They run to her when they see her walk out the front door and you can tell from her daily pictures that they are comfortable and happy. She communicates regularly and informs us of any concerns. About: Hi! I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies! 🐾❤️ I’ve been pet sitting for over 14 years, and caring for animals is something I genuinely love! I know pets are family, and finding someone you trust to care for them is so important. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I offer boarding in my home, drop-in visits, and occasional house-sitting stays. Our home has a fenced-in yard, and I love giving pets plenty of attention, affection, and opportunities to play, relax, and feel at home. I have three dogs of my own—a Lab mix, a Husky mix, and a Shih Tzu—as well as two cats, so animals are a big part of our family! I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel comfortable in my care. I’m also a mom of three little ones, so we have a busy, loving household. I always want to make sure every pet is a good fit for our home and feels safe and comfortable during their stay. I’m a big believer in meet-and-greets before booking! I love giving everyone a chance to meet, get comfortable with one another, and make sure it’s a good fit for both your pet and my family. I want you to feel confident and at ease knowing who will be caring for your fur baby. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pets behind, and I want you to feel confident that they’re in caring hands. I’m happy to send pictures and updates so you can see how your babies are doing while you’re away! Whether your pet needs a cozy place to stay, a friendly face to check in on them during the day, or someone to keep them company while you’re out of town, I’d love to help. I’ll treat your pets with the same love and care I give my own. ❤️ Feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! 🐶🐱💕

About: I have 2 dogs and a cat, and have had 8 dogs, 22 cat ,12 birds, and a goat at the same time growing up and I took care of them all. I can walk any dog no problem have been training our puppy to walk around loose lease. I’m a stay at home mom of 3. So I can drop in as much as needed. I have worked with very skittish dogs on multiple occasions. I will take “aggressive” dogs as a case by case. I have been taking care of animals for most of my life. It started by cleaning litter boxes and giving cats water to taking care of 43 animals by myself. I volunteered at different animal shelters in the different places I have lived at. My husband use to be a K9 handler in the Air force, So I learned training Techniques from him and trained my Golden Retriever with the things I have learned. I am a stay at home mom. We have Our normal Appointments that I am not available for but while they are in school I am Home most days. I have a fenced yard and plenty of room for them to play. We love to just sit around and hang out with our animals, so we would Treat your pets just like ours.

About: I bring extensive professional experience in animal care and behavior, including years in shelter leadership and hands-on behavior work with fearful, anxious, and reactive animals. My background includes behavior assessment, stress reduction, enrichment planning, and individualized care for dogs who struggle with transitions, confinement, or unfamiliar people. I am especially comfortable working with dogs who need structure, patience, and clear communication rather than force or correction. I prioritize low stress handling, predictable routines, and meeting dogs where they are emotionally, not just physically. My goal is always to keep animals safe, supported, and understood while their people are away. I maintain a flexible, well-managed schedule that allows me to accommodate a wide range of client needs, including weekdays, weekends, and varying visit times, with appropriate advance notice. I care for pets by balancing structure with relationship-building. I focus on creating predictable routines, clear communication, and calm expectations while also prioritizing rapport, confidence, and emotional safety. I pay close attention to body language and stress signals and adjust care in real time to meet each pet where they are emotionally. Rather than forcing compliance, I help animals work through fear, overstimulation, or uncertainty at a pace they can handle. Whether in my home or a client’s home, my goal is to create a low-stress environment where pets feel safe, understood, and supported, which allows genuine progress and trust to develop. My pets at home enjoy structure along with play and lots of quiet time. My dog, Albany, enjoys finding hidden treats in a fenced backyard. My three cats, Duchess, Wanda, and Addie, enjoy plenty of naps, wand toy play time, and many hours of cuddling and watching tv.

About: I've grown up my whole life around all sorts of animals. I've worked as a dog bather for a short period of time. I've helped a dog give birth in home. I was in a car accident recently so i am currently unemployed and flexible with many schedules. I will not work on Saturdays due to I am busy during that day for religious reasons I give my pets a pretty simple schedule for food and outdoor time. I am happy to give lots of play and pet time. I also do enjoy just sitting down a maintaining their claws and fur.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.

Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Allensburg home-away-from-home, packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Allensburg.

<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Allensburg sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
