“We used Jennifer's services for an overnight stay at her home. Jennifer was great to work with and very flexible around our schedule. Our pup Sadie had a great time! I would definitely use Jennifer again.”

“Tara is an amazing sitter! She took good care of my cat and sent me frequent updates during my trip. She’s super friendly and lovely ☺️☺️ I’ll definitely book her again for my upcoming trips since I know Toro will be in good hands 🥰”

“Ben seems to do really well in the environment Yui creates for doggy daycare and overnight stays. Our dog has food allergies and some anxiety so he licks a lot. He came home happy, his skin in great shape and I think he enjoyed his overnight stay with some dog friends based on the pictures we received.”
“Chevie has so much fun at Cassandra’s! I love all the pictures and videos (and doggy ice cream on hot days!). She confirmed for any allergies before giving any treats which I appreciated as well :)”

“Tammy was very responsive and even sent daily pictures of my girls (Helen and Heidi) to me while I was on vacation! Highly recommend to anyone in the ATL/north ATL to book with her! Thanks Tammy, -Reid”

“Amy was wonderful. She watched our 2 dogs while on fall break. She sent us lots of photos and updates during their stay and even asked questions when needed. I would recommend and will definitely be bringing my dogs back to see Amy.”

“Tiffany did a wonderful job with our Evie. She sent regular updates and pictures throughout the week. Her home was very tidy, and she made a special space for Evie. When we picked her up, her kitty box had been cleaned, and all of her belongings were well organized. Evie is very shy, but she seemed to do well at Tiffany's home. We will definitely use her again, and we recommend her highly.”

About: I have taken care of many dogs/cats. My family and I love all animals and are excited to have furry visitors to love on. I work three days out of the week night shift! I have plenty of time to love on fur babies and meet their needs! Im always up early and ready to start the day! We have an open space home and an open space yard away from the road. Plenty of space to run around or walk around leashed or unleashed. We do not have any other animals in our home besides our two toddlers who are boys who love any animal.
“It was our first time leaving Bo with Lauren and her family. She sent lots of pictures and kept us updated on him during his stay. He enjoyed his stay and came home wore out from all the fun he had with her two babies, Fynn and Gwenn! We will definitely be using them again! :)”

“When I say that Caylei is amazing, I really mean that. My cat, Tim, has special needs and can be temperamental/ really grumpy, at times. He has been fired from several boarding facilities for his bad attitude. Well, Caylei was willing to take him on and not only that, her care and patience was rewarded with a super happy cat all week! I am truly so thankful to have found her. She sent me updates, photos, and videos while I was gone, which really helped ease my mind. We have a few other trips planned that I wasn't sure we would be able to take if Tim misbehaved for her, too, but everything went significantly better than I ever hoped. Caylei is smart, caring, knowledgeable, and very competent in pet care, even in special circumstances. I can't recommend her enough.”

“Natalie is fantastic at what she does. She watched my pup for almost a week and sent update pictures (per request) of my dog. She has a huge fenced in back yard that he was able to run around in and blow off some steam. Even with my dog being a little hesitant around new people and environments, Natalie made him feel right at home. Will definitely be using Natalie to watch my dogs again in the future. Thank you so much!”

“Michael and Nikki did an outstanding job watching over my doodle Ruby. She loved her stay there and got lots of exercise playing with their dogs. I’ll use them again to sit. Highly recommend. Thank you both!”

“I can not express enough how happy we were with Jayne! This was our first Rover experience and she put us at ease. From the moment we dropped them off, we knew they were in good hands. After we left, she sent updates with pictures attached showing how happy and content they were. What a relief!! No doubt in my mind they will be happy when we use her again.”

“We are sooooo glad we found Johanna and Jerry! This was our second time to leave our dogs with them and we couldn’t have had a better experience. They treat our dogs like family which allows us to enjoy our vacation even more. What a blessing!”

“Frida did an excellent job watching my dog! She was very communicative, friendly, and made me feel completely at ease the entire time. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and would happily book with her again.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Leila. During a very personally difficult week, she took in my two dogs on short notice and cared for them as if they were her own. Knowing my dogs were safe, happy, and loved gave me one less thing to worry about. Her kindness, flexibility, and genuine care meant more to me than she will know. I am incredibly grateful and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate.”
“Erica is one of the most responsible, communicative dog sitters I have ever had care for my dog. She has a huge heart for pets and taking care of them. I will definitely book Erica the next time I need drop-in care. She took great care of my dog and property.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lawson Highlands
This was the first time leaving my dog with anyone. Natalie sent daily updates with pictures. Her fenced in backyard was wonderful to allow my 50 lb mixed breed to run. Jax seemed so happy there and believe he would have gladly stayed and been part of their family! I will definitely be using her again and recommending her to others.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Lawson Highlands home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Lawson Highlands.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Lawson Highlands sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
