“Jeffrey and Gisselle were great! We receive lots of updates and pictures of Winston during his stay. They have a wonderful fenced yard for the dogs to run around in. Winston had a great time - it was like doggie camp!”

“Bailey took great care of our dog, Nero, and we absolutely loved her service! She was so attentive and kind, sending us videos and pictures every day so we could see how he was. It gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend Bailey to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“I would absolutely give Melinda & McKenna 10 out of 5 if I could! Melinda was so responsive setting up a meet and greet with the introduction to her home. I immediately felt such great connection! Gracie Mae was welcomed for a long weekend stay. Sweet Eli was so welcoming and such a great companion. From the pictures you would have thought they were kindred spirits. The communication, updates, pictures throughout the weekend certainly put my curiosity to ease immediately just after the first day ! The love of their home to your furry baby is above and beyond! I’m looking forward to the next getaway and I know Gracie will be looking forward to her next stay! This is truly a spa retreat filled with so much love! Melinda & McKenna you are the best and thank you for the abundance of love!”

“Gretchen and Marc are the absolute best!!! This is my first time using them and I can not say enough good things about them. I.have a big, active, rescue weimaraner who has severe separation anxiety and is on medication for this. She is a bit high maintenance… needs lots of love and attention. Gretchen and Marc took such good care of her and sent lots of updates and pics. Clearly she loved being there, and I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing she was just fine! I will definitely plan my future vacations around their availability!”

“10/10 I never felt more confident leaving my pet somewhere before. They kept me up to date with how she was doing. They sent pictures and asked questions about how I did certain things. It was a great experience not only for me but for my sweet dog. She came home happy and unfazed that I left her there for a few nights.”

“Mikaela was amazing! Flexible with our changing schedule. She sent us updates and photos multiple times throughout the day which made us feel more comfortable about leaving our fur baby behind. “Stephanie was amazing. We will definitely come back with her. Our Beauty is getting old and feeling apprehensive. She usually cry and feels terrible when we leave her at her previous boarding place it is just heart breaking. This time was so different Beauty felt secure, loved, and happy. Stephanie is very professional, she very patience the day we meet her. Stephanie prepared Beauty before we picked her up. It was a very street free time. We love Miss Stephanie !!!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
