About: I really like to meet animals where they are. If they are high energy and love to play then that is what we will be doing. If they are a lounge on the couch kind of dog then I will lay with them. I currently have one dog and I have been able to teach him many tricks like roll and high five! I also have 3 cats who keep me busy but in a good way! I have dog sat before many times but I am excited to meet new animals on Rover. I work full time on the weekdays from 7:45-4. I would also be able to be at your home for a few minutes during my lunch break depending on the location. I have full availability Friday night - Sunday night I always make sure that I am following their routine and doing things the way that you would do them! I will ask any questions if I have them to make sure I am doing everything right. The animals would never be able to escape as I am very careful with doors and I always wrap leashed around my wrist for a second layer of protection

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a dog, so I understand that they aren't just pets, they're family. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, specifically German Shepherds, so I’m very comfortable with large breeds and strong personalities. I’ve been around all kinds of dogs, from highly protective working dogs to total goofballs, and I know every dog has their own personality and needs. I also have experience caring for multiple dogs at once, so I’m used to handling different routines, energy levels, and temperaments. I currently work part-time and am a student, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I’m able to accommodate morning, afternoon, or evening visits depending on your pet’s needs. I’m also happy to work with specific routines since I know consistency is important for pets. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I take that seriously. About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. Dogs of all backgrounds tend to gravitate towards me and I have never had any negative interactions. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. Feeding, exercise, and handling/care were done daily, which can explain my comfortability and familiarity with pet care. I currently am home as I finish my masters degree online so my daily schedule is fairly free. I workout and do part-time contract work when I am not doing schoolwork. I’m extremely flexible and will be willing to meet your needs as best as possible. Simply put, I treat the pets like they are my own. I ensure they are met with sufficient attention, exercise, nutrition, and safety while under my supervision. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). I’ve found it helpful in the past to use my own dog as a bridge between myself and the client’s pet, as his presence tends to build confidence and reassurance.
