About: I am a current vet student at OSU, and I have worked in a small animal general practice for about 3 years. I have house sat for families for about 6 years consistently. I am from Chicago and left behind our family dog, looking to fill the void with some new furry friends! Being a full time vet student can take up a majority of my time, but I adjust my schedule to adapt to the pets normal routine. I always adjust to owners schedule, to feed, take outside, or give medication at the right time. I am unable to house clients in my apartment, but I am comfortable staying at clients homes. I am more than willing to give baths or nail trims if supplies are available. I always like to meet new friends once or twice before my stay to build trust, and to get to know the day to day tasks of your furry loved one! I enjoy sharing photos to keep owner updated on their pet’s well being.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I’ve played fetch with them, trimmed their nails, and given them baths. I have a cat and bunny 🐰 that have stolen my heart ❤️. Cats, especially, want to sit in my lap or lay on me. My friends and family choose me because I am responsible, so they know their pet will be well taken care of. I am a teacher, so I have time in the summer when many are away on vacation. During the week, I have some long lunch breaks that allow me to come check on pets. At your home, I’ll follow your directions precisely to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible because stability is key. Either way, they’ll be played with, talked to, well-fed, and cuddled.

About: I enjoy being outside and dogs make it even better! I will update you with as many or few details as desired about your pet's behavior and well being. They live with you full time so let me know what's important to focus on. I am currently available most weekdays and flexibly schedule around taking care of my own dogs, projects, and errands. I understand that sometimes plans change and I can usually work with you. My dogs are older and chill - the ideal guest dog is mature and relaxed, and able to integrate smoothly with other dogs. Everybody stays safe when the dogs interact, supervised or separated. I live in a semi-rural location where your dog will have access to an indoor open floorplan with carpet and stairs, fenced deck and outdoor area, as well as on-leash access to an unfenced forest property and surrounding roads/trails.

About: I grew up with a wide range of animals from ducks and chickens to rabbits and dogs. I have spent the last 6 years caring for my cat and two dogs, and since moving I'm looking to bring that same love and passion for my animals to someone's furry creature in need of care. I'm currently a student who only has class in the mornings, and so I'm available from 12-8 for dog walking, and I am free Friday-Sunday for any time boarding, and during the week have to pet drop off at 8 from boarding. I have a fenced backyard providing a safe and structured area for play and potty for your pet. I can provided crated care if needed, and a large house space to facilitate all the necessary zoomies. I've spent the last two years volunteering at the Safe Haven Animal Shelter and understand every animal requires patience, safety, and to kindness and look forward to proving that to your furry friend!

During pet check-ins, I focus on making sure each animal gets the individual attention and care they need. I always let dogs spend as much time outside as they want - whether that's a quick potty break or a longer play session in the yard. I pay attention to their energy level and preferences that day. I believe quality time is just as important as meeting basic needs, so I make sure to engage with each pet through play, cuddles, or simply keeping them company. For more active dogs, I'm happy to take them on short walks during my visit to give them extra exercise and mental stimulation. I follow the specific instructions and routines that pet parents provide, but I also adapt to what the pet seems to need in the moment. Some days they might want to play fetch, other days they just want someone to sit with them. I always make sure they have fresh water, food if needed, and that they seem comfortable and content before I leave. I provide updates to pet parents so they know how their furry family member is doing, including any highlights from our time together.
