I previously had a small blind incontinent senior terrier who has since gone over the rainbow bridge, so I understand the extra patience and attention required to make them feel comfortable. In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

About: Both my wife and I have had pets since we were little. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and love spending time with them all. I work from home Monday-Friday, and my wife works from home only 3 days a week, allowing a lot of flexibility for potty breaks and play time. We are also home most of the time on weekends. I have a decent yard and live in a neighborhood where I can take on daily walks to ensure excersise. I have a 2 year old lab mix named Freya who loves to be everyone's friend and will sure to keep them playing!
About: I love animals of all shapes and sizes! From being little to an adult, I have taken care of/owned all types of animals. Currently I have a Tibetan mastiff, a keeshond and a Pomeranian! I also have a 125 gallon fish tank. Animals have always been my hobby and I cannot wait to help give you a piece of mind that your loved baby is taken care of while you are away! Scheduling will be dependent on what time is needed. Care on weekends would be open to any time needed. Week days would have to be scheduled. I treat and love all pets like they are my own. I would ensure their safety, and make them feel loved while the family is away!

About: Through my experience in 4-H dog obedience school, I have learned how to effectively teach skills such as sitting, staying, coming, and heeling. I also understand how to use proper vocal tones to help dogs learn more efficiently. I have extensive experience caring for dogs both in their own homes and within my own. For visits at my home, I have a partially fenced yard, so I always use a leash for walks within the yard and throughout my safe, friendly neighborhood. My children also love dogs and will likely be around to provide plenty of attention during in-home stays. If I am visiting your home, I can let your pet out into your yard or take them for walks nearby. Please be assured that whenever we are outside of a secured area, your dog will always be leashed. I understand that your dog is a member of your family, and I am committed to providing them with the same love and care I give my own children.
About: For as long as I can remember, I have always had an animal in my life. I got a puppy at a young age and cared for him up until the day he passed. Since becoming an adult, I adopted a kitten and continue to care for him. He is now 6 and the light of my life! I have an extremely flexible schedule! I currently work part time with a lot of availability. I’m available at almost any hour of the day. I currently have a cat but he has his own space if tensions were to rise. I have a mid sized unfenced yard, but I know of multiple dog parks. I’m available to cuddle up with animals or wear out some energy!

About: I have been a dog parent for 5+ years and truly believe they are part of our family. My husband and I have been trusted to care for many friends and family’s dogs and love when our own dog has others to interact/connect with! ❤️ I am at home most of the time taking care of my own dog and keeping her company while my husband is at work. When I do leave the house, I normally time it so my dog is alone no longer than 4 hours at a time. When we care for pets in our home, we like to make sure they go outside at least every 2-4 hours for potty breaks and play time, follow their food and medication schedule, and make sure they all get the love and attention they need!
