“We used Jennifer's services for an overnight stay at her home. Jennifer was great to work with and very flexible around our schedule. Our pup Sadie had a great time! I would definitely use Jennifer again.”
“Tracey had excellent communication and excellent care for our dogs. When we first arrived our dogs went right up to her and were happy to be with her. She had a small fenced in yard which our goldendoodle enjoyed. We would definitely use her for dog sitting again.”
“Jess was so amazing with my feline fur baby!!! He stayed at her house for about 10 days and I got updates and photos from her without having to ask! It was a first for me leaving him in the care of someone and she made it so easy for me to not stress and trust in her. I would highly recommend to anyone with a fur baby like mine. She cares for your pet as if it were her own!”
“Tiffany did a wonderful job with our Evie. She sent regular updates and pictures throughout the week. Her home was very tidy, and she made a special space for Evie. When we picked her up, her kitty box had been cleaned, and all of her belongings were well organized. Evie is very shy, but she seemed to do well at Tiffany's home. We will definitely use her again, and we recommend her highly.”
About: Hi I’m Liz and I absolutely love animals! When I was younger I was always wanting to help out any animal I could find. I grew up with cats and a dog but once I got married my husband was allergic to cats so I never got to own my own cat. But I foster dogs on the side! I don’t work with any agencies, I just help certain life or death situations or senior pups who were denied proper care. I currently own 7 dogs ranging from all ages puppy to senior. I also own what most people call “difficult” breeds Akitas, Shibas, huskies, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Samoyed! I have a few puppies in training at my house and would love to share my knowledge of dogs with others! If you have training questions I’d love to help you and get you on the right track! I can’t wait to meet your pup! I’m currently working full time but I get off at 3-4pm each day and I am off Saturday and Sunday. I have a lot of wiggle room and would love to accommodate any way I can! I want to care for your pet in the same manner you do! I want your pet to feel like I am a second care human they are close and comfortable with. I will follow your instructions to a “T” so they aren’t left missing you too much! Right now I will only be offering your home for services but maybe some day mine as well :)
“Michael is awesome and our pup Marshall LOVES to stay with him! We get lots of photos and excellent communication throughout his stay and it’s very clear how much he cares about providing a safe and fun environment. I highly recommend his service and will certainly rebook with him next time we need it!”
“Jim was great sitter for my dog! He communicated and sent pictures keeping me up to dates white I was away. Bo felt very comfortable at Jim's place and made a friend with his dog Kodie! I recommend! Thanks again!”
“5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD! What a time Gucci had while on his first week long vacation away from us. He had a ball and we were heavily communicated to. He even attended a PAWTY! We will be back!”
“Rene was fantastic with our 2 pups! Got daily updates and the pups looked like they had a great time and felt like family 😊 highly recommended and will book with Rene again!”
“our second time: i just love how they treat him like their family dog. just how we do it at our home. he’s always so much more well behaved then when we left him. thanks diana and family. love yall dog sitting for us.”
“First time using Frida's doggy boarding service and it was nothing but amazing! I have a very anxious Pomeranian, and I was nervous how she would react being away from me. I think I was the one with the separation anxiety because my doggy did great with Frida! Frida was attentive, nurturing, she sent me updates with pictures reassuring me my Baby was doing great! She's very compassionate and will care for your pup 100% I will definitely use her services again. I feel calm knowing I can trust her and know my pup feels safe a cared for with her. Thank you!”
“I recently had the pleasure of having Sushma take care of my two dogs, Bubba and Yogii, and I can't express how thrilled I am with her service! From the moment we met, I could tell that Sushma has a genuine love for animals. She took the time to get to know both of my dogs, understanding their unique personalities and needs. Throughout the duration of her pet-sitting, Sushma was incredibly attentive and responsible. She followed my instructions to the letter, ensuring that Bubba and Yogii were fed on schedule, took their daily walks, and received plenty of playtime. I loved receiving regular updates and photos, which put my mind at ease and allowed me to enjoy my time away knowing that my pups were in excellent hands. Sushma’s warm and friendly demeanor made it easy for my dogs to bond with her. They seemed so happy and content when I returned home, and I could tell they had been well cared for. It’s clear that Sushma is passionate about her work and goes above and beyond to provide a nurturing environment for the pets she looks after. I highly recommend Sushma as a pet sitter! Her professionalism, kindness, and love for animals have truly made her a standout caregiver for Bubba and Yogii. I will definitely be reaching out to her for future pet-sitting needs! Thank you, Sushma, for taking such wonderful care of my furry family members!”
About: I’ve personally been interested and training dogs since I was 10. As a young adult I worked at a dog daycare, volunteered at a dog kennel and continued to train and work my personal dogs until I joined the military. I’ve recently become a Certified Full Service Dog trainer as a veteran through the VA. I have experience working with both pet dogs and working dogs. I value integrity and helping improve both the dog and handler for future success. Excited to teach and learn for the community, hopefully expanding after! I’m currently a full time student but will still offer night walks and training sessions after class during the week. I’ll be available the full weekend for full day/ overnight drop ins, and training sessions! I have a high standard for safety and wellness. Ensuring the environment is safe and secure for the dog. Providing proper equipment for exercise, trainings, walks. Giving updates and information throughout the service.
“Yari is the absolute best! Maya took to her right away, and the daily picture mail reassured us that Maya was comfortable and feeling the love! We’ll definitely be booking with Yari again!”
“Kassidy is a top notch dog sitter! I believe my pup had the best time roaming her fenced in property and was sad to leave. Kassidy provided updates and photos and ensured Priscilla was loved and cared for the entire time. I would highly recommended!”
“Stosh is extremely responsive, engaging and clearly loves dogs. When my flight was 4 hours delayed due to weather and I show up frazzled and apologetic, he was completely understanding and accommodating to the change. He sent us pictures and our dog came home tired from a great walk and not stressed-out needing time to decompress like she does from the usual kennel/dog boarder company. I couldn’t be more grateful. Please don’t use him because his schedule is already full and I had to rebook several weeks away. He’s that good… so please, stay away — so we can use him! 😊”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their White Sulphur home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your White Sulphur.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your White Sulphur sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
