About: I have grown up with cats and dogs throughout my life. Both of my grandparents have also always had them, so I am very familiar with how to care for them. I volunteered time with my grandma taking care of the animals and cleaning at the Dekalb humane shelter when I was younger. I just started walking my neighbors three dogs recently. I track these walks on Strava, and you can check that out if you’re curious about how far we walk and what the route looks like. I love animals so much that I choose to live a vegan lifestyle! I am excited to meet your pet(s)! Right now I have a part time job and no kids. I spend time working out, but that can be worked around easily. I may be unavailable if I have a boxing match, and I have practice 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8-9 a.m. on Saturdays. I prefer to care for pets at other people’s homes because we have three cats ourselves. I am very confident in my ability to care for pets. I am very capable so it’s okay if you have a dog that pulls pretty hard.

“Deanna has skills. When our reactive rescue got out of the car, Deanna kept her hands relaxed and at her sides. She continued to talk with us and did not look at our girl. This is exactly how to meet an anxious dog! And our Portia responded by walking right up to Deanna and sniffing her. Portia walked with Rick this walkie. But Portia did walk between Deanna and him. She would normally be as far from anyone not us, as she could get! Most excellent! Our Mr. Baloo has never met a stranger and he was happy to make her acquaintance! We have already rebooked! About: **I am no longer providing overnight services until further notice.** I’m CPR certified for dogs of all sizes as well as cats, and my certification is valid through 2027. My journey with pet care began when I was thirteen where I would pet sit for family friends and acquaintances. I’ve been passionate about looking after animals ever since. Growing up with both a dog and a cat who were part of my life for nearly a decade deeply influenced my love for animals and inspired me to help care for others' pets while they’re away. My top priority is making sure every pet feels just as loved and comfortable as they do with their family. Whether it’s playing fetch, tug-of-war, going for walks, or just giving them company and cuddles, I’m here to ensure they are comfortable and having fun! I have experience administering oral medications and caring for minor injuries, such as bandaging hotspots. While I don’t currently have experience with injections, I’m always eager to learn and expand my skills. I am currently a student at PFW. I have classes Tuesdays & Thursdays (as of now) for about 2 hours. Otherwise, my schedule is pretty open! I have a very part time job outside of Rover, usually only ~5 days a month, so I have lots of time to spend with your furry friend! I’ll treat your pet(s) with the same love and care I’d want someone to give my own. My pets are super affectionate (and a little needy), so I’m more than ready to give your pup as much attention, cuddles, treats, and playtime as they’d like/need. About: For as long as I can remember, I have always had an animal in my life. I got a puppy at a young age and cared for him up until the day he passed. Since becoming an adult, I adopted a kitten and continue to care for him. He is now 6 and the light of my life! I have an extremely flexible schedule! I currently work part time with a lot of availability. I’m available at almost any hour of the day. I currently have a cat but he has his own space if tensions were to rise. I have a mid sized unfenced yard, but I know of multiple dog parks. I’m available to cuddle up with animals or wear out some energy!

About: I’ve taken care of family, friend’s, and neighbor’s dogs of all shapes and sizes! I absolutely love animals, and I’m willing to do whatever your furry friend needs. We have always had pets in our house, including one that needed long term care. If administering medication is what your pet needs, I’m more than familiar with it! I especially love big dogs, but like I said before…I love ALL animals, so please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have ample time to play with your animals! I run errands for my family as well, so frequent stops would be no problem! I am able to do whatever your dog needs as long as it’s at your own home. We have two cats, and it wouldn’t be smart for me to bring them here. However, walking, feeding, light grooming, and cuddling are all services that I offer!

About: Animals have been a passion of mine all of my life. I have owned and cared for many species including fish, reptiles, birds, hamsters, dogs and cats. My love for animals brought me to work as a veterinary assistant and later to attend the Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers. I have now been training and competing with my own dogs for 20 years and am also a professional dog trainer. As a trainer, I have earned the credentials to be an AKC Canine Good Citizen/S.T.A.R. Puppy/ Farm Dog/ Trick dog evaluator. With my veterinary assistant and dog training experience I have gained the knowledge to properly handle and care for many beloved pets. I can assure you that I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I am looking forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I am available most days. Mondays and Wednesdays I am unavailable between 9:00AM-5:00PM. I have plenty of time to provide services for you and your pets. If boarding in my home- you can use my kennel set up or bring your own crate. I have a nice, fenced play yard that I use to let my dogs and visiting dogs run and play (I do not let my own dogs play with visiting dogs). I also have a built-in dog bathtub that I can used to give your dog a nice bath (for an added fee) before they return home upon request. When I visit a home- I follow given instructions and keep the area clean. My goal is for you to not even notice I was there. When I visit to walk your pet-I follow instructions and keep the area clean. I remain aware and not distracted. This ensures your pet remains safe and engaged during the walk. If your dog is more fearful-I try to make the walk as stress-free as possible.

About: Both my wife and I have had pets since we were little. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and love spending time with them all. I work from home Monday-Friday, and my wife works from home only 3 days a week, allowing a lot of flexibility for potty breaks and play time. We are also home most of the time on weekends. We have a comfortable, fenced in backyard and a cage for inside if needed. We have 2 friendly dogs that have been around plenty of other dogs with no issues, and always love the extra company. Our 2 cats also get along well with dogs, and have always been around them.

I taught high school for almost 30 years at Concordia Lutheran High School and almost 8 years as a social worker. I’ve absolutely adored my students and clients and would like to shower my love on your pet-angel(s) as well! I have recently retired from my careers as a high school teacher and from social work. What this means is that I now have ample time to spend with your pet(s) each weekday and weeknight as well as on the weekends! create my own schedule on an as-needed basis for you…plus I usually have weekends free for ample time with your pet. I love to walk, play and give lots of love and attention so those will be incorporated frequently! I will treat your pet(s) and home with the utmost respect as I do my own. I will stay in frequent contact with you and will take pictures throughout the visit and send updates each night so you can be assured of my service and your pet’s well-being.

About: I am very caring and will provide a family like atmosphere. I will make sure the best possible care is given, i have been pet sitting since i was 10 years old for family and friends. I have 1 cats currently. I am a mother to a 7 year old boy, a 2 year old boy and have my cousins 7 year old daughter. I have experience with animals with social and separation anxiety . I have dealt with special needs animals as well. I am a huge animal lover and will always make sure that every animal is treated as kindly as possible. I will always make sure you will not being walking in on a mess or a hyper active dog who just wants to play when you would much rather rest after a long day. I have a decent yard and live in a neighborhood where I can take on daily walks to ensure excersise. About: Hi there! We’re a mother-daughter duo who love taking care of dogs! Our family has two loving dogs, Bojangles and Lexie, who are both rescues. They loves to run and play with other dogs and always have a blast with all of their friends. We are home during the day so there will always be someone here to take care of your furry loved one! I have experience as a veterinary technician and can administer medication. We have a 1.25 acre fenced in yard with a wooded area to play in as well. We do have four children ages 9-18, so we can only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards children. You are welcome to contact us anytime if you have any questions and we will happily send updates and pictures of your dog to you! We can’t wait to pamper and love your furry friend! I work from home full time and my daughter is home as well. We have a very flexible schedule where at least one of us will always be there for your fur baby! We follow all the instructions given to us by you prior to the visit and always make sure your fur baby is comfortable and happy! Your fur baby will get lots of play time, cuddles, and treats when they’re with us!
