“Chayna was very kind, very responsive and sent us several photos of my babies during thier stay. I will definitely use Chayna again. I feel very comfortable leaving my babies with her.”
“As always, Caylei took excellent care of my disabled boy. This time, she has a bit of an emergency when he was unable to be expressed for urine. She took him with her to work where he had his bladder drained, saving him. Thank you, Caylei, for always being so competent and capable, especially with my special needs guy.”
“Tara is an amazing sitter! She took good care of my cat and sent me frequent updates during my trip. She’s super friendly and lovely ☺️☺️ I’ll definitely book her again for my upcoming trips since I know Toro will be in good hands 🥰”
“Brian and Yui are a super nice couple and took great care of our pups, Cole & Bella, over the Thanksgiving holiday. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in search of a great home away from home for their babies!”
“Dahlia took amazing care of Oscar. She was loving and kind to him and provided us regular updates with tidbits of daily activities. I could tell Oscar had a great time with her.”
“We would give Giselle and Jeffrey six stars (if that was possible). They took care of our dog Ben for 10 days while we went to Europe. Every evening upon our return to our cabin , we would get many pictures of Ben's day with details of his adventures. It was wonderful to know he was well and enjoying himself as we traveled. We recommend Jeffrey and Giselle any day and we look forward to using their services again.”
“After reading previous reviews and meeting Virginia, we knew this would be the perfect sitter for our senior dog. Virginia was very accommodating to Layla's needs. We will definitely be contacting her for future stays!”
About: I’ve personally been interested and training dogs since I was 10. As a young adult I worked at a dog daycare, volunteered at a dog kennel and continued to train and work my personal dogs until I joined the military. I’ve recently become a Certified Full Service Dog trainer as a veteran through the VA. I have experience working with both pet dogs and working dogs. I value integrity and helping improve both the dog and handler for future success. Excited to teach and learn for the community, hopefully expanding after! I’m currently a full time student but will still offer night walks and training sessions after class during the week. I’ll be available the full weekend for full day/ overnight drop ins, and training sessions! I have a high standard for safety and wellness. Ensuring the environment is safe and secure for the dog. Providing proper equipment for exercise, trainings, walks. Giving updates and information throughout the service.
“Melinda and McKenna were God-sends! We have a senior dog and we hate to leave her even for a day. Numerous photos and such a warm home was so assuring during our week away. We would not hesitate to use them again.”
“Amy was INCREDIBLE!!!! We have never done something like Rover before and let me tell you, if Amy isn’t available we will be moving our vacation around her schedule, she was so good!!!!! She sent updates throughout the day, everyday! Lots of videos and pictures as well! Our Willow got soooo much interaction with her dogs and other dogs, it was perfect for her!! We are so thankful we have found someone we can trust with our Willow! Thank you so much again Amy!!! Willow already misses Koda haha!”
“Johanna and Jerald took wonderful care of our two dogs while we were away. They were so kind and caring and sent pictures throughout the week to keep us updated on how they were doing. Their dogs got along great with our two and we just couldn’t have asked for anything better. They were treated so well, we were afraid they might not want to come home! We definitely recommend Johanna and Jerald and look forward to having them care for our “fur babies” again!”

“Nakeisha took great care of our doxie Penny! We received many regular updates and pictures and Penny seemed very happy there. We would gladly board her here again.”
“Sara was amazing with Cobe! He can get anxious and the daily photos and updates helped me know he was okay. When I picked him up he met me at the door happy and wagging his tail. He even went back inside to say goodbye instead of rushing to the car! Sara offers some grooming services and it was nice to be able to get those done while he was there. He came home looking nice and clean, but most of all very happy! Thank you, Sara and fam!”

“Chris was an amazing dog sitter! She and her husband were so kind and welcoming. Chris took the time to thoroughly understand our puppy’s routine, from food and treats to supplements and crate training. She did a fantastic job socializing him during his stay and kept us updated with frequent photos and detailed messages. We felt completely at ease knowing our puppy was in great hands! We will definitely rebook!🐶🐾💙”
“Erica did a great job with my buddy Thor. He was super spoiled and loved by her and her family. I was afraid he wouldn’t want to come back home 😂. I could tell by the pictures he was smiling, soaking up all the attention and love. Would definitely book him for another stay in the future ❤️”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Gillsville home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Gillsville.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Gillsville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
