About: I love animals so much I want to become a veterinarian. I have cared for animals before and have had some of my own. I am just hoping to get as much experience as possible. I am a full time college student and I have some free time after class and on weekends. I love going on walks and lounging around the house. I would enjoy the company of a furry friend to do these things. I have a decent sized home and a good fenced yard for them to roam around in. My house would be their home, they would be free to do as lay around as they please.

About: Desert Dog Boss: Your Pup’s New Bestie 🐾✨ I’m not your average sitter—I’m the dude who gets it. Grew up with mutts, raised pups on a ranch, and I’ve got that “one look and I know he’s hangry” radar. • Tail-wags only. I play fetch like a pro, cuddle like a teddy bear, and walk ’em till they flop—twice a day, no excuses. 🏃‍♂️💨 • Phoenix heat? Handled. Shaded yard, AC on blast, ice water, zero sunburn drama. 🌵❄️ • Meds, diets, crate anxiety? I got your back—treats and belly rubs included. 🍖🤝 • Bonus: I talk to ‘em. They think I’m hilarious. (They might be right.) 😂 10+ years of real fur-daddy duties—your dog comes back wagging harder than when you left. Book me. I’ll make ‘em forget you’re gone.
And yeah—you’ll get pics. Lots of pics. 📸 Desert Dog Boss: Your Pup’s 24/7 Command Center 🐾💻✨ I don’t “do” pet care—I live it. Work-from-home? Hell yeah—my office is wherever your dog needs me. No commute, no clock-out—just me, treats 🍖, and zero excuses 😏. • Your spot or mine: I’ll roll up with laptop 💻, toys 🧸, and bad puns—turn your couch into HQ. Bigger yard? Better AC? We go there. Zero extra charge 🚫💰. • 24/7 locked in: Mornings—breakfast & zoomies 🏃‍♂️🐶. Afternoons—fetch & naps 😴. Nights—last walk & bedtime whispers 🌙. Weekends? Extra playtime 🔥. • Meds 💊, diets 🍎, crates 🏠? Nailed it. Phoenix heat? Crushed 🌵❄️. Your pup comes back wagging like I owe him cash 🤑. • Bonus: I text pics 📸, voice notes 🎙️, and laugh at their zoomies—because they’re funnier than you. Book me. Your dog gets VIP treatment. You get peace. And I get… well, more dog time. Win-win. 🐕‍🦺❤️ How I Care for Your Pets – My Place or Yours 🏡🐾 • At my spot: Fully fenced yard 🌳, AC blasting ❄️, fresh water always full 💦. I’ve got one laid-back cat I crate and tuck away in my room—no drama, zero claws on your pup. If your dog needs a break, I’ll crate ‘em too—cozy, calm, custom. Walks twice a day, playtime till they flop 😴, bedtime cuddles if they’re into it. • At your place: Zero move—I’ll bring treats 🍖, toys 🧸, laptop 💻, and adapt to your setup. Use your yard, couch, routine. Quiet, clean, no mess. Either way: Your dog gets loved, walked, and comes home wagging like he won the lottery 🤑. Crating? Handled. Heat? Crushed. You get pics 📸 and zero stress. Book me—I’m your desert dog sitter, not a zoo.

About: Every animal MUST have a collar with a phone number on it in order to board at my house. I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life and I am currently working as a professional dog trainer. I have experience with reactive and aggressive dogs, as well as special needs dogs. I have flexible work hours; thus giving me the liberty to cater to YOUR schedule and your dog's routine. As a dog trainer, I understand how important routine and structure is to animals, especially younger puppies or senior dogs! For dog walking, I do offer to do training sessions during the walk (hence why my prices are higher). If your dog has issues with pulling on-leash, this is definitely something I can work on! I tend to wake up early, so each dog has their own outdoor time. Outdoor time is limited during the winter, and always supervised. Under 40 degrees, no dogs are out longer than potty/play requirements. Above 90 degrees, dogs only go outside to potty and play. I train and play with my own dogs daily, but just for safety reasons I do not allow client dogs to play with my own dogs. However, your dog will get individual playtime/sibling playtime, and I will maintain any manners/training by request. (Ex. Huck has to sit by the door before he can go out)

About: I’ve cared and watched over many different breeds of pets. I am a fond advocate of good animal care and strongly against abuse and neglect of any kind. I’m not biased to only dogs, but love animals of every kind. I’m currently working part time and also attend school, but I am not tied down to a 9-5 so I can generally work around things if need be. I have great time management and work well maintaining a schedule/routine. In my home: I will make sure they are well fed as instructed and get plenty of fresh air and socializing with me. In client’s home: I am great at following directions however the client would like or asks of.

About: Hello! I am a third year vet student here in Amarillo and a Texas A&M graduate. Pets are family, and I understand how important it is for them to be safe, comfortable, and cared for when you’re away. While attending school to become a veterinarian, I’m happy to offer reliable pet-sitting services that pet parents can trust. I have 5 years of combined veterinary technician experience: 3 years at a general practice and 2 years at an emergency hospital. Prior to these jobs, I worked at a boarding facility and animal shelter caring for both cats and dogs. If your pet requires medications, I can administer oral, topical, or injectable treatments with ease. 🔹New to Rover?🔹 If this is your first time booking, enjoy $20 off a booking with me using the promo code TAYLON42506 🔰AVAILABILITY🔰: With school on pause for the summer months of May through August, I am available from 8am to 9pm. Please see my calendar for available dates. When caring for your pets, my goal is to provide the same level of care and routine that you do! If you need to leave town, your pets will likely feel more comfortable in their own home than in a boarding kennel or daycare. When you book with me, you'll receive photo updates of your pet(s) at every visit, along with detailed descriptions of how they’re doing—keeping you informed and connected while you're away!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
