“This was the second time using Holly for a trip and she was awesome just like the last time. I always feel so comfortable knowing she’s looking out for my baby girl. Thank you so much.”

“We couldn’t be more grateful for Kristin! She took such wonderful care of our sweet girl - lots of walks, playtime, and love. She also sent us regular updates and the cutest pictures, which made us feel so at ease while we were away. We could tell our dog was super happy and comfortable. Would absolutely book with Kristin again! Highly recommend!”

“I can’t recommend Haley enough. She stepped in on extremely short notice, taking over my cats’ care late the evening before their visits were set to begin, and was incredibly kind, professional, and accommodating from the start. My cats were very stressed after a difficult experience with another sitter, and during her first visit she spent extra time with them to help them feel safe and comfortable. Her calm, patient, and gentle approach made such a noticeable difference in their stress levels, and I truly believe her care helped them settle. She was also excellent with communication. She kept me informed about any visit time adjustments, sent wonderful photos, and was very understanding of any of my check-ins, especially during that first visit when I was understandably anxious. She was consistently sweet, reassuring, and thoughtful throughout the entire experience. It’s such a relief finding someone who genuinely cares. I’m incredibly grateful she was willing to step in when we needed help, and I would absolutely trust her with my cats again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, reliable, and attentive sitter.”

“Jessica was superb. This was my first time using the Rover app, and of course I was nervous. Jessica eased my nerves after her first visit and I would love to have her help in the future. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my fur babies!”

“Thank you Leah for taking wonderful care of Gracie! I enjoyed the trip and never worried about my sweet Gracie because I knew she was in great hands! I highly recommend Leah!!!”

About: I have had a dog my whole life, and my mother is a veterinarian technician who has taught me about pets and how to care for them. I am currently a college freshman with classes everyday but Thursdays. I am also free on most weekends. I live on campus so transportation is not an issue. I will take to any needs in your home, and I will also be sure to leave your home as I found it. I have a fenced in yard as well if ever needed.
“Nicole is an excellent and responsive communicator, which was very important due to this being the first time ever using Rover, let alone a pet sitter. She provided care and attention with my GSD that mirrored the texts and pictures I received throughout the check-in. Our GSD made a new friend 🧡 I confidently booked her again for an upcoming multi-day trip where she will be staying at the house for the duration. I do not typically leave reviews, but this was my privilege for a deserving professional.”

“Lisa was a pleasure for us. When I first asked Lisa for taking care of my Cavalier King Charles Madison, she responded very quickly. I am new to Murfreesboro. I didn’t know anyone yet that could take care of my girl. She came over to my house and we had a little meet and great. Madison really liked Lisa. They got along very well. I could tell that she really liked animals. While I was gone she sent me photos of their time together and gave me an update about how Madison was getting along. We had a very good experience with Lisa.”

About: Hi! I’m a high school teacher who teaches culinary arts. At home, I have a golden retriever, Saffron and a Labradoodle, Leo. I live on 2 1/2 acres, one of which is fenced in and perfect for furry friends to run and play! I am a teacher and gone from 7 am to 3:30 pm, but my parents live next door and watch my animals when I am away. Growing up, my brother had a service dog who was part Great Dane and part Black Lab. He became part of the family! I think that’s what started my love for animals. Since college, I’ve had at least one pet. While in Culinary school, I worked long hours. For Christmas, I got my cat, Basil. She was at the door with a “meow” at the end of long days in the kitchen. When I began my career as a culinary teacher, I bought my first house with a back yard and almost immediately added my girls, Sage and Sketch to the household! I work full time as a high school teacher. but live next door to my parents who watch over my pets. They love them as if they were their own! I have an acre, fenced in back yard. My dogs love the country, running and playing in the back yard! They are house dogs, but love the chance to run as much as possible.

“Cassie was great with my big dogs and very communicative. This was my first time booking a pet sitter and she made the whole process comfortable. I highly recommend her and hope to book with her again.”

About: i’m here to love and take care of your fur baby just as i would my own! i love animals i actually have 3 dogs and 3 cats my self. i walk and take care of all my dogs everyday so it wouldn’t be anything new or challenging, but if so i’ll still take on the challenge! my special skill is that i’ve been taking caring of my own pets for over a decade and i also work at a pet-store so i have gained knowledge about animals from that as well! i have 3 dogs of my own that i feed & walk daily so it won’t be anything i don’t always do my self ! i will take care of them just like it’s my own like i previously mentioned. i would never do anything i wouldn’t do to my own pets

About: I grew up with my dad having miniature schnauzers and have been around friends with dogs as well. I’m always amused when the biggest dogs think they’re the smallest lap dog. I’m lucky enough to have a remote job with flexible hours. I have an hour lunch period to utilize which is also beneficial to being able to come out as needed. I am such a detail oriented rule follower - so you can be certain any directions you leave will be followed perfectly. I will treat every home like it’s my own and leave it as I found it.

This is the first time we’ve worked with Molly, and we will definitely contact her again. She obviously has a love for animals and was able to bond with our two labs and two cats. She is quick to respond and provides all the details. She also did a few extra things around the house outside of the pets, and she kept everything looking exactly like it did when we left (which hasn’t been the case with some other sitters we’ve used). We highly recommend working with Molly.

We are so grateful to of found Sam to watch our cats while away. She sent lots of pictures for each visit and kept us updated on everything. She was very professional and you could tell how much she loves animals. Our cats warmed up to her right away. We highly recommend her, thanks Sam!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
