periods of time i’m also happy to do that and not leave them alone for too long.
“Arabella was fantastic with my fur babies. Super reliable, communicated well, and really appreciated how affectionate she was to all of my fur babies. Definitely recommend.”

“Brittney was fantastic. She supervised our puppy while my fiancé and I did engagement photos. She brought her own homemade treats which he loved. Brittney made our lives immensely easier that day and clearly enjoys caring for dogs. If I lived in Charlottesville, I would trust my dog with her all the time.”

About: I grew up with dogs, and have owned both cats and dogs. I love bigger dogs (more to cuddle!!) and will insist on stopping my partner to pet every dog I see. I have experience dealing with aggressive/territorial dogs, have house-sat for households with numerous dogs and households that needed several days of care, and dealt with senior dogs. I can care for cats, dogs of all ages, and even once petsit a gecko! Generally, I will do morning care, a couple check ins throughout the day (lunchtime, evening) and then dinner and bedtime. If necessary, I can stay overnight. I do not accommodate pets in my own home (I do not have a yard). If dogs are outside at all I will be there with them, I will never leave a dog unsupervised outside the home. If we do walks then I make very sure that everyone is secure and safe. (I do have experience with escape artists)

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I’ve grown up with — and cared for — pets of all shapes and sizes, from dogs and cats to fish, birds, horses, rodents, and even reptiles. No matter who your furry (or scaly!) family member is, I’m excited to give them the same love and attention I give my own. Pet care is already a natural part of my day. I take care of my cat every morning and evening—making sure she has fresh water, the right amount of food, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime. Since I’m already in a daily rhythm of caring for pets, adding walks or drop-ins fits easily and naturally into my routine. At home, my kitten is always the first one to greet me at the door, so I make sure she gets attention and reassurance right away. I keep her routine consistent—fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and lots of playtime and affection. When caring for a client’s pets, I’m very mindful of their established routines. I follow feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions exactly as given. I want every pet to feel comfortable and secure, so I do my best to maintain the rhythm they’re used to. Whether it’s my home or yours, my priority is making sure pets feel safe, understood, and well cared for.
