About: All my life I’ve been obsessed with dogs 🐶 When I was finishing up nursing school, I needed to find some part time work to help make ends meet. I found a job as a kennel technician at a commercial dog boarding facility - where I mostly cleaned up to 36 dogs daily messes and gave them social enrichment. I quickly jumped up the short ladder of management and took over as CEO right around my first year mark of employment. I have cared for hundreds, possibly a thousand plus dogs in the last half of my entire lifetime. I’ve worked hard to help dogs and owners alike understand eachother better - communication often needs no words. I specialize in “project pups”, socialization and reactivity. I’ve taken care of newborn puppies to teenage obedience school dropouts - through the medically fragile & elderly pooches on palliative care & absolutely everything in between. I’ve worked in a rescue as an adoption coordinator and had the extreme pleasure of helping people and pooches find their forever spaces together. Along with rescuing over a dozen dogs of my own over the years & nursing several back to health from horrific conditions. Dogs are my passion - simple as that. Nothing makes me happier than helping a dog & owner relationship thrive. I am a stay at home mom, my boys are 2 & 3 years old. They’ve been raised around dogs & already have learned a healthy respect for their space. I am hyper vigilant & always err on the extreme side of caution for everyone’s safety - especially when it comes to those tricky resources. Other than weekly appointments on Mondays - we have a very flexible and open schedule. Our yard is fully fenced with 6 foot - reinforced wood fencing. Gates are double locked to keep toddlers from opening them - dogs too. I have a 10 year old spayed female border collie that I picked from her litter at 3 weeks old. She’s my right hand gal and socially bulletproof when it comes to hanging out with her furry friends. I often used her as the “Ice Breaker” dog when I ran the boarding facility - meaning she did all the temperament testing for any newly boarded dogs we were socially unsure about. We have multiple baby gates, and crate option for separation of space. A dog door built into our back door leading into our fully fenced, toddlerized but maintained, grassy residential yard on a quarter acre. We live in a very quiet tiny town on an even quieter little street, perfect for safely regulated walks and training opportunities.

With my years of experience both personally and professionally, and my special skills for medical and emotional complexity, I know I can provide a pet-care experience where trust flows in all directions. Pet-care is my main job (and joy) which I orient the rest of my living schedule around. I have lots of flexibility to form my schedule around your animal's needs. My most commonly booked form of pet-sitting is overnight care in the pet's home. This can put the pets at ease and lets them maintain their usual routines. Having years of experience with overnight stays, I am diligent and thorough when it comes to keeping your home and animal family safe: I always lock all doors and windows when I am away, unless given different instruction. I am always aware of closing doors and gates behind me so no pets can escape. I also offer visits / drop-ins throughout the day, and am consistent and timely in these visits.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14. Whenever my parents need it I care for their elderly lab mix. Also, I had a dog I loved dearly who I lived with and loved for 6 years. He was an Aussie collie named Buddy and I miss him dearly. Every dog I watch now I care for with the same gentleness and patience I treated him with. Pet care is my full time job currently. I am quick and responsive. I’m very eager and available to spend some time with a dog or cat I am not currently living somewhere where I can host boardings, but I hope to in the very near future, as I am moving at the end of the month
